本节课为Section A3a~3c，以短篇阅读为核心； 从内容上偏向故事性，而且在让学生体会目标语言的基础上渗透了丰富的文化内容和品德教育，体现了文化的多元性。 Section A部分的3a是本课的教学内容，标题为Full Moon, Full Feelings。课文共三段，以介绍中秋节的来历为主要内容,这篇课文以嫦娥奔月成仙人们在月下摆设香案，向嫦娥祈求吉祥平安，并由此传承开来的中秋节拜月的风俗。
学生分析
本学期所教班级3，4 班，学生基础教材差，但他们学习英语的积极性还算可以，并且他们对小故事感兴趣。
