亚洲冬季运动会亚洲冬季运动会(英语：Asian Winter Games)是由亚洲奥林匹克理事会主办、每四年一届的综合性洲际冬季运动会，简称亚冬会，参赛国家和地区为亚奥理事会所有会员。
1982年日本奥林匹克委员会第一次提出举办冬季亚洲运动会的想法，1986年第一届亚洲冬季运动会在日本札幌举行。
迄今为止，亚冬会共举办7届，中国的哈尔滨和长春分别于1996年和2007年举办第三届和第六届亚洲冬季运动会。
举办历史亚洲冬季运动会于1986年在日本的札幌市第一次举办，至今已经举办过7届。
其中日本举办过三届、中国举办过两届、韩国和哈萨克斯坦各举办过一届比赛。
札幌是举办过亚冬会最多的城市，最初的两届亚冬会都是在札幌举行。

第一届亚洲冬季运动会于1986年3月1日在日本的札幌(Sapporo)举行，一共有7个国家和地区的近300名运动员参加了本次亚冬会。
本次亚冬会设立了滑冰、滑雪、冬季两项、冰壶和冰球五个大项。
参赛国家和地区：中国、朝鲜、中国香港、印度、蒙古、韩国、日本。
第二届第二届亚洲冬季运动会于1990年3月9日在上届亚冬会的举办地日本的札幌(Sapporo)举行，一共有10个国家和地区的近1000名运动员参加了本次亚冬会。
参赛人数照上一届有了大幅度的提高。
本次亚冬会设立了滑冰、滑雪、冬季两项、冰壶和冰球五个大项。
最终，日本队获得18金、16银和13铜列首位，中国获9金、9银和8铜列第2位，韩国获6金、7银和8铜列第3位，朝鲜队1银4铜列第4位，蒙古队4铜列第5位。
