Happy English Book 4本册书的主人公是天天、津津、Coco，天天是一个6岁的小男孩，津津是一个可爱的7岁小女孩。
他们是一对表兄妹。
Coco是一个6岁的女孩，是天天与津津的邻居，也是同学。
共同相处的日子里，在他们身上发生了一系列的小故事，充分展示了他们的学校生活和家庭生活，以及他们头脑中想象的外面的世界。
第一课（共2页）1、在情景中语言的呈现2、相关主题的词汇知识扩展第二课（共1页）A chant，与主题内容联系的歌谣，是根据呈现的词汇编写的，主要目的是培养学生对语言的感觉，形成正确的语流，语音和语调。
歌谣中的生词不作为教学内容，学生能够跟随录音模仿说。

Step1 warm-up
1.Sing a song.
2.review
review the words and sentences we learned in last semester through a game.
(game: show the words we learned in last semester on the screen one by one. The first student stands up by his back heading towards the screen and the second student satnds by facing the screen. The second student can perform or explain the word on the screen, but he can’t speak out the word or its chinese meaning. The first student should have a guess of this word.)
Step2 new class presentation
1.teach the words “tall” and “short”
1) show a picture of giraffe on the screen and ask students how they feel about the giraffe.
2) Show a picture of pig on the screen and ask students how they feel about the pig.
3) Then make a contrast of these two pictures and ask the students what their feelings are
now.
4) show the two words “tall” and “short” on the screen. And students read them by following
the teacher.
5) do some exercise
Show some pictures about tall and short and ask students to describe them.

1.show the pictures of an old man and a young boy and ask students to
describe the two pictures in Chniese or English.
