AWS(Advance Collision Warning System)In order to achieve the purpose of the vehicle rollover warning and automatically ask for help when rollover occurred. The paper carried out in-depth study about vehicle rollover mechanism, vehicle attitude solver and remote communication. On this basis, combined forecasting technology and embedded software programming techniques to achieve the rollover warning and automatic alarm for rescue. The paper also used the simulation experiment and real vehicle experiment to verify the vehicle rollover warning effect. And in this paper also used the

GSM/GPRS wireless communication technology to achieve alarm for rescue automatically when vehicle occurred rollover.

Algorithm, the paper can get the real-time roll angle, then could be utilized in the algorithm of the ehicle rollover danger discriminant index.

Then, forecast the vehicle rollover danger discriminant index rorward according to the prediction method of auto regressive model to get the future risk of the vehicle rollover. If forecast the the trend to occur rollover, then alarm the driver by voice or dangerous indicator, in order to the driver have enough time to take proper measures to avoid rollover occurred.

The paper select the s3c6410 chip which embedded ARM11 processor as the processor of the main controller. Then take advantage of experiments all used J-Turn, Double lane Change and Fishhook operation

condition. The real vehicle experiment warning effect is: the rollover warning forward 1-3 seconds warning average relative error is 4% to 10% at the J-Turn operation condition experiment; the rollover warning forward 1=3 seconds warning the average relative error is 6% to 13% at the DLC operation condition experiment. Through co-simulation and real vehicle experiments prove the accuracy and timeliness for the rollover warning system designed in this thsis.
