Grammar(一) 一般现在时的用法1) 表示习惯性或经常性的动作或状态。

常与下列表示次数的频率副词连用: often, usually,always, sometimes, seldom, every day (week, year, night), once a week等。

2)客观真理,事实3)谚语,名言警句4)主语现在的状态或特征,身份。

5)主语的性格,爱好,特长。

6)在由when,while,before,after,until, as soon as, once, the moment引导的时间状语从句,if,unless引导的条件状语从句和even if, whoever,whatever, whenever,wherever,whoever引导的让步状语从句中,从句一般用现在时表将来。

7)表示按时刻表上将要发生的事情,通常是不会轻易改变的事情,只限于这些动词:come,go,start,leave,begin,return…①We will have an exam when we finish the textbook.我们学完课本后将会进行一次测试。

②I will tell him that as soon as I see him.我一见到他就会告诉他那件事。

③We have to wait here before he come.(二)现在进行时的用法1.现在进行时就是表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作:I'm doing my homework now.2.谓语表达形式是:be+现在分词I am playing basketball now.3.时间状语主要有now;Look!或listen!也可以判断此句可能会用现在进行时。

如:Now she is having breakfast.Listen! Someone is singing over there.4.一般疑问句,就是把系动词be调到句首即可; 特殊疑问句就是疑问词加上一般疑问句。

Module1 单元语法详解现在时态、以-ing和-ed结尾的形容词一、一般现在时一般现在时是表示通常性、规律性、习惯性、真理性的状态或者动作(有时间规律发生的事件) 的一种时态。

例1 (2017北京, 33) People (have) better access to health care than they used to, and they're living longer as a result.答案have句意:相比以前,人们(现在) 能得到更好的医疗保健,因此他们的寿命更长一些。

本题考查动词的时态。

根据题干中的than they used to可知,这是在比较过去和现在的医疗状况,所以设空处应用一般现在时。

1. 表示习惯性的、现在反复出现的动作或状态。

I usually go to bed at nine. 我通常9点钟睡觉。

He writes to his parents once a month. 他每个月给父母写一封信。

注意:这类句子中的常用时间状语有:always、often、sometimes、every day、now and then等。

例2 (2017江苏, 31) He's been informed that he (not qualify) for the scholarship because of his academic background.答案doesn't qualify句意:他被告知由于他的学术背景,他没有资格获得奖学金。

本题考查动词的时态。

根据语境可知,宾语从句中陈述的是现在的情况,故用一般现在时态。

2. 表示主语现在的特征、性格和发生、存在于说话时的感觉、状态等。

The job calls for great patience. 这项工作需要很大的耐心。

例3 (2017天津,6) Nowadays, cycling, along with jogging and swimming, (regard) as one of the best all-round forms of exercise.答案is regarded句意:现今,与慢跑和游泳一起,骑自行车运动被视为最好的、全面的运动形式之一。
