首先，按照设备的安全操作规程正确的操作设备;在确保设备安全运行的前提下，做到“三好、四会”;其次，通过学习，掌握乃至精通设备的加工范围、能力，发挥设备的各项性能，按照既定的加工工艺(编制合理的加工程序)，满足零件的图纸质要求，并交验。
量的考虑，主要在于工艺的合理、辅助工作时间，以及个人操作的熟悉程度和养成良好的工作习惯。
如公司要求的定置管理就非常重要。
总之，保质保量是公司质量方针得以实现的最最基础的保证，而品质综合了质量相关的各个层面，是包含了企业或公司文化的质量，品质意味着精工。
