A WalkDescribe a place where you often walk. You should say:∙where and when you walk∙what you see on this walk∙who you walk withand explain why you walk.I usually walk in a beautiful park trail that goes into the woods in the evening with my parents. There are artificial wooden bridges over streams and there is a lot of wildlife to observe, like parrots and magpies. On both sides of this river are parks with many different exercise equipments for the public to use. There are also paved walk ways that run down the sides of the stream on both sides for people to use as walk ways or to jog on.I like walking for several reasons. For one thing, walking is a kindof aerobic exercise. It makes me feel like living in the air and it can burn body fat while building leaner muscle. For another, it can improve mental health, including reducing stress and lowering the incidence of depression. Moreover, talking some interesting things happened every day while walking with my parents makes me feel we bound together. Also, with all the beautiful natural sceneries I feel relaxed and happy.A Day OffDescribe what you would do if you had a day off, free from work or study. You should say:∙where you would go∙what you would do there∙who you would go withand explain how you think you would feel at the end of this day.If I had a day off, I won't do anything special or taking any adventures. I just want to spend the whole day with my family. And I think go to a park with a big lake is a good choice. Because this is a free way to get some outdoors time with my family, and maybe even some exercise too. For example, I think I will bring a kite or bike there. Also I want to rent a small boat and go out fishing. Finally, after a whole day's activities we can have a BBQ there. No matter you are working or studying, we are all busy with our daily routine and leave no time for family. A day off and going out with parents makes me feel we bound together. Talking some interesting stories while we are fishing makes me feel warm. Also, with all the beautiful natural sceneries I feel relaxed and happy. Moreover, having outdoor activities is like living in the air and I can get rid of all the pressure.Something Unusual or Interesting You Did RecentlyYou should say:∙what it was∙who was with you∙why you did itand explain why you think it was unusual or interesting.I went to bungee jumping with my best friend recently. The reason is simple. We have our normal daily routine doing the same thing every day, but I want some difference to break the ice and I want adventure. Bungee jumping is the most dangerous activity on the planet. It is a good wayof testing your fear limits. Few people would like to try and it is also an unusual extreme sport for me.The hardest part was actually going off the platform. You wanted to do it but the fear kicked in and the fear part of your mind wanted to hold back. However, when I got over it, it was like a free fallrush that stimulates every part of your emotional psyche. Bungee jumping was like a backwards trampoline that made you go really high. You free fell for a long time until the cord caught you. Then, it stretched and bounced you back up, and you free fell again and went back up and back down until the bungee lost most of its energy. It was the best feelingever. I was buzzing and grinning for a whole day after bungee jumping, but I am not sure whether I have the courage to do it again or not.A Trip that Took Longer than ExpectedDescribe a trip that took longer than you expected. You should say:∙when it happened∙where you were traveling to∙who you were traveling withand explain why it took longer than you expected.Last year I went to Yunnan with my family and it was really a trip that took longer than I expected. It took longer than I expected due to several reasons. The first one was because of massive delays. For one thing, the airplane delays for more than 8 hours for no reason which was the most ridiculous one and annoyed me a lot. I remembered I read an entire book and played video games but still can't kill the time. For another, when I arrived at the destination, the hotel was still not ready for us to check in and we wasted another 2 hours. The second reason was travelling in Yunnan was totally different from what I had expected. I thought Yunnan was a quiet city with marvelous natural sceneries but when I arrived there I was shocked by the huge number of tourists. No matter where I went I had to take a deep breath. I don't feel natural and I can't focus here. Anyway, it was reallyan awful trip. If I could choose again I would rather stay at home.A WeddingDescribe a wedding you attendedYou should say:∙whose wedding it was∙who was there∙where it wasand explain how you felt at this weddingOk, well I've actually been to quite a few weddings, because I'm now at the age when a lot of my friends are starting to get married, so it was kindof difficult choosing which one to describe, but I guess probably the easiest for me to talk about would be the most recent one I went to, which was that of a neighbour of mine. Also, what I should probably make clear to you first, though, is that weddings here in China tend to just involve the wedding reception, as you may know, without the signing of marriage documents, which is usually done in private several months before the wedding, so it's just the reception which I'm gonna talk about. And, as for who was there, well, I couldn't tell you everyone, because there were absolutely loads of people, you know, the hall was pretty packed, so my guess would be that there were probably something like 250 to 300 guests, and if I'm not mistaken, it seemed to be that the majority were friends and relatives of the bride and groom, although I also noticed that they had invited quite a few of their colleagues from work as well, because one of them, who I think was her boss, went up on stage to make a speech at some point.Anyway, with regard to where the wedding was held, well, it was actually in a small city called Zhuji, which is about an hour's drive just to the south east of Hangzhou, because that's where the bride comes from, andthe reception itself was held in quite a nice-looking hotel, which was easy to spot because it was about 10 times higher than all the buildings around it!So regarding how I felt at the wedding, well, to put it simply, it was a really wonderful wedding, and there were some parts of it that moved me quite a lot, such as when the bride broke down in tears when she was on stage thanking her parents for all the support they had given her. It was also really clear to see how much the bride and groom loved each other, as they couldn't take their eyes off each other the whole evening, so I was really happy for them and was glad that I made it to their wedding. That's pretty much it, I think, so thanks a lot for listening.A Positive ChangeDescribe a positive change in your life. You should say:∙when it happened∙where it happened∙what the change wasand explain how you have benefited from this change.I used to sleep late at night and get up late in the morning. But my parents kept telling me it was not a healthy daily life routine and I felt uncomfortable too. Moreover, there were some friends telling me that girls could get older easily in bad daily life routine like this. So I didn't think it was a bright idea to keep sleeping late and getting up late. I had to make a positive change.I used to get up at 9 and sleep at 2 and here's the scenario: I get up likea zombie with a big hang over. I used to feel dizzy and I kept bumping into walls but still felt light headache. My eyes were blurry and it felt like I was 500 pounds. However, when I get up at 7 and sleep at 11,those negative effects are all gone. I am energetic all day long and have a very scientific schedule for working, eating and entertainment. So I am in a very positive mood and manage to do all things without making mistakes. Moreover, my skin is getting better too.An Occasion When You Got AngryDescribe something that made you a little angry. You should say:∙what it was that made you angry∙where you were when this happened∙what you were doing at the timeand explain why you felt angry.China has become car crazy. Bad traffic situation pissed me off every day. Living in Beijing you have to face a massive traffic jam and I promise thissituation will take a hundred years to clear up. Every day's gridlock in the city is normal. Going a dozen blocks can take an hour during rush hour. The worst one I have encountered was the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival this year. Normally I can go back home from the centre of the city in an hour, but that day I was stuck in the traffic jam. It puzzled me why cars completely stop on the highway when there were no accidents or other apparent reasons to stop. Why didn't people just keep driving? It drove me crazy! Finally, an hour's trip took me 6 hours and I definitely believe that every time it comes to the traffic in Beijing it would bea tragedy since then.A Bad Weather ExperienceDescribe an experience you had with bad weather. You should say:∙what sort of bad weather it was∙when it happened∙where you were when it happenedand explain how it affected you.Well, one particularly unpleasant experience that sticks in my memory was the time I went to Huangshan with my mum and brother, which must have been about 2 or 3 years ago, when my mum came over to visit me in Hangzhou. We had decided to go travelling to Huangshan as none of us had been there before, and we'd heard a lot of great things about it.And basically what happened was that we got caught in a big storm, which seemed to spring up out of nowhere, because one minute it was pretty sunny, and the next it was, quite literally, pouring down with rain, and I mean, REALLY chucking it down! What didn't help us was the fact that, at the time the storm hit, we were right on top of a mountain, and because we hadn't checked the weather forecast, we didn't have any umbrellas with us, so we got absolutely soaked! And the worst thing was, when we reached the cable car to get down the mountain, we were told that it had closed early for safety reasons, coz there were some flashes of lightening, and this apparently madethe cable car unsafe to go in.So we ended up having no choice but to walk down the mountain instead, and because it was still raining when we got to the bottom, we couldn't find a single free taxi. So there we were, completely drenched and utterly exhausted, stuck in the middle of nowhere.Thankfully, though, after what seemed like an eternity, a minivan finally pulled up and gave us a lift back to where we were staying, which wasa huge relief. I honestly don't know what we would have done if it hadn't come, because it was getting pretty dark and most people had already left the mountains, so thank goodness it came! And looking back on it now, I would say I actually gained quite a lot from this experience, as it's really kind of taught me to appreciate the times when I do have easy access to transportation, which is most of the time.So yeah, that's pretty much it, and I hope the story wasn't too boring!A Family EventDescribe an enjoyable family event that you attended. You should say:∙where and when this event took place∙what you did (or, what happened at this event)∙who was there at this eventand explain why this event was enjoyable. One of the happiest events in my life was when my family and I went to the Aquarium in Dalian. It is the biggest and most spectacular aquarium in Asia.I was nine at the time and had had a very bad summer holiday that year, since I had to stay home for most of the break because I broke my leg. My Mom and Dad did not tell me about the trip until week before we left. When they first told me I did not believe them, but they finally convinced me that we were really going. The day before we left I could hardly sleep because I was so excited. We had done a lot of packing and preparing, but I still did not feel sleepy. Eventually when I did drift off, I had a dream about riding a dolphin. It took us about ten hours by train to get to Dalian. When we got there we got settled in our hotel and then had dinner. The next day we got up very early and headed for the Aquarium. We saw so many different kinds of beautiful fish, exciting shows, and listened to interesting stories from the tour guides. My favorite was the dolphin show. The entertainers rode on the dolphin's backs, and one entertainer even got flipped high into the air from a dolphin's nose. I love my parents so much for giving me such a special opportunity and memories that I will cherish all of my life.A Sport Event You Participated or WatchedDescribe a sports event that you took part in or watched. You should say:∙what the event was (or, what the sport was)∙ where it was∙who was competing∙what you did during this competitionand explain how you felt about this event.I love to play badminton especially in the summer time. It is a game I really enjoy, so play it whenever I can get a willing partner. It is a lot like tennis, but I can play badminton anywhere. I do not have to go to a tenniscourt to play and I can play in between classes without getting sweaty. Badminton is played with rackets that look a lot like tennis rackets, but they are much more delicate. You should have a net, which sits high above the ground, and a ball that is called a birdie. The birdie has a small rubber half a ball on one end, and it fans out with feathers on the other end to help it to fly. A badminton court has a net in the centerthat stretches from side to side. Each side of the net has a square that the team mates play in. It is ideal to play badminton with four people, but you can play one on one as well. You can also play without points or a net, but I do not think it is as much fun.It is a game that takes a lot of energy so you get plenty of exercise playing badminton. The main reason I like the game is that everyone, man or woman, has an equal chance to compete. There are so many sports that require height or strength to be good; it is refreshing to play one that I have an equal opportunity to win.Maybe that is why I get very competitive and energetic when I play. I love the game; it is fun and rewarding, and I feel alive when playing. An Outdoor ActivityDescribe an outdoor activity that you like doing (or do regularly). You should say:∙what this activity is∙where you do it∙when you do it∙when you started doing itand explain why you like it.Recently, a few friends and I were trying to decide on something interesting and unconventional to do. We came up with a list of ideas and started knocking them off one by one. We went hiking, ice skating, and to a few museums; but our expedition to the planetarium turned out to be my favorite and most memorable experience.Nowadays in Beijing with its dry air, city lights, and polluted skies it is almost impossible to see the sky, much less the twinkle of the night stars. So for me this was an amazing and unique experience. As you recline your seats back, you watch as the revolving dome above you as it comes to life. The narrator of the planetarium speaks smoothly through the peaceful, serene music and guides you through stories about the planets. I absolutely adored the show and will freely admit that I nearly jumped out of my seat during the "big bang" part. The exhibitions are fun and educational regardless of your ageor expertise. It is also worth to note how modern the makers addresswell-known subjects in a sleek, modern, and very engaging way. I learned about the many different constellations, and where they are supposed to be visible from the earth. I opened my mind to the many theories brought forth about the creation of the Universe, and gained a wider perspective about the existence of life. There is so much to be known about life outside our little world; my trip to the planetarium instilled in me a quest for knowledge. Not particularly in astrology, but in all things.。

Speaking of the late experience I had, I would like to talk about the trip to Hong Kong in last Christmas holiday. Last Christmas, my parents and I planned to go to HK for Christmas shopping and sightseeing. We were all extremely excited because that was the first we enjoyed the Christmas holiday in HongKong and also Christmas in HK was always supposed to be awesome. We all couldn’t wait for that day and counted down the days to the beginning of our long dreamed HK.

But I suddenly remember the time when I was involved in a group project. So I’d like to share with you that particular experience.I can’t remember exactly when it was. But it was 5 or 6 years ago, when I was a sophomore student at college. Our teacher gave us an assignment, which was to set up a group and do an English presentation about college students’ leisure activities.I remember there were 8 people in my team. And our objective(目标) was to producea report first and then give a presentation. So the first thing we did was to divide our team into 3 groups. We need to conduct a survey(做调查) in the first place, so three of us spent time designing a questionnaire (问卷调查) and then gave out (分发) to students. We did it online, but at the same time, we also went to different classes in order to get more data. It was a very important way for us to collect information. Thankfully, we received lots of feedback. And later, another 3 team members started to analyze the outcome of the survey and prepare an outline for the report. Finally, the rest 2 members had to deliver an English presentation based on the report. Our group presentation went really well. The teacher praised(表扬) us for doing such a perfect job.It was really a memorable experience for all of us and I felt a real sense of accomplishment(成就感). But what I was most proud of was how well our team worked together. I think each member showed a good level of responsibility and teamwork.此段可不说(Now, I feel that working in a group is challenging, yet rewarding. Sometimes, disagreements may happen, but everyone just tries to reach a compromise(达成妥协). So group activities or projects can cultivate team spirits(培养团队精神). )Part3:●Do you think it’s important for kids to join a team?Learning to work as part of a team is very important to kids. Because on one hand, it will help children to develop many social skills, such as patience, communication, respect for others and compromise. On the other hand,It also helps themdevelop confidence in themselves and trust in other people.●Is the role of a leader important in a group?Yeah, definitely. Group leaders are very essential. Leaders offer guidance(引导) to all members of the team to ensure they are fulfilling their roles(完成他们的角色). Team leaders also ensure that workers are motivated(有积极性的) to perform well. They also provide ideas and make critical decisions for the team.●What personalities should a good leader have?In my opinion, a good team leader should have several essential traits(特征). A good leader should value and respect his team members, otherwise, no one would listen to him. Besides, he or she should be decisive, confident and have strong communication skills.●Can everyone become a leader?Well, I’m afraid not. Being a leader requires certain personalities, not anyone possesses(拥有) these traits that a good leader should have. Although everyone can be taught to develop some leadership qualities, but I still believe not all of them can be effective leaders.Sample 1: (合作完成一个学术项目)Actually, I’ve enjoyed doing lot of things with a group of people, like travelling abroad, discussing a current issue, doing an academic research or project. I still remember the time when I was involved in a group project. So I’d like to share with you that particular experience.I can’t remember exactly when it was. But it was 5 or 6 years ago, when I was a sophomore student at college. So group activities or projects can cultivate team spirits(培养团队精神). )Sample 2: (享受一群人的旅行)Actually, I’ve enjoyed doing lot of things with a group of people, like travelling abroad, discussing a current issue, doing an academic research or project. But I consider travelling with a bunch of friends to be the most enjoyable. So I’m gonna share with you one of these experiences.I can’t remember exactly when it was. But it was 3 or 4 years ago, when I was a sophomore student at college. It was summer holiday. And I went on a journey to Thailand with 3 of my friends. We all felt super excited because it was our first time to travel abroad. Actually, before we set off. We did a lot of preparations. 2 people made a travelling plan or itinerary(行程计划). Like the tourist attractions and daily routinesand stuff like that. The other 2 people had to buy air tickets, book hotels and restaurants. We really had a blast(玩得愉快) when we were in Thailand. We visited Bangkok and Phuket Island. We had lots of great memories.I think it was really enjoyable and memorable because of various reasons. First of all, travelling with multiple people can be more affordable and save money. I mean, when you book your accommodation(住宿) or have meals, you can always split the bill (分摊). For example, when we were in Thailand, we had seafood, traditional Thai food, street food, etc. It didn’t cost too much per person. Another benefit is that, they can help you to take good pictures. We took lots of great photos of scenery and selfies (自拍) as well. Also, travel buddies (旅行伙伴) offer support to each other if something goes wrong. More importantly, travelling with friends is a great way to enhance friendship(增强友谊) as well.Part3:●What kind of jobs need people to work in a team? There are a number jobs where people need to work in a team. After all, One can’t finish a task or a project merely by himself, which takes a great deal of (大量的) time.A good example is professional players. Like basketball players have to cooperate to score a goal(进球). Boat racers need to work together to move their boat faster.●How can children improve their social skills?I suppose children can improve their social skills by spending time with a group of people. When they are not staying at school with their peers, they can join in some activities that require socializing. For instance, they can join a sports team or a club and talk to a variety of people.●What are the benefits of boys and girls playing together? There are several benefits of boys and girls playing together. One of the biggest benefits is that it can help them to learn to socialize with people who are different from them.Sample:Well, it’s a little tricky to talk about since it doesn’t happen a lot whenI unexpectedly meet someone you know. But I still remember that time when I met my old classmate, so I’m gonna share with you that particular experience. It took place a couple of days ago when I was out for lunch, I bumped into(偶遇)a high school classmate whom I haven’t seen since we graduated.I was walking along the street when I saw him standing in front of a restaurant. He hasn’t changed a bit,so I recognized him right away(马上). I approached(靠近) him and said hi; however, it took him a while to realize that I was his high school classmate. At that moment, I felt very awkward. Luckily, it didn’t last long and we started to give each other a quick update about our lives recently, such as where we are working currently, our families and. I was surprised to know that he is a senior leader(高级领导) of a large company and he was married two years ago and he even has a child. Of course, we swapped(交换)phone numbers and promised to keep in touch in future.Since we were both in a hurry, we didn’t spend much time chatting to each other. However, it always feels good when you unexpectedly meet a long-lost friend(很久不见的朋友). If we had had more time,we’d probably have reminisced(回忆)about our high school memories with all the crazy things that we did back then.part3:●Are there any meetings that people need to plan in advance?I don’t think it necessary for people to always plan meetings in advance (提前). It might be useful to plan somethings like locations, activities. But that’s not essential. Sometimes it’s nice to do something that is spontaneous(自然发生的), which is more fun.●Are there any jobs related to unexpected things?Yeah, there are quite a few jobs that are related to unexpected things. For example, teachers may experience something unexpected at work. You know, children are unpredictable(无法预测的). Besides, police, lawyers, dentists may also come across something unexpected every now and then(时常).●Why do friends meet up?Well, friends meet up each other because they just want to catch up(叙旧) and maintain friendship(维护友谊). They may hang out with each other, talk to each other about the things happened lately. Or they just enjoy each others’ company(陪伴).Sample:Well, people change their opinions from time to time. It happens to me a lot, actually. I’m going to share with you a time when I altered (转变) my opinion towards a country that I visited.I can’t remember the exact time and date when I visited there. But it was 5 years ago. It was summer holiday and I decided to travel around Thailand with a bunch of my close friends. None of us had ever been there before. So we felt really thrilled(激动的) but very worried. Anyway, that was the first time that we travelled abroad. You know, I used to have some stereotypes(刻板印象) about Thailand. I had thought it was a dangerous place, because I had heard a lot of things, like drugs, riots and that kind of stuff. We were even worried about how we could contact people if we were in danger. Besides, we thought Thailand was a really poor country, there were slumps all over the place(到处). And most people might be lady-boys and dark-skinned.But when we arrived there, we found ourselves in a completely new world. We discarded (抛弃) our opinions since day 1. We first visited Bangkok, the capital city. It was such a diverse(多元化的) and vibrant(充满活力的) city. There were visitors from all countries. Also, there were no slumps. We had a real blast(玩得愉快) there. We never thought that there could be so many high-rises(高楼). Everyone we met during the journey was so hospital(友好的). They were always smiling to people to show their friendliness. That was definitely a mind-blowing(让人大开眼界的) experience, but it was also thought-provoking(令人深思的). I realized that the best way to explore a country or a culture is to be there in person. Seeing is believing (眼见为实).Part3:●Do children like to change opinions?I think they do, but it is a little hard for them. I think children are more emotional than adults, and this means that their opinions are based on emotions. Emotional decisions, in turn, are very hard to change.●When do people change opinions?People change opinion when they find some evidence that is against their previously held opinion. If they don’t change, they suffer from guilt. although they may resist at first, they slowly do change.●Who do young people turn to for advice?I think young people mainly turn to family, especially their parents or some people like teachers for advice. Some youth also turn to their peers for suggestions. For example, when they want to receive advice for their academics, they will turn to their teachers or classmates. When they want some advice on improving their work, they might ask their parents or colleagues.Anyway, it really depends on what kind of matters are concerned.●Do people like to give opinion about politics?Well, I think people in my country are not shy in expressing their own views when it comes to politics. And I think this is good because it means people are politically active and they care about their country, they also care about domestic and international affairs (国内和国际事务).Sample:You know, English is the most widely used language in the world. People from most non-English speaking countries start to learn English from an early age(从很小的时候). In China, English is a mandatory subject(必修科目) since primary school. However, students rarely have the chance to talk to native speakers in English. They focus more on reading and writing. I’d like to share with you the first time when I spoke to an American in English.I can’t remember exactly when it was. But it was almost 13 years ago when I was stilla middle school student. I lived in a really small town where there were no foreign visitors. One day, our school invited an American teacher and organized an “English Corner” activity for students. Everyone was excited but shy, because few students really talked to others in a foreign language. At the beginning, nobody voluntarily(自愿地) came up to start a conversation. I guess they just didn’t know what to say. All of a sudden, I came over to him and started my first dialogue in a foreign language. We talked about our hobbies and he shared his opinions on Chinese food. I found that speaking in real life was a little different from what we learned from textbook.I was pretty nervous at that time, to be perfect honest. I was afraid of making mistakes. But I still tried my best. When the American teacher said “ Your English is very fluent.”I felt a sense of proud and achievement. It was great to show off(展示;炫耀) my English in front of a big crowd. Also, It gave me more confidence and motivation to learn English well.Part3:●At what age should children start learning a foreign language?Well, most people think that children should start learning a second language as early as possible. To be more precise, I have to say children should acquire a new language at the age of 4 or five. Studies have confirmed that the creativity and critical thinking skills will be greatly enhanced (增强) if children learn a second language at a younger age. I guess it’s because they have the natural ability to learn. They learn things much quicker.●Which skill is more important, speaking or writing?Well for me the more important one is speaking because when you can speak it is easy for you to write. There are so many people who knows how to write but could not utter(说;讲) to speak clearly. Communication comes first in speaking.●Does a person still need to learn other languages, if he or she is good at English?I would say they don’t need to. Because English has become a global language, it is the most widely used(最广泛使用的) language across the world. No matter you travel or do business with foreign companies, you can communicate in English. However, if people work for a company that requires another foreign language, they’d better learn it.●Do you think minority languages will disappear?Unfortunately, yes. I think it is already happening. In China, for example, there are 55 minority ethnic groups (少数民族). Each group has their own unique languages. But nowadays, more and more people learn and speak Chinese Mandarin or other languages like English since they are born. So, their own languages are spoken less and less. I’m afraid that those minority languages will gradually disappear in the future?Sample:I have to say that I just forget things from time to time, I’m a very forgetful person. but the most stressful was when I forgot my phone.I do almost everything with phone and without it, I feel lost and upset. Whether it’s doing my banking or chatting with friends, most of the time I’ll reach for my phone instead of my laptop. There was one day I was taking a taxi home and had a lot on my mind. I was lost in thought(陷入沉思)and put my phone on the seat. I wasn’t really paying attention when the taxi dropped me off (让...下车)at home. I got out, paid the driver, and didn’t really notice that my phone was laying on the back seat. The cab drove off and I unlocked the door to my apartment. It took me quite a few(许多) minutes to notice that something was missing —my mobile phone.I became really worried because I didn’t know how to contact the driver or even which taxi company it was that had taken me home. I thought the driver wouldn’t have known who the phone belonged to, either.I had a spark of inspiration(一道灵感) and realized I could call it from my laptop. I rang my own number over and over again (一遍又一遍). Maybe another passenger or the driver noticed, but after several attempts(尝试) the driver answered. I explained what had happened, and asked if they would be kind enough to bring it back to me. I gave them my address and had some money prepared for when they arrived. I felt relieved and lucky that I was going to get my phone back.I heard a knock on the door —it was the taxi driver with my phone in his hand. I was smiling ear to ear(笑的合不拢嘴)and offered him some money. I breathed a sigh of relief(松了一口气).That experience also acted as(作为) a reminder because I have realized that it’s always important to keep an eye on (注意) our personal belongings.Part 3●Why do people lose their things? These days whenever we go outside we have so many belongings to carry like the mobile phone, the sunglasses or a wallet , car keys and more. I have observed that some of my friends always waste precious time searching for misplaced or lost belongings. I think people who lose their things very often are not well organized.●What kinds of things do people usually lost?Sometimes we lose keys and on many occasions we misplace a comb, clips, a pair of socks.I have a few dozens of single socks at home . What you lose mostly depends on the circumstances and the place where you go. Sometimes people get pick-pocketed(被扒手) and lose precious things like mobile phones.●What can people do to find things they’ve lost?In my opinion the first step is to try and remember about the places one has visited when you try to search for something that has been lost. If something is of great value(贵重物品), is it best to report to the police.Another measure that can be taken is to put a notice to make others realize that you have lost something and where they have to return it in case they find it.●What can people do to avoid losing their stuff? We all are well aware that we have to be careful when we don’t want to lose something. The keys should always be in a key-chain the money should always be in a wallet in deep or safe pocket so that it doesn’t fall off. Last but not least is keeping the things well organized at their proper place. Or they can create a check list (检查清单) for themselves.Sample:Well, generally speaking, I enjoy all genres(类型) of music, ranging from pop to rock and roll to folk music. I’m also into music of different languages as long as they sound appealing to me. But in certain circumstances, music can be annoying(烦人的). So I’m gonna share with you one of these time when I didn’t enjoy the music.I can’t remember the exact time and date. But it was last year, a music festival was organized by our college. Some local bands gave a performance there. However, I didn’t enjoy it at all.The main reasons for it that, the main lead singer was lip-syncing(对嘴型) on his songs, he was not actually singing, I was very disappointed.Everybody wanted to listen to his voice and finally they started singing live. But when he started singing, his voice was cracking, I was disgruntled(不满意的). The musician's also looked amateur(业余的) in playing instruments. He didn't even interact with(与...互动) the audience who were at first excited about the show. At times it was difficult to even comprehend what they were playing. Moreover, the music was too loud and the singer's voice was not audible(听得见的) to the audience due to the loud music. Their performance was very boring andunpleasant.I wasn't enjoying it at all. I even wanted to leave the festival. I also heard people murmuring(低声抱怨) about how bad the performance was.I remember many people blaming the event manager for this bad arrangements. So, this was the event in which I didn't like the music played.Part3:●Why do so many young people spend a lot of money on concerts?I think it is mainly because of the experience. Hearing a singer on the screen can never be the same as the feeling of hearing them live. Also, I think it’s about spending quality time with friends.●Do you think older people like the same music as young people?Well, they definitely have different preferences(偏好).I feel that young people are more into pop, rock music, basically any music that they can dance to. They don’t care about the lyrics; they care more about the beats and the rhythm(节拍和节奏). Old people are more into soft, slow music. They don’t music that is too loud.●Do you think music concerts are suitable for old people to attend?I think it really depends on what kind of music concerts they attend. For instance, if they attend classical music concerts like piano concerts, they may feel enjoyable and relaxing. However, if it’s a rock concert or a pop music concert, they may consider it to be loud and noisy.●Why do shopping malls often have background music?Well, it’s true that almost every shopping mall play background music. And I believe the music is there to provide a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers. We remember shopping through not only sight but also through music playing in the background.Sample:Well, it can be understandable for a toddler(学步的儿童) or a preschooler(学前儿童) to be naughty and cranky(暴躁的).However, it is the responsibility of parents to teach their children some basicmanners(基本礼仪).Sometimes children’s misbehavior(不当行为) can embarrass their parents. Honestly, there are not too many incidents when I witnessed children behaving improperly in public. But I remember a really annoying(烦人的;令人讨厌的) little boy I saw in public, So, I would like to share with you that particular experience.I can’t remember exactly when it happened. But it was several weeks ago. I was on my way back home and I was on the subway. At one of the stations, a mom with her children came into the train and found a seat. The little boy looked 5 or 6 years old with a small plastic bag on his hand.A few minutes later, that little boy took out the plastic bag and started eating the sandwich inside. It looked as if he was staving. People started staring at him, because the smell of the sandwich permeated(弥漫) the air, which was pretty unpleasant. And normally, it’s forbidden to eat and drink on the subway. Maybe the child was not aware of this. But his mom was just looking at her phone and completely ignored(忽略) this. And nobody on the train reminded that little boy. But what happened later really made others annoyed, The little boy just throw the bag on the floor and started to watch cartoon without using earphones, which was really noisy.I’m a tolerant (宽容的) person but I couldn’t stand it anymore. I told the boy to pick up the plastic bag and stop bothering people, I said it was a public place and it was inappropriate(不合适) to do so. His mom, instead of getting angry, apologized immediately. That little boy also felt guilty of (愧疚) what he had done.Part3:●What bad behaviour do children usually have?Normally, the bad behavior that children usually have include creating noise, breaking things, disrespecting others, scribbling(乱涂乱写) on the walls and stealing small things like pencils, erasers.●How should parents stop their children from behaving badly at public?I think parents should stop their children from doing bad things at home. There should be no double standards(双重标准). Moreover, I think parents should not just stop children from doing something bad but also tell them why it is bad to do it so that their children will realize that it’s wrong to do such things.●Are parents these days stricter than in the past?I’m not sure but I suppose parents these days are not stricter than in the past. I think it is mainly due to (由于) two reasons, the first is the strict laws against physical punishment and the second reason is the influence of western culture.●Whose influence on children is more? Parents or their Friends?I think in the early years, the parents influence is greater as children spend the majority of(大多数的) their time with the children. But as children grow older, they spend considerably more time with their friends, and I think during these years, their friends have more impacts on the way they behave.Sample:Time never comes back. Nobody likes wasting time. But lots of people still do that every now and then(时常). For me, I think I have also wasted a lot of time, I’m gonna share with you one of these situations. It just happened a couple of months ago, when the COVID-19 pandemic went viral(迅速传播) in my country. And the whole city went into lockdown(封锁). Everyone had to stay at home in order to reduce the risk of getting infected(感染) by the virus. It was a shock for everybody as they had never faced or even imagined such a situation before. But some people were gloating(幸灾乐祸) about it because they didn’t need to go to work or go to school. For the first three or four weeks after the lockdown. I was staying at home with my family.I thought it would be over soon. So, basically everyday, I was watching TV shows, chatting with my friends online or playing games. And I gained much weight(体重增加了).Actually, before the lockdown, I was planning to take the IELTS exam. But I hadn’t made any preparations yet. I just kept thinking, “I will start preparing as soon as the lockdown is over”. However, the government kept on extending the lockdown.I knew there were a lot of materials for IELTS available online. I wrote a to-do list to manage my time. But I got lazier since the lockdown, I didn’t want to practice my speaking or writing or listening. Instead, I just squandered(虚度;浪费) my time. Several weeks passed, I did nothing about it and realized that there were not much time left. I had wasted plenty of time, indeed. I felt regretful(后悔的) because it would have been the best time to study.Part3:●How can we avoid wasting time?Well, there are some effective ways for us to manage our time. First and foremost, it’s essential to create a to-do list so that you have a clear direction, you know what you are going to do. You will make the most of(充分利用) your time. In addition, you should。

But myMummy was late, so after wh at seemed like aneternity, I started to look around for a bigger treebecause I assumed my Mummy couldn't find me and the tree actually wasn't very big a t all, inthe school grounds. So I wandered out of the school grounds and alon g this side road that hadlots of trees planted all along it, big chestnut trees th ey were, comparing to see which one wasthe biggest. And of course the bigge st one was on the corner of the side road and the big mainroad. So I was stan ding under this tree, all of 4 and a half years old, when my Mum comesbelting along, along the main road from where we lived, knowing that she was late a nd in a panic, and what did she see but her little darling leaning out over the main road, waving ather, all alone. So of course she was very angry with the school and rang them up and told themoff for their lack of supervision. I the n just dreaded going back there as I knew they wouldgive me a hard time, and so they did. They utterly humiliated me and that just summed upmy whole school experience.。

如本季一道考题‘Describe a time when someone made noise’。

为了描述本话题卡,我们可以进行一下故事安排。

第一个抽象段落中,除了开头句型外,
把时间(e.g. last semester),地点(in a café),人物(two guys)交待出来。
