从语言能力上看,五年级学生已初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力。

他们能描述什么天气需要穿什么衣服,谈论自己对服饰的喜好,并能就“购物”这一话题开展简单的对话。

由于购实衣服涉及到试穿、尺码等问题,学生并不熟悉,教师可以引导学生利用旧知带动新知的学习。

从情感态度价值观上看,五年级的孩子正处于青春期前期,他们越来越在意自己的外表,对于美的观念正慢慢形成,教师应引导他们形成正确的审美观。

二、教材分析:本单元是《英语五年级下册》Unit 8Buying clothes,在教材编排上属于Module 3Things we do,旨在提高学生“用英语做事情”的能力。
