1.(Show two pictures of the same tree at the different time)
Learn Picture 1a & 1b
Ask “What’s this?” to elicit “It’s a tree.”
Ask “What colour are the leaves?” to elicit “They’re green/brown/yellow.”
As you know, there are four seasons in a year. The leaves have different coulours when the season changes. Prompt the students to come to a conclusion: the leaves are green in spring. They’re brown and yello w in autumn.
Read the two sentences:
1a The leaves are green in spring.
1b They are brown and yellow in autumn.
2.Learn Picture 2a & 2b
a.Learn the new words: afternoon, evening
b.Why the sun has different colours?
Ask students to think of some animals that can change their colour. Discuss with the students why they change their colour.(e.g. Some animals want to protect themselves.) Ask students what else things in the natural world can change their colour.
Step Four: Consolidation
1.Listen to the tape and read after it together.

3. Do an experiment for the students: First take out some paints and a bowl. And put some
red paint in a bowl. Then add some green paint. After that mix these colours. Let students guess what colour it is now. Then show them the bowl.
4.Ask students to finish the exercises at the bottom of Page 32 of the Students’ Book.
5.Do the experiment in groups of 4 or 5. then check the answer if their guesses were
correct.
Step Five: Assignment
1.Listen to the tape and read the text for several times
2.Copy the new words and the sentences.
3.Do the experiment with the parents.。

（沪教牛津版）四年级英语下册说课稿Module 3 Things around usUnit1 Colours and places我在教材处理方面，我能较好地把握教材的重点与难点，准确地确立每一单元的目标以及每一课时的目标，但在教学中，我总是过分强调教材的内容，低估了大部分学生的学习能力，因而在教材创生方面做得比较少，比较拘泥于教材的内容，拓展性的内容在教材处理中安排的比较少，课堂教学层次不明显，学生在课堂中可接受的信息量很少，不利于学生语言能力的发展和课外自主的探究。
因此，如何多查找一些与本课有关的内容，把一些适合学生的内容安排到教学内容中，拓展学生的知识面，并多选用图文并茂的教具，使教学更有趣味，降低教学难度是我努力的方向。
在改进自己的教学实践中，有一堂课我感触很深，这堂课是Oxford English 4B Module 3 Unit 1 “colours and places”中“look and read”的教学内容。
这一单元的主题是“colours and places”,这是一个比较贴近学生生活的话题，范围很广，而教材提供给我们的内容是有限的，因此，我根据教材的内容进行适当地拓展与延伸。
教材内容：1a. the leaves are green in spring. 1b. the leaves are yellow and brown in autumn.2a. the sun is yellow in the afternoon. 2b. the sun is red in the evening.3a. the lizard is on a leaf. It is green. 3b. the lizard is on a rock. It is brown.创生与拓展一：教材的内容一共只有六句话，有三个小主题，其间没有联系，如果按照书本的顺序照本宣讲，学生肯定会觉得索然无味。
