This standard specifies the type classification and basic parameterstechnical requirementtest methodsinspection rulesmarkingpackagingtransport and storage of

general-purpose bridge cranes with a rated capacity of 3.2 t-320 t.

This standard is applicable to the general-purpose bridge cranes(hereinafter referred to as “cranes”) in service in the common working conditionswith hooksgrabs or magnets (magnetic pads) as their load-lifting attachmentsor two or three of the aforesaid means used simultaneously.

For general-purpose bridge cranes with a rated capacity over 320 t or the identical parts of other bridge cranesthis standard may also be referenced.

This standard is not applicable to cranes in service in the following conditions:

-in the presence of inflammableexplosive or combustible gasdust and corrosive gas; -in the presence of nuclear radiationtoxic gas.
