《典范英语》（5a-L8）教学参考The Golden Touch教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架，帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。
课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整，将实验课上出特色。
一、教学目标1. 语言能力目标：学生能够听懂录音；能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事；能够理解故事情节；能够根据脉络图复述故事；能够在讨论中积极发表自己的观点；能够仿写或改写故事。
2. 非语言能力目标：通过讨论引导学生认识到贪婪的后果；培养学生大胆表达自己想法的自信和勇气。
二、课时安排每周不少于两课时，1-2个课时完成一个故事。
要求学生课前反复听录音跟读。
三、教师要求1. 教师课前须熟读故事，了解相关文化背景:点金术（The Golden Touch）希腊神话故事中，酒神Dionysus的老师Silenus醉倒在佛里吉亚国王Midas 的玫瑰园里。
Midas发现后，款待他十天十夜并把他送回Dionysus处。
Dionysus 问Midas想要什么回报，Midas回答：“请把我触摸到的一切都变成金子。
”愿望成真。
但变成金子的不仅仅是石块、花朵和屋内的陈设，甚至包括他的食物和水。
不久后，Midas饥饿难耐，恳求Dionysus解除这一愿望。
Dionysus让Midas 前往帕克托罗斯河（River Pactolus）洗澡。
Midas照做，碰到水面时，点金术的力量就转移到了河水里。
从此，帕克托罗斯河的沙子因含金而闪闪发光。
2. 对于较难的单词，教师可板书，并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。
3. 全英文授课。
四、教学用具多媒体设备、CD机、课件（课题组提供）、故事图片及句卡（见情节分析环节）。
五、课堂教学基本步骤1. 导入（Lead-in）：谈论愿望，引入故事通过展示图片引出关于许愿的讨论，激发学生的兴趣，为进入故事做铺垫。
教师在PPT上展示一张天使的图片，提问：What can you see in the picture?What would you do if you met an angel?Would you make a wish?What wish would you make? （请学生自由回答）学生回答后，进入看图讲故事环节：Kipper made a wish in the story. 本课的主题是a camping trip，教学对象为五年级学生。
本节课的教学内容既涉及学生在三、四、五年级学过的有关物品的单词，又涉及了表示“有”的说法。
根据学习内容和学生情况，采用了以旧带新引入新知识的教学策略，并以新旧知识的整合作为本课的落脚点，以帮助学生在学习过程中不断扩展和丰富语言知识，组增强学生的交际能力。
