读写课既可以巩固学生阅读成果的有效方式,也能够以写作的方式让学生的思维得以延展。
在阅读课上如何让学习真正发生?《普通高中英语课程标准(实验)》(教育部,2003)指出:课堂教学应改变以教师为中心,单纯传授书本知识的教学模式。
教师应帮助学生发展自主探究知识能力,获取信息能力和自主学习能力。
在教学中,教师还要注意发展学生的批判性思维和创新精神,课堂教学活动的设计应有利于发挥学生的创造力和想象力。
在教学中应增加开放性的任务型活动和探究性的学习内容,使学生有机会表达自己的看法与观点。
教师要鼓励学生学会合作,发展与人沟通的能力。
笔者从三个方面进行这节读写课的设计。
首先,在阅读中培养学生自主获取信息、探究知识的能力。
其次,创设各种合作学习活动,促使学生互相激发、互相学习。
最后,深入挖掘教材,指导学生深入思考,并结合自身观点进行表达。
教学目标1. 语言能力1)学生能够对四个城市的描写有深层理解。
2)学生能够以小组讨论,探讨what makes a city great?升华文本主题。
3)学生学会使用2. 文化品格1)学生能够欣赏四个城市不同的伟大之处。
2)学生能够落实到我们所在的城市欣赏故乡之美。
3. 思维品质学生能够发散思维搜集建筑物的形容词。
4. 学习能力学生能够运用skimming阅读技巧获得文章大意。

Teaching Material and Students Analysis
The content of my lesson is Module 1 in New Standard English Book 3. This module is about the great European cities. It introduces four famous cities in Europe. The cities are Paris, Barcelona, Florence and Athens. By studying of this unit, we’ll enable students to know more about the different features of the European cities. At the same time, let the students learn how to describe a city. Students in grade one in senior high school. / Average class/ They haven’t completely changed their methods of studying and cannot involve themselves in the class activities fully. They have difficulty in expressing themselves in English clearly. Some students are not very interested in English.
