【教学过程】
I. 词汇教学
1．本建议教师引导学生关注单词的音、形、义,如星期类单词的后缀是-day,强调星期类单词的首字母需要大写,同时,每个单词都有其简写形式.如Sunday可简写为Sun.,.教师可以用What day is it today?提问,'s____的结构回答今天是星期几.
（教学实例:教学视频一）
（1）Read the word “Sunday” fluently.
（2）Ask and answer.(T: What day is it today? Ss: Today is Sunday.)
（3）Play a game.（转转盘）
将星期一至星期日的单词写在圆盘上,转动圆盘,指针停在哪,学生就可站起来大声读这个单词,教师转动三至四次.
2．在词汇教学中适当渗透文化知识,挖掘语言的文化内涵.星期类单词背后有着丰富的文化历史背景.通过对星期单词词源的讲解,能够帮助学生更好地理解单词的含义和对单词的记忆,同时激起学生学习英语文化背景知识的兴趣.
3．通过学习与心情相关的英文歌曲,可更快熟悉和记忆星期单词.
II. 句型教学
1．充分利用教材提供的情境,将句型的学习与课文a部分的语篇、学生的活动、谈论天气等相结合,是句型的学习生活化、情景化.比如利用课表谈论课程安排,利用日历谈论活动安排或天气（结合C部分进行教学）,将新的语言与学生已有的知识经验相联系,可以降低语言学习的难度,自然地习得语言.
2．请学生将a部分的内容表演出来,并辅以有效的竞争机制.学生的课堂参与度会更高,对英语学习的兴趣也会更浓厚,听力、朗读及口语表达的能力都能得到有效的锻炼！
III. 故事教学
1．在小学英语阅读教学中,要注意培养学生良好的阅读习惯.教师要引导学生养成按意群阅读的习惯,克服“指读”的习惯.
2．教师要教会学生逐步学会默读,不要发出声音,将注意力集中在寻找信息方面.
3．针对教材D、E部分,教师可利用图片或多媒体呈现举办生日聚会的情景,把学生的注意力吸引过来.然后让学生以小组为单位,结合已学单词与句型,合作学习.不但能很好地完成练习,而且能演绎出两场不同的生日情景.
IV. 语音教学
1．本单元的难点之一就是字母组合fl在单词中的发音.可呈现学生已学过的词手势字母fl的单词,如:fly, flag, flower, flat等,并将这些单词编成顺口溜或小故事,让学生反复诵读,找出这么组合fl的发音规律.
2．F部分的chant可以用鸟而飞越花朵与高塔的图片呈现一个个场景,教师配上旁白:
Look! The birds are flying. The flowers are very beautiful! And the towers are so tall! The birds
are saying “Let's fly and fly. Let's fly over the flowers. Let's fly and fly. Let's fly over the towers.”
把chant变为仿佛是鸟儿们在说话.
3．并且教师可以给chant里的每一句话编上合适的动作,师生一起边说边做,学生学起来便会既快又轻松.
