The Little Prince小王子读后感

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential isinvisible to the eye.—The Little Prince

This book mainly tells us the experience ofa prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finallycame to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. When I was in high school, Iread this book for the first time. At that time, I could hardly understand it,but I felt that the little prince is a sad child. His words always touch myheart. I read this book again after several years of work and have a betterunderstanding of it.

After reading the little prince, I feel thatI have experienced the real life in the fairy tale. This book uses severalshort and profound stories to depict the good and evil, sincerity and hypocrisy, interests and innocence, vanity and jealousy, love and tolerance of humannature.

Love is not possession but freedom.Theuniverse is a big world, everyone's heart is a small world, in the littleprince's world, everything is so simple and pure.Although the rose was a littlemelodramatic, I am very

moved by its love for the little prince. As the littleprince said as he left the rose: "I am too young to know how tolove."This sentence touches me a lot, many people think that the peoplewho love them should be good to them, so they will not know how to cherish.Butas they grow old they will regret for not knowing what love was when they wereyoung. If the little prince had learned how to love earlier, he might not losthis life in the end.If we all know how to love, there would be less sorrow andregret.

We should look forward to happiness and findthe happiness around us.In this book, one of my favorite words of fox is:“You come at four o‘clockin the afternoon, then at three o‘clock I shall beginto be happy. I shall feel happier and happier as the hour advances ”. As I read this, I wondered why we rarely have this kind ofhappiness?Where do we leave the lost happiness, the past or the future? The foxtold the little prince: “It is only with the heart that one cansee rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye”.This truth is simple and profound. We always use our eyes to see theworld, strangers, friends and even family around us, but ignore our most realheart. We have

been deceived by our eyes over and over again, but we still trustthem 100 percent.

The little prince is a child, so he has a pure heart unsullied by the uglyreal world, and a desire and curiosity to understand the outside world.Hissearch for truth contradicts the ugly world, and perhaps the world does nothave the answer he wants.Maybe that's why he died at the end of the story.Maybeonly his death will free him. Maybe only when he is dead can he return to thelittle planet that he left in anger but has been missing for a long time.

Love means responsibility. The fox said to the little prince:“You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You areresponsible for your rose..."Love makes one understand sadness and pain, and at the same time it relieves loneliness and makes life interesting andmeaningful.

We all used to be a child, with simple wishes and simple minds. We also usedto indulge in our toys, even if it is old, but for us, it is stillirreplaceable treasure, because it used to grow with us.When we grow up, we cannot

feel those small happiness any more. Please remember the innocence in yourheart forever.
