本课教学内容选自EEC英语六年级下册 Lesson 1 《 The Talent Show Is Coming Soon.》的Let’s Have Fun 2(P8--9)。

学习内容紧紧围绕儿童日常生活喜闻乐见的事件(孩子们为参加校园歌手演唱会做准备)为主线,安排了当今美国最实用而标准的生活英语,使学生真切地感受到美国生活的真实场景,具有较强时代性。

同时,故事中渗透了以人为本的教育思想,注重孩子的综合发展,致力于培养学生遇事沉着冷静、勇于克服自身困难、积极向上、合作互助等品质。

二、学情分析我校六年级学生,由于从一年级开始学习英语,学习英语的习惯较好。

针对上述情况,在教学中我注重学生口语交际能力的培养,利用情境教学激发学生的学习兴趣,通过“Work in pairs.”形式让他们开口说英语,以此来提高学生的口语交际能力。

在“听、说”领先的前提下,进一步发展学生听、说技能,加强读、写技能,四项技能综合安排,促进学生全面发展。

三、教学目标知识目标:学习用How about提出建议,进行劝导。

学习最高级的用法(Who’s the best + 名词?)巩固句型“主语 + be good at + V-ing…”能力目标:培养学生自主学习、协作学习能力和语言表达能力;情感目标:培养学生勇于克服困难、合作互助的品质。

在Unit 1,从Jia min搬书这个情景引入故事<The tortoise and the hare >的学习,本课是Unit 1的第一课时,让学生明白故事的内容,并让学生懂得做事情不能一时贪快,要在稳中求胜。

然后引申到规劝用语的学习。

儿童对故事有天生的热爱。

虽然是六年级的学生,他们依然酷爱卡通图片、动画和故事等,对故事的理解能力也较强,有一定的阅读技巧。

在已有知识方面,他们已听过或看过中文版的龟兔赛跑的故事,明白故事的寓义,所以在学习这一课时,学生较易理解与掌握。

在本课让学生知道要用一般现在时来讲故事。
