文章是以“He pulled in front of it as the wolf was catching up fast, just a dozen yards away now”为结束语的。

With one hand on the bars, he fired the spray at the wolf. A bright red cloud enveloped the animal, and to Mac’s relief, it fell back, shaking its head. But a minute later, it was by his side again. Then it attacked the back of Mac’s bike, tearing open his tent bag. He fired at the wolf a second time, and again, it fell back only to quickly restart the chase.Mac was pedaling hard now. He waved and yelled at passing cars but was careful not to slow down. He saw a steep uphill climb before him. So frightened was he that he hardly said a whole sentence, but stammered, “the wolf ……, please let me in.”Seeing the wolf running towards the car, Paul opened the door without any hesitation, pulling Mac into the car. Three men in the car were staring out of the window and saw the wolf standing there, thinking how to fight back the wolf.Paragraph 2:A few minutes later, the other two cyclists arrived. About a hundred meters away, the two men stopped and realized what had happened to their friend. Being aware of the wolf’s cruelty and not to startle the wolf, they were determined to stay where they were and attempted to think out an idea. Suddenly, one of the cyclists touched the food bad which they brought. A good idea occurred to him that they could lead the wolf to the forest by throwing their beef and pock away. Smelling the flavor of the meat, the wolf turned around and ran alongside the meat. The two cyclists u-turned in a crossroads. What comforted the two cyclists was that Mac did not get injured. “Thank you for stopping to save me, said Mac to Paul and Becky. Mac and his two friends decided to go back home in case they would run into the wolf again.XX学校支部“示范岗”考核评分表被评党员姓名:评议时间:年月日满分:100分被评得分:。

As the final year students in Zhejiang province were sitting in the exam hall, they were nervous yet determined to do their best in the English section of the college entrance exam. The reading comprehension portion was particularly challenging, with a passage about the impact of technology on society. In the passage, the author discussed the pros and cons of technological advancements in modern society. Theyhighlighted how technology has brought about convenience and efficiency in various aspects of life, such as communication, transportation, and healthcare. On the other hand, the author also pointed out the potential negative effects of over-reliance on technology, such as social isolation, loss of privacy, and job displacement caused by automation. After reading the passage, the students were asked to write a continuation of the passage, expressing their own views on the topic. Many students took a moment to gather their thoughts before starting to write. Some argued that the benefits of technology far outweighed the drawbacks, citing examples of how it has improved their lives and the lives of those around them. Others, however, expressed concerns about the negative consequences of technological advancement, and emphasized the importance of finding a balance between embracing progress and preserving traditional values. One student, in particular, took a different approach and proposed potential solutions to mitigate the harmful effects of technology. They suggested that society should prioritize education and training in the face of automation, and that regulations should be put in place to protect individuals' privacy in the digital age.As the students finished their essays and handed in their papers, a sense of relief and accomplishment filled the air. They knew that they had done their best to articulate their thoughts and opinions on a thought-provoking topic. Regardless of their individual perspectives, one thing was clear - the impact of technology on society is a complex and multi-faceted issue that requires careful consideration and ongoing discussion.。
