Procedure:
Warm-up (5 minutes)
The teacher greets the students and asks them to share a location they know in the city, such as a
park or a restaurant.
The teacher models using prepositions of place to describe the location, such as "The park is next
to the library" or "The restaurant is across from the bank".
Vocabulary (10 minutes)
The teacher introduces new vocabulary related to locations in a city by showing a map and
explaining the names and meanings of different places.
The teacher asks the students to repeat the words and practice saying them aloud.
Grammar (10 minutes)
The teacher introduces prepositions of place by writing examples on the whiteboard, such as

本课的教学对象是七年级的学生，他们对“问路”并不陌生，并且学生在七年级上册已经接触过“in、on、under”等介词，基本上都对问路、指路时使用的话语有一定的理解认知，而且大部分同学也能简单说出指路的单词，但学生的能力主要还停留在形象思维上，并没有通过课堂学习形成问路、指路的完整表达，因此教师需要引导学生通过多样化的课堂设计，熟练掌握现在进行时的表达方式，针对问路、指路展开听说活动，并能运用到生活表达中，用语言知识美化生活。
