It's in the Zhejiang Province of China, right by the East China Sea. Ningbo is a super old city with a rich history dating back over 7,000 years! Can you believe that? It's been around for a really, really long time.One of the best things about Ningbo is its location by the sea. There are beautiful beaches and coastal scenery everywhere you look. My favorite spot is Yangpu Beach. The sand is soft and golden, and the water is a pretty shade of blue-green. During the summer, my family and I love to go swimming and build sandcastles there. We also enjoy flying kites on the beach because it's usually quite windy.Ningbo is famous for its delicious seafood dishes. My mouth waters just thinking about the fresh fish, shrimp, and crab caught right from the ocean. One of my all-time favorite foods is Ningbo's specialty, a type of small yellow croaker fish called "xiaohualian." It's so tasty when steamed or fried! The city is also known for its tangerine peel green tea, which has a unique and refreshing flavor.If you visit Ningbo, you have to check out the Tianyi Pavilion Library. It's an ancient private library that has been around since the 16th century! Can you imagine how many books are inside?The building itself is incredibly beautiful too, with classic Chinese architecture and gorgeous carved details.
