talking about a party
误会得到澄清的英语作文

误会得到澄清的英语作文1. It all started when I overheard a conversation between my friends, Sarah and Tom. They were talking about a party that I wasn't invited to, and I couldn't help but feel hurt and left out. I immediately assumed that they didn't want me there and started to distance myself from them.2. A few days later, I bumped into Sarah at the grocery store. I decided to confront her about the party, hoping to get some answers. She looked surprised and asked me what I was talking about. I explained that I heard her and Tom talking about it and assumed I wasn't invited. She burst into laughter and explained that the party was actually a surprise for me. I couldn't believe it! I had completely misunderstood the situation.3. Feeling embarrassed, I apologized to Sarah for jumping to conclusions without getting all the facts. She was understanding and reassured me that they would neverexclude me from anything. We had a good laugh about the misunderstanding and I realized how important it is to communicate openly instead of making assumptions.4. Reflecting on the situation, I realized that my initial reaction was based on insecurity and fear of being left out. It made me realize that I need to work onbuilding my self-confidence and not jumping to conclusions so easily. Misunderstandings can happen, but it's important to address them directly rather than letting them fester and damage relationships.5. This experience also taught me the importance of not taking things personally. Sometimes, people's actions or words may have nothing to do with us, and assuming the worst can lead to unnecessary misunderstandings. It's important to give others the benefit of the doubt and approach situations with an open mind.6. Moving forward, I plan to be more mindful of my reactions and take the time to gather all the facts before making assumptions. I also want to work on improving mycommunication skills, so that I can address any misunderstandings in a calm and open manner.7. Overall, this misunderstanding was a valuable lesson for me. It reminded me of the importance of clear communication, self-reflection, and not lettinginsecurities cloud my judgment. I'm grateful that Sarah and I were able to clear things up and strengthen ourfriendship in the process.。

我们一起来学习如何在聚会上结交新朋友吧!Making New Friends at PartiesParties are always so much fun! There's yummy food, fun games, and best of all, you get to hang out with your friends. But sometimes, parties can be a little scary too, especially if you don't know many people there. That's when you have to be brave and try to make some new friends! The first thing to do when you arrive at a party is to smile and look friendly. Even if you're feeling a little shy or nervous, putting a smile on your face will make you seem approachable and welcoming to others. You never know, someone might see your smile and come over to say hi!Next, you can try introducing yourself to someone. It's always a little bit scary to be the first one to speak up, but it gets easier with practice. You can start by saying something simple like "Hi, my name is [Your Name]. What's your name?" Once you've learned their name, you can ask them some questions to get to know them better, like where they go to school or what games/activities they like.If there are any games or activities happening at the party, those can be a great way to meet new people too! You could ask someone if they'd like to be your partner for a game of musical chairs or freeze dance. Or if there's an art station set up, you could start coloring or making a craft and invite someone to join you. Having an activity to focus on can make it easier to start a conversation.Another idea is to try complimenting someone on something you genuinely like, such as their cool shirt, fun hairstyle, or awesome dancing moves. People always enjoy getting compliments, and it could spark a nice chat!Don't be afraid to smile, make eye contact, and keep the conversation going by asking follow-up questions. If someone seems like they're not interested in talking, that's okay! You can politely excuse yourself and try meeting someone else instead. The most important things are to be friendly, have fun, and don't worry too much about what to say. Kids love making new friends who are kind, confident, and enjoy the same things they do. Who knows, you might meet a new best friend! Before you know it, the party will be over, and you'll leave with some great memories and maybe even a few new phone numbers or friend requests to add. Making an effort to meet new people can be hard at first, but it gets easier the more you practice. Pretty soon, you'll be a total pro at making friends wherever you go!篇3Title: Making New Friends at PartiesHi everyone! Today I want to talk about what to do when you meet new friends at parties. Going to parties can be super fun, but it can also be a little scary if you don't know many people there. Don't worry though, I've got some tips to help you make new friends!First of all, it's important to have a positive attitude. Don't be nervous or shy. Just relax and be yourself. Remember, everyone at the party is there to have fun and meet new people, just like you. Give them a big smile and say "Hi, my name is [Your Name]!" in a friendly voice. Making that first step to introduce yourself can be hard, but it gets easier after that.Next, ask the new person questions about themselves. People love talking about their favorite things like sports, video games, books, or anything else they're interested in. Listen carefully to their answers and ask follow-up questions to keep the conversation going. For example, if they say they like playing soccer, you could ask "That's cool! What position do you play?" or "What's your favorite soccer team?" Showing interest in what they have to say is a great way to make them feel special. While you're chatting, look for things you might have in common with the new person. Maybe you go to the same school, live in the same neighborhood, or have similar hobbies. If you find something in common, you can bond over that and it'll make you feel like instant friends! You could say something like "No way, I love [thing you have in common] too! We should hang out and do that together sometime."Be sure to mind your manners too. Say "please" and "thank you", don't interrupt when the other person is talking, and don't make fun of their interests or opinions even if they're different from yours. Treating people with kindness and respect goes a long way. Most importantly, just have fun! Parties are all about playing games, dancing to music, eating yummy snacks, and laughing with your friends new and old. If you get tired of talking, ask the new person if they want to join you for an activity or game that's happening. That'll give you something fun to do together and help your new friendship grow even stronger.I really hope these tips help you feel confident about meeting new people at the next party you go to. Just smile, be yourself, ask questions, find things you have in common, and focus on having a great time. Making new friends might seem scary at first, but it gets easier with practice. Pretty soon, you'll be a total pro! Thanks for reading, and happy partying!篇4Title: What to Do When Meeting New Friends at a PartyHi, my name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to share with you what I think we should do when we meet newfriends at a party. Going to parties is always fun because you get to eat yummy food, play games, and hang out with your buddies. But sometimes, parties can also be a little scary, especially if you don't know many people there. When I first get to a party, I usually feel a bit nervous and shy. There are so many new faces and I'm not sure who I should talk to first. My mom always tells me to just take a deep breath and smile. She says that smiling makes you look friendly and approachable. So the first thing I try to do is smile at the people around me.Once I've smiled at a few people, I look around to see if there are any other kids my age at the party. If I see some, I might go over and introduce myself. I'll say something like "Hi, my name is Emma. What's your name?" And then I'll ask them how old they are or what grade they're in at school. These simple questions can help break the ice and start a conversation. If the other kids seem nice, I'll ask them what kinds of things they like to do for fun. Maybe we can find out that we both love reading comic books or playing soccer. Having something in common makes it easier to keep chatting. I've met some of my best friends this way at parties before! But what if there aren't any other kids around? Well, that's when I have to be brave and try talking to some adults too. Adults can seem kind of intimidating sometimes, but most of them are actually really friendly, especially if you make an effort to be polite. I'll go up to a grown-up and say "Excuse me, my name is Emma. It's nice to meet you." Then I might ask them how they know the person who is hosting the party. The key is to ask the grown-ups questions about themselves. Adults usually love talking about their jobs, their hobbies, or their families. I try to be a good listener and look interested in what they're saying. I nod my head, smile, and say things like "Oh, that's really cool!" or "Wow, I didn't know that before." The more engaged I am in the conversation, the more the grown-ups seem to enjoy chatting with me.Another good trick is to compliment something about the person you're talking to. You could say "I really like your necklace, it's so pretty!" or "You have a great sense of humor!" People tend to like you more when you say nice things about them.Of course, meeting new people can be intimidating at first, but it's also really exciting! I've made so many new friends just by being brave and introducing myself at parties. You never know who you might meet or what cool new things you might learnabout them. As long as you stay positive, ask questions, and be a good listener, you're sure to have fun.Sometimes kids get shy and want to just hang out on their phones or play video games at parties instead of mingling. But I think parties are the perfect chance to step out of your comfort zone a little bit and make some new buddies. Why not give it a try next time? You might just meet someone who could become your new best friend! So those are my tips for what to do when you're meeting new people at a party. Just remember to smile, introduce yourself, ask questions, listen closely, give compliments, and stay positive. Before you know it, you'll be having a total blast hanging out with your new pals! Making friends is one of the best parts of going to parties, so don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Who knows who you might meet?篇5Title: Making New Friends at PartiesHi everyone! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to share with you some tips about making new friends at parties. Going to parties can be super fun, but also a little scarysometimes, especially if you don't know many people there. But don't worry, I'm here to help! The first thing you need to do is be brave and friendly. I know it can be hard to walk up to someone you don't know and start talking, but that's the only way to make new friends! Try smiling at people and saying "hi!" in a happy voice. Chances are, they'll smile back and say hi too.Once you've said hi, you can ask them their name and tell them yours. For example, "Hi, my name is Tommy, what's yours?" Then you can ask them some questions to get to know them better, like where they go to school, what grade they're in, or what kind of things they like to do for fun.Another good idea is to compliment them on something, like their cool shirt or their nice hairstyle. People always seem to like compliments! You could say something like "Hey, I really like your Spider-Man t-shirt! He's my favorite superhero too."It's also really important to be a good listener. When the other person is talking, look at them, nod your head, and let them finish before you start talking again. Nobody likes being interrupted! Ask them follow-up questions about what they're saying to show you're interested. If there's music or games or activities at the party, you could ask the new person if they want to dance or play together. Doing stuff together is a great way to become better friends. Just don't be a poor sport if you lose a game - nobody likes a sore loser!Oh, and remember to smile and have fun! Laughing and joking around is contagious, plus it makes people want to hang out with you more. You could tell a silly joke like "What kind of shoes do frogs wear? Croak-ers!"But what if the other person isn't very talkative or seems shy? Don't give up! Try asking them questions that just need a yes or no answer at first, until they feel more comfortable. You could ask if they like a certain game, sport, TV show or food. Pretty soon they'll hopefully start opening up.If you happen to see someone at the party who looks lonely or left out, why not go over and introduce yourself? I'm sure they'd really appreciate having someone to talk to. You never know, they could end up becoming your new best friend!Making friends can be a little scary, but it's also really rewarding. Having good friends makes life more fun and exciting. So next time you're at a party, take a deep breath, put on a big smile, and go introduce yourself to someone new. Who knows what amazing new friends you might make?Well, that's all the tips I have for now. Let me know if you have any other questions! Making friends is one of my favorite things to do. Thanks for reading, and happy friend-making!Word count: 2010。

1.I am going to do (do) my homework tonight.
2.We are going to water (water) the flowers this afternoon. 3.He is going to buy (buy) a CD next Saturday.
Some useful drills that we learned in the text to talk about the party.
Would you like to do sth.? Shall we do sth.? What about sth./doing sth.? How about sth. /doing sth.? Let’s do sth. , shall we? What shall I bring?
Will you be busy today ? 你今晚忙吗? 有时有表示将来时间的状语,有时没有时间状语,这时要从意思上 判断是否指未来的动作或情况: I’ll think it over . 我想一想. We’ll only stay for two weeks.我们只待两个星期.
