如何导入教学?
教师上课时首先问大家What are you doing now?教师可以引导学生回答We are having a class.然后,教师拿出一张有关的图片问大家:What are the cows doing now?学生应该回答They are eating grass now.教师接着说 Yes, Now I have many pictures. You tell me what they are doing now. OK? 教师依次拿出图片问大家:What are they doing now? 回答:They are brushing their teeth.教师可以将问到过的动物贴在黑板上,然后将相应的动词短语也放在该图片的下面,便于学生对照着看。

同时,教师也要问一些与学生有关的问题,如Do you often brush your teeth? When do you usually brush your teeth, in the morning or in the evening?教师穿插的问题不宜太多,否则所要练习的句型就要受影响,教师问完所有的与动物有关的问题后,也已经将相关动词短语放在了图片下面。

教师应带领学生进行认读,然后,教师可以用这些图和短语做一个游戏。

教师对学生们说Now let’s play a game. I’ll put all the pictures and the phrases on the table. I’ll mix them up together.教师边说边把图片及短语卡片取下来并混在一起。

I want somebody to come to the front and quickly find three pictures together with their phrases. Put them back on the blackboard.教师找一个同学到前面来,然后对全班说Let’s count the number together.One, two, three, four, five, six最后教师看该学生在哪个数字前结束,然后教师说Who wants to be the next one?该游戏继续进行,直到所有的图片及短语都呈现在黑板上。

教师再组织大家复习一遍。

单元教学活动2 Matcj amd say
与上面的活动一起进行之后,教师可以通过做游戏有来强化这些短语。

比如教师说Listen very carefully. I want to choose a person to come to the front and look at
a phrase and act it out. You will guess what it is. The first person will get ten points.然后,教师找一个学生到前面,教师给他一个短语条,但全班同学看不见是什么短语。

看完后,该学生要做动作,其他同学来猜,猜对一个得五分或十分,分组做游戏。

单元教学活动3 Look and read
这是让学生熟悉单词的练习。

教师可以按照以往的方式进行。

同时,教师还可以做Bingo 游戏,教师发给每个学生一张已经有九个方格子的图,然后让学生从12个单词中选择出九个填到方框中。

最后,教师念九个单词,学生查找是否在用。

单元教学活动 4 Ask, answer and tick
该练习主要是让学生进一步熟悉所学的有关动物的名称。

该练习通过问卷采访的方式来询问对方对动物的喜好。

在让学生进行问答时,教师可以用一些图片来询问学生:Do you like to keep a turtle? Do you like to keep a rabbit?在学生熟悉的情况下,教师让学生询问四个同学,并根据所询问的结果在表上打勾或叉。

教师要确保学生用英语来问和答,同时要从头问到尾,否则就不能达到训练的目的。

单元教学活动5 Let’s chant and sing
这首歌的曲子是我们平时最熟悉的,教师关键是让学生能正确的念出每个句子。

学完了这歌曲后,教师可以根据所给的其他动物进行替换。

如This is the dog I keep in the house./ This is the cow I keep in the house./ This is the cat I keep in the house.同时,教师可以鼓励学生选自己喜欢的小动物来唱,也可以小组为单位来进行表演,并配合表演一些动作。

单元教学活动6 Look and guess
这个活动是检查学生的观察能力和表达能力。

教师通过让学生看动物的某个局部去联想出它是什么动物。

在学生联想时老师不要急于给出答案。

一定要让大家多动脑筋。

教师可以采取先让学生两人之间问答,相互猜这些图片都是什么动物,然后在大家猜的基础上对全班进行问答。

这样能保证学生有大量的语言练习机会。

按照图片顺序这些动物依次是:Sheep, pig, rabbit, bee, panda, duck, elephant, turtle, giraffe, snake, spider, tiger.
单元教学活动7 Draw, show and tell
这是一个练习表达的活动。

学生要拿着图片告诉大家自己所喜欢的宠物是什么。

教师让学生做之前要拿一张图片示范。

然后,教师可以采取先让学生相互说,再组长小组说,最后在全班说的方式,目的是给学生提供一个熟悉和运用语言能力的机会。

教学资源的开发和利用
网上有许多动物的图片,如果教师能从网上查找一些相关的动物图片并打印好,上课就能收到特殊的效果。

课后作业
给爸爸妈妈唱所学的歌曲,并自己编出一个新的内容唱给父母听。

请同学们寻找有关交通工具的图片或实物。

天天练,描红,抄写短语并背诵,听磁带朗读课文。
