北戴河英文导游词(含5篇)

北戴河英文导游词(含5篇)第一篇:北戴河英文导游词秦皇岛-北戴河英文导游词 Set on the coast some 280 km east of Beijing, the seaside holiday resort of Beidaihe is famous not only as a tourist center and as a good place to recuperate after illness, but also as one of the best places in the world to see migratory birds.China‘‘s Yanshan Mountain Range winds its way thousands of miles from the west to the eastern seaboard. It sends a number of waterways like the Henghe,Daihe,Yanghe and Luanhe rivers down to the Bohai Sea at Beidaihe. They create a vast area of wetlands,mud-banks,and lagoons with rich feeding and good places for birds to rest. Here migratory routes come together like great seasonal rivers of birds linking northeast Asia with south China,Indo-China,Australia and even far off east Africa.Nature has richly endowed Beidaihe with bird species and of the 1,198 found in China,416 have been recorded at Beidaihe. This is a part of the world that plays host to eighteen species of gulls, three of swans, and six of cranes.Xu Weishu, vice director of the China Ornithological Society tells of the time when as many as 2,729 oriental white storks were recorded in Beidaihe, doubling the previous world record.Look into the skies of Beidaihe in the first ten days of November every year and you will be sure to see flocks of red-crowned cranes and white cranes. The year from May 1999 to May 2000 saw ten new bird species added to the list for Beidaihe.Back in the 1940s Danish scientist,Axel Hemmingsen, published a report saying that he had seen large numbers of cranes at Beidaihe, but no one followed up on this at the time. Then in 1985 guided by Hemmingsen‘‘s report,British ornithologist Doctor MartinWilliams first came to Beidaihe. With the help of an official from the Beidaihe tourism authority,Dr Williams visited Shijiutuo Island in nearby Laoting County. What he discovered there was far beyond his expectations and he found many new kinds of birds.Since then, accompanied by his Chinese counterpart,Xu Weishu,he has brought many overseas professionals together in Beidaihe every year to enjoy watching the birds and carry out research.Since the first two parties of Chinese bird enthusiasts visited Beidaihe in 1999,more and more domestic visitors have joined bird watching groups going there on vacation.Beidaihe has enjoyed a good reputation since 1893.It was then that a British engineer helping build a railway line recognized that with its low hills, beaches and sea breezes, the headland was an ideal place to go to escape the summer heat of the interior. On his recommendation, the first holidaymakers arrived.Beidaihe, until then a poor fishing village, quickly became popular with diplomats, merchants, missionaries, and well off Chinese.Meanwhile the birds are regular visitors here too.Flocks of gulls are easily spotted. What might not be so easy is to be able to distinguish among the bewildering variety in the skies over Beidaihe. Many different birds pass through here as the seasons come and go and every year still sees fresh species spotted. It is a magnificent sight to see the occasional flock of large cranes pass by or to watch the birds of prey, however the larger birds have been decreasing in number.Round the calendar The period spanning the last ten days of April through the last ten days of May is the best season for bird watching. This is when you can see the greatest number and variety of birds in Beidaihe. Then the period from the last ten days of August through September is the time for the medium and small wading birds to passthrough.October brings another peak season as many birds pass through the area, going south for the winter. As the colder weather comes in with the first ten days of November, flocks of cranes will be making their way south. They will come north again the following March.· For waterfowl and songbirds, try Chitu Hill,Lianfeng Hill and the hilltops in Geziwo Park or the many well-wooded courtyards in Beidaihe District.· For swimming and wading birds,Daihe,Yanghe and Dapu rivers should not disappoin t.· Visit Jiaoshan Mountain to enjoy watching birds of prey and songbirds.· Shijiutuo Island in nearby Laoting County is well worth an extended visit of a few days duration.During the course of a typical 12-day visit, you might expect to see 200 different kinds of birds.Beidaihe China International Travel Service arranges specialist tours for bird enthusiasts.Their office number is 086-335-4033598.

Bird's Nest, also known as the National Stadium, is located in the Olympic Green in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was designed by Swiss architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, along with Chinese architect Li Xinggang. The stadium was built for the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, and it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics events. The Bird's Nest is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture, with a unique and innovative design. It has a capacity of 80,000 seats, and its exterior is made up of a steel frame with a translucent membrane, which gives it a distinctive appearance. The interior of the stadium is equally impressive, with a bowl-shaped structure that provides excellent sightlines and acoustics. One of the most interesting features of the Bird's Nestis its ability to change colors. The stadium is equipped with a lighting system that can be controlled remotely, allowing it to display different colors and patterns. This feature has been used for various events, such as the New Year's Eve countdown and the anniversary of the 2008 Olympics. The Bird's Nest has become a symbol of Beijing and a popular tourist attraction. It has also hosted various cultural and sporting events since the Olympics, such as concerts and football matches. I have been to the stadium several times, and each time I am amazed by its beauty and grandeur.中文:鸟巢,也称为国家体育场,位于北京市朝阳区的奥林匹克公园内。
鸽子窝公园英文导游词

Dove Nest ParkEverybody, We are at the famous Dove Nest Park. This park was inscribed by General Zhang Aiping who was well known as “bel-esprit in the army”. This is not a big park, which only covers 3 hectares area. But such a 3-hectare park is famous in China even all over the world. As a small park, Dove Nest has its own charm to attract thousands of visitors from distance. I sum up several great brilliant points of this park. What are the brilliant points? Ok, before your patience diminishes, let’s go into the park and see for ourselves!Since it is called Dove Nest Park, there must be doves to go with its name. Look forward, we can see Doves Building on the left. There are hundreds of square doves being fed in this part. On the square in front of dove building, you could feed the birds by yourself off your own hand. They will stand and dance on your arms and shoulders. And you are welcome to take photos with the doves. However, dove building is not the reason for the park’s name. Then, Why the park was called Dove Nest Park? Let’s look ahead on your right. We can see a huge rock standing steeply on the side of park near the sea. If you look at it more carefully, you will discover that there are splits in all directions spread all over the whole piece of rock. In the past, flocks of seabirds settled on the rock at daytime, and inhabited in the splits at night. The natives called these seabirds as sea doves. That is why the park was named Dove Nest Park.It is said that these huge rocks have been 25 hundred million years old. They extend into the sea, just like an eagle spreading its wings, so it was called Eagle Rock. Walking up along the steps, we would climb on Eagle Rock. There is a kiosk on Eagle Rock, called Eagle Kiosk. From the architectonic perspective, it is single-roofed, stone-pillared and enamel-led-tiled. The tablet hang on the kiosk was inscribed by former vice-chairman of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Hu Jue Wen.Please follow me and climb up to the Eagle Kiosk. Do you feel the sea breeze blowing over your face? Please look down at the beach, you will find that the rock we stand is the only high place, and the rock faces just east. The position is so good, that the Eagle Kiosk on Eagle Rock becomes one of the best positions to view sunrises all over the whole country, which almost enjoys the same reputation with Mount Tai. The famous writer Mr., Jun Qing had portrayed the spectacle of the sunrise at the Dove Nest. The sunrise is one of the famous scenery points. Come and feast your eyes on this beautiful view. When it comes to the hottest tourism season, people can enjoy gorgeous sunrise from here. The sunrise on the sea is beautiful and sublime. The moment when a new sun is spurting fom the offing, and the new sun always brings new hopes. At the north of the park is the famous Dove Nest spring tide flat.Flood tide and ebb tide once a day is eternal scenery here throughout the ages. The spring tide flat is also an everglade protected by the state. Seashells、fishes、shrimps、crabs, all of these kinds of sea food are abundant here. Those are the food for birds too. The Yanshan Mountain to the north and the Bohai Ocean to the South serve as wonderful guides for birds to coordinate the directions. Because the scenery of Beidaihe is elegant, and there is Yanshan Mountain at the north of Qinhuangdao, Bohai at the southeast, so that the reasons above makes here become a migratory halfway habitat. Every spring and autumn, Aves experts and Aves fans both here and abroad come to see birds. Therefore, Beidaihe is well known as “Mecca of viewing birds”. Looking at birds in Dove Nest is the second show point of the park. For your convenience of visiting and rest, a long porch was built on the edge of cliff for looking on the sea. The design absorbs the characteristics of the Summer Palace and Mountain Hamlet for EscapingHeat in Cheng De. 24 scenes of Beidaihe, stories from folklore, flowers, birds, insects, and fishes were made in colored drawing on the wall of the porch. Walking through the porch, the beautiful sea and the developing Hai Gang Borough could be seen. It’s funny today. We can see the Yanshan branch range and enjoy the beautiful scenery of “hookers beyond Qinhuangdao”.At the end of the porch there is Sun Bath Kiosk, the three words, “Sun Bath Kiosk”, were inscribed by Mr. Yan Jici. There are three scenes where can catch a glimpse of sunrise on the sea they are: “sunrise from cloud”, “sun bathing in the sea”, “the path of sun filling with gold”, Dove Nest was well-known at its first time just because of the scene “sun bathing in the sea”. On the right-side of the porch, there are library, stele porch and stele kiosk, with poems in history describing Qinhuangdao. These poems include “Jie Shi Door diction” by Ying Zheng, the king of nation Qin, “looking on the sea in spring” by Li Shimin, the second king of nation tang, “Lotus Rock park” by Xu Shichang, and “listening the tide and waiting the moon back”. We can see the long history of Qinhuangdao between the lines. On the west-side of the park, there is a artificial seawater lake. It was completed at the time when the dyke was built in 1985. The lake is divided into two parts by an island. Both the lake and the island have a romantic name: Mandarin Lake, Lover Island. So, we wish all of you, all shall be well, and Jack shall have Jill.Dove Nest Park is also the education base of patriotism. By 1998, “Treaty of Friendship Between China and Japan”has sighed up for 20 years, Qin Huang Dao Qian Ye cement limited company and the Japanese cement company gave the park 600 cherry blossoms, and a tablet for commemorating friendship. Wish the cherry blossoms full-blown, and wish the friendship of China and Japan lasting forever. The statue of Chairman Mao was built up in 1992 for monumentalizing the birthday of Chairman Mao. A place with only scenery but no culture is not a good travel site. Dove Nest connected two famous poems together, that is the third brilliant point in the park. The first one is “wave panning sand·Beidaihe” by Chairman Mao. It was April 1954 that Chairman Mao came to Beidaihe at his first time. It is also the first time for him to see the sea. He came again in July. In a rainy day of August, Chairman Mao was touched by the sight and wrote the famous “wave panning sand·Beidaihe”, it is also a gift Chairman Mao gave to people of Beidaihe, because it makes Beidaihe go far in the world again! The poem was engraved on a marble, let’s go there and see it.The upper half of the poem is “The rain falls down on the time-honored land. The wave clash to the sky. Hookers beyond Qinhuangdao disappear in boundless sea. Where they glide?” The nether half of the poem is “The past have gone over thousands of years. The emperor of Wei Wu was powerful that day. There is still a poem by him left on Jie Shi Mountain, rustle in the wind it is still autumn today, but the world has changed”. The poem depicts the scenery that the sea and the sky merged in the heavy rain. Holding the past and the present, Chairman Mao sighed. The word “Wei Wu” in this poem, Cao Cao, who is the emperor of Wei Wu dynasty. The poem on Jie Shi Mountain represents the one “Gazing out across the ocean”written by Cao Cao. It is also the second poem that I will mention today. It is said that Eagle Rock in Dove Nest Park is Jie Rock which is mentioned above. At may, the 12th year of Jian An, Cao Cao went to war to the east on Wu Heng and won the battle. When he came back he passed through Eagle Rock. Facing the boundless sea, he wrote the famous poem “Gazing out across the ocean”, The poem by Cao Cao is very overwhelming, and Chairman Mao thought it highly. However, although what the Jie Rock pointed is still debatable, it is undoubtedly poetical that looking on the sea at Dove Nest, to us, the most important thing is no more than this poetic imagery. At the time of the swing of tides, you could pick up shell and dig crab here. It’s very funny. There is a Shell Garden in the Eagle Rock. Early in the morning when seawater moves back far away, you might come here with your family, bring a small bucket and a shovel. Walking with bare feet on the everglade, or in the shallow seawater, you could pick easily the clams, catch the small fish. Digging down along the small hole in the everglade, you could pick all kinds of the shells, and catch crabs that are running fast. If you are a first timer, I suggest that you consult with natives. The hospitable natives will tell you some tips and hints; then you will have a plentiful harvest. Our journey of Dove Nest is coming to the end. If you were still not satisfied with this trip, I will introduce something more of Dove Nest. DoveNest in the spring was described in a poem. It says that “tidewater in spring flow with sea, moon on the sea rise with tide”; Dove Nest in the summer, the picture was painted as “in the early morning the new sun arise from east sea, in the evenfall mountains appears under the setting sun”; Dove Nest in the autumn, the poem depicted the harvest as “Fish are fat and crab are full. Boats sail on the sea. Sea-gulls sing in the sky”; Dove Nest in the winter, poet described Dove Nest that “the world is white and calm. I go alone with nothing in my heart”! Friends, could you see something great from the small Dove Nest Park? Welcome to Beidaihe in different seasons, let’s meet together again at this park, see you!。
