我是一名被转型的小学英语老师，我是学汉语言文学的，以前也一直教语文，但由于本校没有专职英语教师，而英语教学在现代小学教育中所占的比重越来越高，学生们也迫切的需要专业的英语教师，就这样，去年暑假我被派往参加在职院举行的英语教师培训。
也就是这次培训，让我爱上了英语教学，并决定在今后努力学习英语和英语教学方法，立志成为一名优秀的小学英语教师。
暑期培训的课程安排上有一门《空中英语课堂》，当时我完全不理解，不知道那是什么东西，问了几个同学也还是一头雾水。
后来课上通过王芬老师的细致讲解，我对空中英语有了初步的认识。
它还真是个好东西，首先，教学设计与编排对我们的教学活动起着完全指导作用，使像我这种从未担任过英语课教学的教师不会拿着教材一片茫然，并且对我的英语水平和英语教学水平的提高有很大帮助。
其次，生动的画面、新颖的活动、很容易把学生引入主动学习的境界，提高了学生学习英语的兴趣。
最重要的是外籍教师的标准发音，学生学会之后就如烙印一般难以磨灭，这对他们的英语学习必将产生重大的影响，也不会被我蹩脚的英语所影响。
开学后，通过一段的应用，《空中英语课堂》以它特有的魅力打动了学生幼小的心灵，学生被空中老师亲切的口语、空中小朋友有趣的游戏、屏幕上空中课堂精美的画面深深吸引住了，学生紧张的情绪放松了。
空中课堂让学生得到了快乐，又学到了知识。
而且《空中英语课堂》教学资源生动活泼，对我有很多帮助：
1、《空中英语课堂》资源形象生动地再现有关教学内容的时空，做到声像结合，图文并茂，创设了真实生动的语言环境，适合小学生好奇、求趣、求新的年龄特点，使他们更自觉有趣地进行英语交际活动。
它大大提高了学生学习英语的兴趣，生动地画面，有趣的活动很容易把学生引入主动学习的境界。
通过看《空中英语课堂》里的一些活动，我带领学生按照里面的模式，开展了一些比赛、游戏、表演、讨论等活动。
学生在课堂
上就是一个表演者。
教师是不需要用纪律来约束他们的，而是让他们尽情地对话，尽情地交流，尽情地沟通。
课堂就变成一个快乐而又多姿多彩的舞台。
2、《空中英语课堂》教学资源对我的英语水平和英语教学水平有了较大提高。
通过使用《空中英语课堂》，不仅可以提高课的效率，还能提高课的质量，同时，也减轻了我的负担，使我上课的时候，更加轻松。
但经过了短暂的快乐后，我对《空中英语课堂》的运用方式与方法有了一些思考。
我认为在教学中《空中英语课堂》既不能一味的用来替代教学，也不能让它束缚教师的教学思想。
应该将《空中英语课堂》资源作为教学媒体使用，借助媒体的情景、游戏等资源解决教学重难点，巩固教学内容的情景运用，提高课堂教学中学生学习的积极性。
为此，我翻出暑期学习笔记进行参考，认为应采用分段教学模式，合理运用《空中英语课堂》资源。
这种教学模式采用导入、导看、导学、导做、导评五步教学环节，其特点是选择使用资源，教师为主，资源为辅。
1、有选择的使用资源，在导看上选择资源中的情景动画和活动设计部分，适当选用导学、导做部分。
2、跟资源学习教学理念，活动方式。
3、适时纠正学生发音，培养语感。
4、遵循小学生认知规律，循序渐进，适当拔高。
另外，应根据学生情况和重难点，对光盘适当删减，回放，补充，调整课堂结构．学会如何将《空中英语课堂》资源发挥最大的效益，服务于我们的教学。
通过一段时间实践，我对这种模式有了一些初浅的经验，并时常进行反思。
在教学实践中，我收获很多，但也存在一些困惑：
1、学生两极分化现象严重。
英语对于小学生来说是一门新的语言学科，他们对此既新鲜又陌生，有些学生往往不愿意开口说，久而久之就对英语越来越疏远，形成班上成绩的两极分化。
2、没有英语语言氛围。
英语的学习需要良好的语言氛围，学生只有在英语氛围（环境）中才能运用到所学的知识进行交流，而我们教师只能通过在课堂上的40分钟为学生营造短时间的英语氛围，这是远远不够的。
3、学生学习英语的兴趣不能持久。
大部分学生在刚刚接触英语时非常感兴趣，时间长了则兴趣慢慢减退。
4、小学生学习英语以培养兴趣为主，他们通常对单词教学感兴趣，对较难的对话教学兴趣就有所减少。
因此在教学中碰到对话教学时，我往往会在教授中多穿插一些游戏操练，并且引出新知识的形式也尽量新颖，吸引他们的注意力，而教学资源只是作为辅助跟读的用途，需要对其内容进行适当的取舍利用。
英语空中课堂教学实验与研究的路还很长，而我只走了半年，我将在教学中不断的进行学习、研讨、实践、反思，关注每位学生的进步与退步，激励学生学习兴趣，争取在英语教学中有所突破。
