Ruth has lived a remarkable life, full of adventures, and accomplishments. She grew up during the Great Depression and World War II, and her experiences during those times shaped her1worldview and values. I met Ruth four years ago while she was walking her dog in a park near my home. We started having routine conversations after that and I was able to learn what a fascinating person she is.Throughout her life, Ruth has been an avid traveler. She has visited over 50 countries and has countless stories to tell about her adventures. She has climbed mountains in Nepal, gone on safari in Africa, and backpacked through Europe in her 70sRuth has also been a biblical Christian for most of her life and has dedicated much of her time and energy to volunteering and serving others for the cause of Jesus Christ. One of the most impressive things about Ruth is her resilience. She has faced many challenges in her life, including the loss of her husband and several close family members. However, she has always remained optimistic and has never lost her sense of humor. She always credits her great resilience to her relationship with Jesus Christ.Despite her advanced age, Ruth remains active and engaged with the world around her. When she is not sharing the truth of the Bible, Ruth enjoys watching old movies. She also2stays up-to-date with current events and is passionate about advocating for causes that are important to her.Overall, Ruth is an inspiring example of a life well-lived.

当part2结束时,考官会要求:could you please give the card back to me?

Describe a family celebration that you remember. You should say-What you were celebrating-Who was present-What happened-and why you like that celebration描述一次家庭的庆祝活动。

One of the books that I have recently read is called At Home: A ShortHistory of Private Life by an author called Bill Bryson. It is a thick, factualbookabout many different subjects. It is really a collection of information andanecdotes related to our private lives, past and present. The book is mainly about things that have been included in our homes overthe centuries. The author started out by wondering about the history ofeverything in his own home. As it is a factual book rather than a novel, it doesnot have a plot as such. Each chapter in the book covers the history of aparticular room. For exle, the chapter on the kitchen talks about the historyof running water, electricity, gas cooking and so on. The chapter aboutthebathroom looks at the history of plumbing, sanitation and privacy. Thebookcontains so much interesting information that I think I will have to read itagain in order to take it all in.As to the kind of people who would enjoy it, I think anybody who isinterested in history and enjoys learning lots of interesting facts would enjoyreading this book. It would also appeal to a busy person, as it’s a good book todip in and out of, because you don’t have to follow a story, as you would with anovel. You can just take it chapter by chapter, or even page by page, as thereis something to learn on every page. Each chapter is written like a story, eventhough it is a factual book, so it takes the reader to all sorts of unexpectedplaces, and for me it was a real page-turner.I like this book because I learned such a huge amount from it, which hasmade me look around my own home with different eyes and appreciate just how farwe have e in a short space of time in terms of architecture, technology, lighting, fort and many other things. (Describe an exciting book you have read)You should say:What is the name of the bookwhat type of book it ishow you knew this bookand explain why you like to remend this book to your friend1.

Describe an important event that you celebrated 庆祝的重要事件.doc

Describe an important event that you celebrated

Describe an important event that you celebratedYou should say:What it wasWhere it happenedWhy it was importantHow people felt about it我要说的重要事项是中国网球运动员李娜在2011年获得法国网球公开赛的冠军。

The important event I am going to talk about is that Lina, a Chinese female tennis player, won the championship of French Open in 2011.

Describe an unusual experience of traveling 旅游经历.doc

Describe an unusual experience of traveling

Describe an unusual experience of travelingYou should say:Where you wentWhen you went thereWho you were withWhat you did thereAnd explain why it is unusual参考答案下面给小编根据具体的题目要求,给出的原创参考答案:。

Well, I would like to talk?about an unusual traveling experience in Thailand.

It was during the second summer of my college when I traveled to Thailand with my classmates for the first time. I went to quite a few tourist spots such as the Grand Palace in Bangkok and the beautiful beach in Phuket Island. But, the most impressive one to me, to some extent, was a history museum.

Describe a good service you received 优质服务.doc

Describe a good service you received

Describe a good service you receivedYou should say:What the service isWhen you received itWho you were withHow do you feel about it我要说的优质服务是由海底捞的服务员提供的。

The good service I am going to talk about is provided by a waiter in Haidilao, a famous hotpot restaurant in China. It was about half a year ago when my classmates and I had just finished our exams of the senior year in college and decided to have a feast to compensate our wounded heart. We chose the popular Haidilao as our venue.

Describe a book you want to write 一本想写的书.doc

Describe a book you want to write

Describe a book you want to writeYou should say:When you had this ideaWhat kind of book you want to writeWhat the book is aboutIs it difficult or easyAnd explain why you want to write this kind of book参考答案下面给小编根据具体的题目要求,给出的原创参考答案:。

A book I want to write is an autobiography, which can reflect my trajectory and meaning of life.

It was after I finished a course about (auto)biography last semester that I had this idea of writing. Initially, I thought this course would bore me to death, because to my view at that time, nobody except for the well-known could write a good (auto)biography. But, my understanding was totally wrong after I took this amazing course. Our professor showed us her piece of work to demonstrate how he could write a biography by, for example, playing the “straw person ” in his magic land of Oz,a story full of adventures. Her story told us that everyone was unique and special in his or her life story.

Test 1

To wind up, Jianghan road has my memorieswith my best friends; it is part of my history.
