作为小学英语教师,我们应让学生快乐地学习,让学生在英语学习中乐而忘返。
那么,该如何引导学生快乐学习呢?一、激情引路,点燃学习热情“人的头脑不是一个被填满的容器,而是一支需要被点燃的火把。
”教师就是这支火把。
在英语教学中,要想让学生学得愉快主动,并从中获得乐趣,英语教师的情绪状态,或者说精神面貌,对学生的影响至关重要。
走近课堂之前,教师要调整好自己的心态,带着微笑,带着童心,走近学生,用发自内心的积极的教学情感感染学生,犹如让学生服用了兴奋剂,使他们自始自终兴致盎然。

【摘要】音标就是英语的拼音,只要学生熟练掌握了音标这个有力的工具,那么他们就可以自己通过字词典来学习英语单词,阅读、朗读英语文章,排除生字生词带来的学习障碍,从而减轻学生学习英语的困难程度,进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生学习英语的速度和效率,提高学生的自主学习性。
本文就分析了学生不能学习好的原因,并探讨了改进的策略。

自从2004年大学毕业,从事教育教学工作以来,所面临的一个突出的难题就是英语音标的教学尤其是取消掉5个语音单选题之后,很多老师放松甚至放弃了英标教学,而导致的后果就是学生不敢发音,不会发音,甚至学不懂,厌学,对英语逐渐失去了兴趣,成为了薄弱学科,而这一切我认为都在于音标教学的不成功,从英语学习之始就先天不足!我认为产生这种结果的原因主要有三。
一是老师水平有限,对于音标的掌握不到位。
这样在教学过程中就不可能清晰准确地发音并教会学生,更不用说给学生纠错了。
而这也是目前教育大环境下难以避免的,毕竟除了各市的中学没有哪个本科生尤其是一本的师范生愿意进入县级或者乡镇级学校就业,这也导致了整个地区中小学音标教学的缺失。
二是对于音标的重要性认识不够。
在很多的英语教师特别是毕
业班的教师眼中音标从来就是可有可无的东西,重点应该是单词、语法、语言点、知识点、考点等等所谓实用的东西,再加上历年中考高考题,这些就足以保证学生能够得高分,能够上好学校,自己的任务就完成了。
其实不然,在学生中有很多是一开始就对英语非常感兴趣的孩子,只不过后来越学越觉得英语就是枯燥地背单词、知识点、考点,而渐渐失去了学好英语的动机,甚至很多人的英语成为了瘸腿科目。
三是对于英语的重要性以及学生的终身性学习认识不够,缺乏长远目光,只是瞄准了升学考试,那么学生即使得了高分进了大学就一定会有一个好的将来吗?我看未必!大学中要进行四六级考试或英语专业四级八级考试,就目前的考试发展状态来看,考查的重点也在逐渐偏向于能力,逐年在增加对听说读写四项基本技能的考查,比如听力、翻译、应用文写作。
非英语专业的学生在大学中自学而音标知识缺失的话那会是很大的一个短板,对于词汇量的扩充,学习有效性的提升都有很大影响。
而且毕业后找工作目前来看四六级证还是很有帮助的东西,有的单位对于这些的限定还是很严格的,即使得到了工作,在以后的工作中你将还会面对职称英语的考试;而继续深造的话,考研还是要考英语。
那么学习音标对与英语学习有什么帮助呢?为什么要强调音标的学习呢?其实大家或许已知道了学习英语音标的益处,但在此,我还是想单独拿出来做进一步的说明,让在英语学习方面比较苦恼的家长和学生能充分认识到英语音标学习的重要性。
学好英语音
标,优势有以下几点:
(1)音标教学可以帮助学生预习生词、提高学生读准单词的能力。
不能掌握音标,学生对单词的预习只能依赖教师,学习缺乏主动性。
一些学习工具虽然有一定的帮助作用,但效果不一定好。
掌握音标后,学生可以自主朗读,既增强了趣味性,也避免了常见的“哑巴英语”,提高了学生预习的积极性。
更重要的是学会了48个国际音标可以使学生纯正地发音,为以后的学习打好基础。
要会说英语不难,难得是如何发音准确。
音标的学习就可以很从容的解决该问题。
(2)通过英语音标记单词是快速记背单词的最有效的一种方法。
和汉语这种表意的文字不同的是,英语是表音文字,很多单词符合读音规则。
学生如果有了音标和拼读知识,可尽快牢记单词,并能通过发音的规律,联想记忆更多的单词。
如果学生熟练掌握了英语音标的发音规律,可以达到“见其形读其音,听其音写其形”,具备了这种能力,可极大地减少学生在高年级时的英语单词记背任务。
学好音标,某种程度上来说,对积累词汇起着决定性作用。
学生看到一个陌生的单词,通过音标就能准确拼读,从而达到有效的记忆单词,慢慢产生学英语的兴趣,这才是必经之路。
反过来说,拼写单词有的时候提笔就忘,我们也可以利用正确的发音自己恢复单词的拼写。
那我们的词汇量也在这一正一反中得到很好的积累了。
单词是学生学习英语的立身之本,没有一定的单词量,后期的英语学习就无法继续。
(3)让学生学习英语之初就准确地掌握了英语正确的发音,为以后口语学习打好基础。
学习英语音标可较早地培养学生的语感。
学好音标,还可以让我们告别先前以读、写为主的哑巴英语。
规范了发音,掌握了地道的口语,自信心自然提高,不必再担心说出来的英文会招人笑,口难开了。
听不懂,说不出是中国英语学习者面临的最大问题。
追根溯源,不能正确朗读单词是一个重要的原因,而音标的学习正是解决问题的根本保证。
相当多的学生对英语学习没有兴趣,都是因为不能读,听单词,音标教学解决了这一问题,也挽救了学生的学习兴趣,增强了他们的自信心和主观能动性。
(4)提高学生的听力能力。
为什么这样说呢?很多学生的情况表明,他们的考试听力部分是很容易失分的地方。
稍微出现几个连读或者是快读,就很明显的要出现长时间的考虑和停顿。
很多人事后会说,我听都没有听到它就过去了;太快了,我都不知道它在讲什么。
音标掌握的很好的同学在这方面就会稍高一筹。
正确的发音可以解决很多做挺立时的不利因素。
也提高了应试的能力。
音标是英语的拼音,只要学生熟练掌握了音标这个有力的工具,那么他们就可以自己通过字词典来学习英语单词,阅读、朗读英语文章,排除生字生词带来的学习障碍,从而减轻学生学习英语的困难程度,进一步激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生学习英语的速度和效率,提高学生的自主学习性,以前的学生在没有学习音标之前,都是很依赖老师。
条件好的学生会借助于很多文曲星之类的学习工具。
没有老师他们就显得很被动。
学会了音标可以解决很多事
情,更使他们的学习更主动有效。
