1.1 光纤收发器的作用。

这里说的1光2电呢,就是这个光纤收发器有一个光口和两个电口。

这就好比一个岔路口,一个光口进来的数据,可以通过两个不同的电口分送到不同的目的地。
二、连接前的准备。
2.1 设备检查。
在连接之前啊,咱们得像检查宝贝一样检查一下这些设备。
先看看光纤收发器有没有损坏,外壳有没有裂缝之类的。
再瞅瞅光口和电口,可不能有堵塞或者变形的情况。

3.1 光口连接。

3.2 电口连接。
接着就是电口连接啦。
把准备好的网线,一头插到光纤收发器的电口上,另一头插到要连接的电口设备上,比如电脑的网卡接口或者交换机的接口。
这两个电口可以连接不同的设备,就像给两个不同的小伙伴送礼物一样,各自送到各自的手里。
连接的时候要听到“咔哒”一声,这表示插好了,就像锁门的时候听到锁扣上的声音一样,心里才踏实。

一、FT3-CFE-AAAHB卡式光纤收发器1.1.110/100M自适应光纤收发器业务盘(FT3-FE)FT3-FE业务盘是GFT2000的插卡式用户盘之一。
主要完成电口以太网到光口以太网的媒质转换。
电口提供10/100M以太网接口,光口100M全双工模式。
1.1.1.1FT3-FE前面板图5-12 FT3-FE面板1.1.1.2指示灯说明1.1.1.3FT3-FE拨码开关FT3-FE的可以通过拨码开关S1对以太网电口进行设置图5-13 拨码开关位置拨码开关含义□AutoEn/ AutoDis 拨到OFF时FT3-FE与连接设备通过自动协商确定速率和全半双工,此时开关2,3位无效。
当AutoEn/ AutoDis 拨到ON时通过2,3位开关确定FT3-FE的速率和全半双工。
□Full/Half设置以太网电接口的全双工□100M/10M设置以太网电接口的速率□Soft/ Hard拨到OFF时以太网电接口由网管软件配置,Soft/ Hard拨到ON时以太网电接口由第1-3位拨码开关配置。
注意:对于非网管型的FT3-FE第4位开关无效,以太网电接口的设置由第1-3位拨码开关配置。
拨码开关速查表1.1.1.4光接口安装FT3-FE的光口有双纤双向工作方式和单纤双向工作方式两种不同的光口,其连接方式略有不同。
双纤双向工作时,采用SC方式,其中,TX:光信号输出口;RX: 光信号输入口。
输入输出光纤不能接反,否则设备无常工作。
单纤双向工作时,采用SC直出方式,两端设备均应将光纤连接在标识为“TX”的光接口上,“RX”接口无效。
FT3-FE光接口为SC连接口。
安装时先拧下SC接口上的塑料保护帽,然后按SC接口下标注“TX”和“RX”连接相应的光纤,输入输出光纤不能接反。
光纤接头应保持清洁,否则会引入衰耗,影响设备传输距离。
如果传输光纤接头有污物,可用干净的棉花蘸无水乙醇擦拭。
注:激光对眼睛会造成伤害,安装设备时请不要正视光口和光纤插头。

2电口光纤收发器使用说明书一、产品概述光纤收发器是一种将以太网电信号转换成光信号或光信号转换成以太网电信号的光电转换设备,通过将电信号转换为光信号在多模或单模光纤上传输,突破了电缆传输距离短的限制,使得以太网在保证高带宽传输的前提下,利用光线收发器构造网络能够节省网络投资。
使用光纤收发器是目前在网络设备价格昂贵的情况下,一种符合网络现状的良好的远距离传输解决方案。

This Media Converter Complies with IEEE802.3 Standards. It is designed to Convert data signal between 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX fast Ethernet. The media converter is connected between Fiber cable and twisted cable segments with network operating smoothly. This converter can be used as a standalone unit or asa slide-in module to the 14 converter rack.

5.Installing the Converter
For as a standalone unit
a)Verify the AC-DC adapter conforms to your country
AC Power requirement and insert the power plug
b)Connect the media cable for network connection
for as a slide-in unit
c)The slide-in Media Converter and Converter Rack
should be supplied only form the same source, both
Media Converter and Rack are built to match each
other at dimensions, DC jack, DC receptacle and
power safely
d)Turn off the 19” converter rack power
e)Ensure that there is no activity in the network
f)Locate +5VDC power jack on converter back,
carefully slide in and plug to 19” rack +5VDC
power receptacle
g)Connect the media cable for network connection
h)Turn on the converter rack power , the Power LED
will light up
6.Cable Connection Parameter
100Base-X network allows 512-bit time delay between any two node stations in a collision domain. The overall Bit-time
of TP/Fiber wires and devices must be within 512bit in a segment. You may use a switch to break up collision domain and extend the cabling distance.
