对于购物这个主题从一年级开始，教材中就有所涉及，学生通过前四年的学习已经掌握了coat, dress, shirt, jacket等服装名称的名词，lace, bow，flower等服装装饰品的名词，以及描述服装特征的pretty, lovely, useful, convenient 等形容词的听说和读写，为本课的学习奠定了学习基础。
从内容上看，所涉及的人物、活动众多，教师应分层设计活动帮助学生理解，掌握课文内容。
首先，从视听入手，让学生整体感知课文内容。
然后指导学生阅读，通过问答的形式加强学生的口语练习。
于都后阶段是真实运用语篇的重要环节。
通过同学间的对话表演来训练他们的口语表达能力。
通过对后面的小故事使学生将所学的语言得到有效延伸。
根据课程标准对本节课的要求，针对小学生的心理特点和认知水平，结合教材，本着面向全体学生，基于学全面发展的原则，确定本节课的教学目标。

他们能描述什么天气需要穿什么衣服，谈论自己对服饰的喜好，并能就“购物”这一话题开展简单的对话。

从话题上看，前几册教材已涉及了拥有什么服饰以及需要什么服饰的话题，本单元进一步延伸到购买服装的话题。
本单元教学设计将以服饰的分类作为切入点创设情境，让学生对Clothes这一主题有更系统全面的认识。
从知识点上看，Look and learn的核心词汇在前几册教材中已多次出现，考虑到学有余力的孩子，可补充四个常见的服饰词汇：jacket,jeans,sandals，boots。
本单元的核心句型是Which(pair of)..…do you like,the ..one or the ..one?选择疑问句在以前已出现过，为了丰富学生的语言，将结合本册第二单元的核心句型Why do you like it?Because..让学生进一步从颜色、款式、触感和价格等方面描述喜欢的原因，提高综合语言运用能力。
从内容上看，Listen and say 的对话涉及购买衣服的喜好。
我们将在原文基础上进行文本再构，让学生了解完整的服装购买流程，尽量接近现实生活中的语言使用情况。
