认识枪械
筆者認為這些都是初學者(Beginner)應須瞭的槍械與彈藥的概貌,等認識清楚後,再較進一步深入瞭解才能應用,我們(美國華人槍學學會所屬的步槍射擊組及手槍射擊組)將會一步步來共同研究,並歡迎各界人士以及對槍學有專業的人士共襄盛舉以促進在美國華人對槍學初學的知識水準,進而培養年輕一代能進入主流社會的各類射擊競
散彈槍主要以 “給擠”(Gauge)來計算,在美國最大的是10Gauge,再來是12Gauge,16Gauge20Gauge,28Gauge,另一特別的口徑卻是以吋來算的410(0.410吋),所謂的給擠(Gauge)又是如何來計算口徑呢?它們以圓形鉛彈的大小與單位磅重來計算,譬如12Gauge即是12個鉛彈的
(Full Auto Carbine),這裡所說的卡賓不只是二次大戰美軍所用的三零卡賓槍而是泛指現在一般自動步槍縮短型的卡賓16吋槍管,有的是可伸縮或折疊的槍托而言,如民間的Bushmaster Superlight Carbine,軍方的M-4等都屬卡賓,使用如同M-16或民間的AR-15的槍彈(5.56X45mm M-193,民間規格223Remington)。
過去一般所謂的”達姆”彈傳言打中後會爆炸,其實不然達姆彈名稱來源是一百多年前,英軍有一個在印度達姆村的軍火庫 (Dum-Dum India),其中用一種中空式的彈頭(Hollow Point)在高速旋轉進入體內會分裂開如電風扇的葉片產生一種效應叫Hydrostatic Shock有震爆力在當時的無意誤傳或是故意導引成會爆炸的子彈,不得而知,也許是殖民時代的用意步槍與手槍的槍管有來福線(Rifling),凸起的部份叫來福凸線(Rifling Land),凹下去的叫來福槽(Rifling Groove),所謂的口徑(Caliber)是兩對稱的Rifling Land之間的直徑,而Rifling Groove 之間的直徑亦是彈頭的直徑,通常我們直稱口徑即為該槍彈是不妥當的,譬如直說30口徑並未”連名帶姓”說明白,應說完整譬如308Winchester(308就如同是姓氏而後面所接的附加名Winchester就如同是名字) 所有彈藥都應如是稱謂,列舉一些如下30-06 Springfield,45 ACP, 38 Special,38 Super等,前面的數字與口徑有關是”姓氏”三零是同一家族(是彈頭),後面的是名字(彈殼),各有不同大小,火力亦大不相同; 讓我們先介308Winchester來做一個說明,308前面的30就是代表口徑的大小是零點三(0.30”),而308即是前面所說的兩個對稱來福槽的距離(即是零點三零八吋0.308”)也是彈頭的直徑,由此推算可知來福點線高度為0.004吋( 0.308-0.30再除以二)。M-14三零步槍用的是308Winchester,而M-1步槍用的是30-06Springfield,此三零非彼三零,以此累推,所以要說明槍彈必須完整的”連名帶姓”,譬如一般所熟悉的槍彈(先說口徑-姓,再呼其名以稱呼之),45ACP, 38 Special, 30 Carbine,22Long Rifle(所謂的點二二)223Remington等,不然所謂的點二二就有二十多種,其中火力從最小的二三十呎磅(foot-Pound, 或ft lbs)到三千多呎磅之差別!!
