浅谈While-reading——以新课标六（下）Module7 Unit 1为例摘要：有句话说：高兴学来的东西永远不会忘。
要成功的开展小学英语阅读课，教师要关注知识输入阶段的趣味性和有效性，抓住学生的眼球，提高课堂实效性。
关键词：现状分析；while-reading; 教学模式“Reading make a full man”，小学阶段是阅读习惯养成的初始阶段，同时阅读也是提高英语水平的重要途径。
《英语新课标》明确规定小学毕业时的阅读要求：“……能借助图片读懂简单的故事或小短文，并养成按意群阅读的习惯，能正确朗读所学故事或短文。
”小学高年级的教材以语篇或故事为主，为我们提供了很好的阅读素材，因此小学英语课堂阅读教学走进了小学英语教师的视野，也成为一个较难把握的方面。
一、本校阅读教学现状分析：由于我们小学英语起步较慢，教师在小学英语阅读教学理论和实践方面存在双重不足的现象，使得我们在面对阅读课型的教学时有一种手足无措的感觉。
但通过前两年省小学英语阅读课赛教的引领，大部分老师都基本了解阅读教学三部曲：Before- reading (读前), While- reading(读中), and Post- reading(读后)，并且都严格按照阅读三部曲进行课堂教学。
但纵观身边的英语阅读课堂教学，Before-reading 阶段，教师通过猜谜、游戏、歌谣、故事等多种方式导入话题，激发了学生的学习兴趣。
学生兴趣盎然的过渡到While-reading阶段，但是好景不长，在几个毫无信息差的True or false问题或W 问题后，学生慢慢失去了兴趣，在教师繁琐的词汇、句式、语法讲解后，课堂彻底成了一潭死水，只有几个学生在拼命硬撑着，最后教师只能草草结束这堂课。
由此可见，While-reading整个阅读课堂的核心环节，教学设计处理是否得当，是否有效，决定着这一堂阅读课堂教学的成败。
二、有效的While-reading教学模式的探究While-reading是语言的输入环节，其目的是阅读和理解材料，使学生获取较详细的材料信息，了解和熟悉课文中生疏的词汇、短语、结构等语言现象，并检查学生对阅读材料的理解情况，发展学生的阅读技能。
