它是英语中常见的一种语法结构，看似简单，人们一开始学英语就会碰到。
比如：Beijing is the capital of our country;He is the monitor of our class. 句中n(a)+n(b)是一种从属关系，“of”译为“的”。
在由于简单，人们认为，这种语法只表示单一的概念，也只有一种译法，于是不管语言环境发生什么变化，现成的译法到处可套，结果译文既不能表达原文的意思，又不符合汉语的习惯。
