Xiao Tu eagerly snuggled under his soft blankets, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.Tonight's story was about a mischievous squirrel named Sammy, who loved playing pranks on his woodland friends. Sammy was always up to no good and often ended up causing trouble. One sunny day, while wandering in the forest, he stumbled upon a hidden treasure map. Excited by the prospect of discovering jewels and gold, Sammy set off on a grand adventure. As the story unfolded, Xiao Tu's imagination painted vivid pictures of Sammy's journey. He imagined the dense forest, the sparkling river, and the towering mountains that Sammy encountered along his way. With every turn of the page, Xiao Tu's little heart raced in anticipation of what would happen next.Sammy's adventure led him to a rickety old bridge that stood over a deep chasm. The only way to reach the treasure was to cross the bridge. However, the bridge was old and fragile, with missing planks and wobbly railings. Despite the danger, Sammy smirked and sprinted across the bridge, paying no heed to the warnings in his path.Xiao Tu's mom gently paused the story and asked him, "Xiao Tu, what do you think will happen to Sammy?" Xiao Tu pondered for a moment before replying, "Mom, I think Sammy will fall into the chasm because he didn't listen to the warnings." Xiao Tu's dad smiled proudly at his son's insightful answer. With the story resumed, Sammy's reckless behavior eventually caused the bridge to collapse beneath him, leaving him hanging over the abyss. His friends, who had warned him about the bridge, rushed to his aid, working together to save Sammy from his predicament. In the end, Sammy realized the importance of listening and learning from others. As the story came to a close, Xiao Tu's eyelids grew heavy, and his breathing deepened.

One day the rooster said2 to his hens, "Go into the kitchen and pick3 up the breadcrumbs from the table. Our mistress4 has gone out visiting."
The hens said, "No, no, we won't go. If our mistress

Then the rooster said, "She won't know anything about it.
Come on. She never gives us anything good."
Then the hens said once again, "No, no. Not ever6. We are
not going7 in there."
But the rooster would8 give them no peace9 until10 they finally11 got12 onto13 the table and began to eat the breadcrumbs with all their might14. Just then the mistress came15 home, quickly took16 hold of a stick17, drove18 them off19 the table and gave20 them a good beating21.
Once outside the house, the hens said to the rooster,
"Don't you see, see, see, see, see, see, see?"
The rooster laughed and said, "Didn't I know it, know it,
know it?"
And they went their way.
