三、存在的问题及原因分析1、缺乏自信心。
学生要很好地记忆单词，信心是保证。
当学生满怀自信心和激情去做某件事时，他就会做得很好。
信心需要自己的不断努力，同时也离不开老师的鼓励。
2、对记忆单词的挑战性缺乏足够的心理准备。
学生在一开始记忆单词的效果是很好的，但随着学习任务的加重和单词量的越来越大，其记忆效果大不如前。
究其原因，学生对单词记忆的困难估计不足，缺乏心理准备，当遇到一些困难时容易丧失信心。
3、记忆方法不科学。
在学生的潜意识中，背单词就和小学背诵古诗文一样，要靠“死记硬背”，背诵古诗文固然如此，但背单词却有不同。
所以很多同学就会养成光动嘴不动手的习惯，殊不知，英语单词的记忆要调动各个器官，尤其是嘴，手，眼，脑。
唯其如此，单词才能较快记住。
4、巩固不到位。
相当一部分同学认为，单词记下了就等于单词记牢了，这是一种错误的认识，也是违背遗忘的一般规律的。
德国心理学家艾宾浩斯研究发现，遗忘在学习之后立即开始，而且遗忘的进程并不是均匀的。
最初遗忘速度很快，以后逐渐缓慢。
他认为"保持和遗忘是时间的函数"，要让单词记得牢，重复记忆是必不可少的组成部分，只有做大量反复的刺激，单词才能记得住且记得牢。

自建校以来，在领导及全体教职员工的共同努力下，学校在各个方面都取得了跨越式发展。
为了进一步提高英语课堂教学质量，提高英语教学成绩，在学校领导的大力支持下，该校英语教研组对英语课堂教学状况进入了一次深入的调查，具体情况如下
一、调查的目的和意义。
目的：了解同学们英语学习普遍存在的问题及相关的情况，了解学生对教学质量的评价和意见。
意义：帮助教师改进教学，提高教学质量，为教学管理提供决策依据，进而为改进课堂教学提供重要的参考资料
二、调查对象。
某中学七xxx三个年级共三十个班级的1800名在校学生
三、调查的时间和地点。
四、调查方式。
本次调查采取的是问卷调查。
学生问卷发放是在班会时间统一发放，并当场收回的形式。
全校共发出调查问卷1800份，收回1780份，回收率达98、88%。
五、调查内容
主要调查了学生对于教师的教学态度，教学方式，教学内容和师生关系等。
问卷共向学生提出了30个选择题。
六：调查结果及分析
本人就问卷调查结果统计如下表，并分块进行分析，进而找出其存在的问题。
教学态度
我们重点来看第1题和第3小题。
第1题提到在英语课堂教学中教师的主要目的是什么的问题，大部分学生选择了B和c选项，百分比分别为39、6%和52%，说明在教学活动中，教师对于教学目的还是把握的很准确的，这说明在大的方面，方向是对的，我们要对自己有足够的信心。
第3小题是说平时英语教师在组织教学方面，大部分学生选择的是c和D，比率分别为20、7%和50、2%，即c教学环节不完善，漏洞较多，出现大块的空白时间，、教学环节无计划，时间安排不当。
这就说明了我们存在的问题是在课堂教学组织环节上。
课堂是主阵地，失去了课堂意味着
绝对的失败，这为我们今后的教学提出了最关键也最重要的要求，就是要从课堂上下功夫。
教学方式
我们重点来看第9小题和第10小题。
第9小题为平时英语教师在教学方法的使用方面，选择较多的是c项，即教学方法单一，以教师的讲授为主，照本宣科，分值占41、9%。
这说明我们在教学方法方面还是缺乏，不能灵活运用教学方法，不能充分调动学生学习的积极性。
第10小题为平时英语教师在教学手段方面，很多学生选择的为D，即不合理的使用多媒体辅助教学，滥用。
每个英语老师都备有各种教学，包括习题等，尤其是《英语周报》的，人手一份。
教学资源虽然丰富，但不一定要全用，滥用不但不会解决传统课堂教学中存在的问题，而且会让教师失去教学能力，使学生失去听的兴趣。
教学内容
第16小题。
你认为平时教师在教学内容的选择方面，选择c的概率为46、6%，即讲授内容和举例陈旧，脱离实际生活，枯燥无味，几乎占了一般的学生。
市直二的英语教师多为从事教育工作多年的教师，虽然很敬业，但也许可能是工作繁忙，没有时间和精力接受新思想，新知识。
第18小题为：你认为平时
教师在指导学生学习活动方面，选择c的有37、5%，答案为主要关注学生的个体学习状态，不太注重开展合作学习。
这实际上再次说明了要进行教学组织形式的改革，小组互助迫在眉睫。
第23小题是：在课堂教学中，教师们对于教学实例或例题的选择问题，部分学生选择了B，即一般情况下选择课本上的例题，偶尔加入一些精彩的例题，比率为36%，虽然所占比率不高，但在这个问题上，应该还是较高的。
再次说明了教师教学方法的陈旧，教师知识的陈旧。
第26小题为：老师在自习课上进行辅导的情况学生选择较多的为B，即经常利用自习课讲课过多的占用学生时间，比率为52、7%。
这是一个不容忽视的数字，占一半还多，说明了教师占用学生时间是个大问题。
自习课本来就是给学生独立思考问题的时间，发现自己问题的时间，补习他们的薄弱学科。
如果英语老师占用了学生太多的自习时间，不但不会提高他们的学习成绩，甚至会使他们对于英语学习产生反感，可能会适得其反的。

教师在课堂上不能充分培养学生学习的自信心，[：http:///]激励机能没有充分发挥，再次减少学生对于英语课堂的兴趣，这也是我们今后英语课堂教学中应该注意的第一个很重要的问题。
师生关系在某种程度上就决定着教学质量，希望老师们可以改正自身的观点，与学生和睦共处，共建和谐课堂，让同学们在欢笑中学习。
七、调查体会
通过这次调查，英语教研组的老师找到了很多存在的一些共性问题，这对于今后的英语教学有着极其重要的作用，同时也为改进课堂教学提供重要的参考资料。
为此，特总结出解决问题的措施和方法：
1、加强集体备课。
全面落实并贯彻小组互助的学习模式。
课堂上不能再使用传统的教学组织模式。
把课堂还给学生，让他们在课堂中充分的表现自我，展示自我。
2、及其他自己布置的教学辅助资料要有选择的利用。
除了听力材料，统一采用的小组互助学案必须使用外，其他教辅资源和材料使用的时间每节课不能超过5分钟。
3、多听多看多交流当前较流行的教学讲座。
教师要利用业余时间，其他时间，多学习新知识，新事
物，更新自己的思想，输入新鲜信息。
建议学校组织英语教师多去外地学习和交流。
4、自习课严禁任何老师以任何形式辅导学生或讲授新知识。
除了
班主任外，其他老师一律严禁进入教室。
