1、Warm-up
(1)请同学观察事先准备的字母卡片，注意字母的大小写及占格。
(2)说出以该字母开头的地名单词。
(3)用句型This is…练习说话。
2、Presentation
（1）设立情景：
T: Hi．Nice to meet you．S: Hello．Nice to see you again．)
（2）教师指着一个学生介绍：
T: This is my new friend．She's from America．
教师示范朗读，学生跟读模仿friend一词的发音。
（3）学习对话（借助课文插图）。
（4）学习本课新单词：China，America，England，（教师准备三个国家的国旗）
（5）请学生说出自己喜欢的好朋友，并向全班同学做介绍：
This is my good friend．She／He is from…以达到掌握这些句型的目的。
引导学生发挥想象力，说说这些字母分别象什么，鼓励学生大胆
想象。
3 、Practice
（1）自制卡片。
学生把自己姓名、家乡地名或以这五个字母开头的地
名写在卡片上，进行问答练习：Where are you from? I'm from A…字母Aa开始的地名：America，Asia亚洲，Africa非洲，Australia澳大利亚
字母Bb开始的地名：Beijing
字母Cc开始的地名：China，Canada
字母Dd开始的地名：Dalian
字母Ee开始的地名：England
(2)象形游戏。
教师说出字母名称，学生用身体组成字母形状最像，也
可叫学生判断。
4. Assessment
1、完成活动手册的内容。
2、教师应引导学生在真实的情景中学会说：This is my new friend．I'm from……并在有趣的活动中认识本课要求的三个单词。
(1) 学会向他人介绍自己的朋友。
(2) 学生看图说出三个生词(China，America，England)。
(3) 听单词找图，提高学生的听力和看图说话能力，以掌握所学内容。
(4) 不看图认读单词，检查学生的认读能力。
5.Additional activities

(2)能力目标：能用简单的句子描述自己的家,如：“This is my home.……”(3)情感目标：初步培养学生对家的热爱。

2.本课时的难点是能够理解对话中出现的新时态和指点路线的新语言，如：What are you going to do after school? Get off at the cinema .Then walk straight for three minutes.三、说教法新课程倡导任务型的教学模式，让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与、合作等方式，实现任务的目标，感受成功。
在学习过程中进行情感和策略调整，以形成积极的学习态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高。
同时英语课程要面向全体学生，注重素质教育，要关注每个学生的情感，激发他们学习英语的兴趣，帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心，使他们在学习的过程中发展综合语言运用能力，提高人文素养，培养创新精神。
基于以上认识，我以新课程为指导，以学生为主体，让学生通过游戏、对话、思考，观察等来体验语言，体验生活，体验学习的过程与快乐。

通过呈现地图创设问路情境，让学生在形象的语言环境中学习、运用新知。
