人不能再在地球上生活了，只好搬到飞船上去。
人类要求购买大型机器人来清理地球上的垃圾。
人们在等待垃圾被清理干净，有一天回到地球。
大量的机器人被送到地球上捡垃圾，但这些机器人不适合地球的环境，渐渐地它们都坏了。
最终，只有一个机器人，嗯，依据预定的程序捡垃圾。
明显，这是一项不行能完成的任务。
就在几年后，机器人收集了很多人造物品。
有一次，当他在外面处理垃圾时，一艘宇宙飞船从天而降，把一个机器人放在了地球上。
他叫AWE。
很快，威尔和AWE 成了好伴侣。
很快，飞船飞回地球，把他的好伴侣带到了飞船上。

当机器人WELL来的时候，他抓住了植物，但是机器人助手马上启动了遥控机制，植物带着WELL飞到了遥远的宇宙深处。
队长旁边的机器人启动了压脚，压了下去。
威尔的尸体被压碎了，但植物没有被损坏。
机器人助手被队长打断了。
当船长看到绿色的植物时，他很开心而兴奋，说：“我们要回地球了！地球是我们的家！”当他到达地球时，AWE为他的伴侣WELL转变了许多部分，这使他恢复了原来的样子，植物慢慢地长大了。
