1.ago与before
ago “以前”，指“自今……前”，时间从此刻起，常与过去时连用。

before “以前”，指“自过去……前”，时间从过去某一时刻起，还可以泛指“以前”，常与完成时连用。

eg: I met him three days ago. 我三天前见过他。

I said I had met him three days before. 我说我三天前见过他。

I have never seen him before. 我以前从未见过他。

before 后接“时间点”，可用于任何时态。

2.one of “……其中之一”，后面接可数名词复数，谓语动词用单数形式。
