《高等学校英语应用能力考试》（A级）监考须知（宣读）1、请考生按照座位上的准考证号坐好，把准考证、身份证和学生证放在座位左上角。
本次考试时间为连续120分钟，即上午9：00正式开始，11∶00结束。
2、考试全过程中，即9∶00至11∶00，考生不得中途退场。
当监考宣布考试结束后，考生仍旧坐在座位上，待监考人员收卷清点完毕后，考生方可离开考场。
3、请严格遵守纪律，不可以冒名顶替，不允许任何作弊行为，一经发现即取消考试资格。

3)综合测试 综合测试（Integrated Testing阐试考生在各个层面上的语言理
解能力及语言能力。综合测试部分共25题，所占分值比例为15％。其 中完形填空占10%，篇章问答或句子翻译占5％。考试时间为20分钟。 完型填空（Cloze）部分采用多项选择题的形式进行考核。这部分测 试采用一篇200词左右的短文，短文有20个空白，空白处所删去的词 既有实词也有虚词，每个空白为一题，每题有四个选择项。要求考生 选择一个最佳答案，使短文的意思和结构恢复完整。篇章问答（ Short Answer Questions）部分采用简短问答的方式进行考核。这部 份采用一篇300词左右的短文。短文后有5个问题或不完整的句子，要 求考生根据对文章的理解用最简短的表述（少于10个词）回答问题或 完成句子。 • 句子翻译（Translation）部分为汉译英，共5个句子，一句一题 ，句长为10～15词，句中的一部分己用英文给出，要求考生根据全句 意思将汉语部分译成英语。翻译须符合英语的语法结构和表达习惯， 要求用词准确。

三、大学英语三级考核的语言技能及要求
• 5．关于词汇和语法结构 • 大学英语三级考试中，词汇和语法知识将融入各部分试题中，不再
单独列项考核。要达到大学英语三级考试所考核的各项技能要求，考 生掌握的词汇量应达到 3742个。

命题的材料均选自英文原版材料，包括日常生活中的对话、讲
座、广播、节目、报纸、杂志、书籍、学术期刊等。选材的原则是：
