2.复习黑板上有关月份的单词，然后引导学生说句子，如： Teachers’ Day is in September. ×××’ s birthday is in July. It’s hot in August.3.揭示课题。
(1)教师指着黑板上的单词说：“These are the words about months.”出示 month 和months 的单词卡片，对学生提出问题：“How many months are there in a year?There are?.”通过一本日历，让学生明白 There are twelve months in a year.一句的意思。

Unit 7 Months of the Year(1) Lesson 14教学反思一、本节课的优点在小学英语教学中注重创设情景，因为情景既可以满足小学生的心理需要，引起他们的有意注意，还可以让他们从小就明白学习英语是为交际服务的；而且学生在有情景的活动中学习英语，有身临其境的感觉，能加深他们所学英语知识的印象。
本单元中“天气”是与实际生活紧密联系的，也是学生所熟悉的。
在设计过程中，我首先问孩子们“How is the weather?”,联系实际，并用动作来引导学生进行回答“It’s warm.”或“It’s hot.”关于课件，首先通过一首有关天气的歌曲吸引学生的注意力，渲染课堂气氛，让学生感受所要学习的内容是有关天气的，为下面的教学作铺垫。
其次，在教学完四季及四季的天气后，我通过询问学生“Which seasons are in spring?”来引入季节“July”和“August”，中间穿插chant:spring,spring,spring is warm. Summer,summer,summer is hot.来帮助孩子们记忆天气。
此过程中不断呈现句型”How is the weather?”做到词不离句，句不离词，贴近学生的生活实际。
《英语课程标准》提倡任务型教学。
任务型教学以任务为目标，要求学生在完成任务也就是学习过程中去建构知识，提高语言运用能力。
在新授完句型和天气时，我让孩子们听录音尝试回答问题“How is the weather in April? How is the weather in August? What do they often do in summer?”来驱动学生听音理解。
一方面对本课所学的主要单词和句型进行巩固，另一方面帮助学生尝试完成一个任务。
但是，整堂课对于“任务型”教学还有所欠缺，应加强理论学习和实际锻炼。
二、本节课的不足1.没有处理好整节课的时间，时间的掌控上稍微不足，在最后的图片呈现中略快，可是适当拓展，让孩子们说完整句“It’s in …”3.板书有些凌乱，如可以季节的用同一种颜色，月份用同一种颜色，天气用同一种颜色。

四、教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.师生互致问候。
2.师戴生日帽，全班齐唱：Happy BirthdayStep 2 Presentation(一)教学单词March, April, May, June, November, December, January ,February。
师：“Today is my birthday. My birthday is in November.”教学November。
问学生“When is your birthday ?”引导学生用“It’s in…”回答。
根据学生的回答，教师教学有关月份的单词。
(1) 教学单词November，分音节进行教学：No-vem-ber. 记忆说明：十一月的音头类似“No温”。

本课的内容是闽教版小学英语第五册Unit 7 Months of the year Lesson 13，Part 1。
新词汇有month、March、April、May、June。
新句型是What’s your favorite month？March.和When is your birthday？It’s in March.本课从生活实际出发，展开话题交际，提高学生综合语言运用能力。
授课的对象是已具有一定自主学习和探究能力的城镇五年级小学生。
二、教学目标分析
本课重点呈现新单词和新句型，学生该如何运用这些语言点进行口语交际。
根据学生现有的任知基础和本课在单元的地位和作用，确立的教学目标如下：
1.知识与技能目标：
能听、说、读、写这五个新单词。
理解和掌握2个问句及答句并运用于日常生活交际。
2.学习策略：通过师生说、生生说，自主交流体验式英语教学的一般过程与方法；感知——领悟——实践
3.情感目标：学生能积极参与、学会合作与交流；培养学生热爱大自然的积极情感。
三、教学重点、难点：
重点：听读5个新词汇和2个问句及答语。
难点：新句型在生活中的运用。
四、学习者特征分析
1．学生是城镇小学五年级的学生；
2．学生已经学习了birthday,Children’s Day, May Day和When is your birthday?等单词和句型；
3．学生思维活跃，善于和同学交流，乐于表达自己，渴望得到同学和教师的赞许；
4．学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，但是英语的听读能力还有待加强；
5．学生对于PPT 的呈现形式感到很好奇。
五、教学策略选择与设计
1．激趣策略：通过chant韵句有利于形成宽松活泼的课堂氛围，激活学生已有词汇和句型，为下文做好铺垫。
2．师生示范策略：教师通过和1～2个学生的口语交际，给全班同学的两两说话训练作示范，让学生清楚两两说话的内容和方式。
3．自主听读策略：学生通过自主听读拓展材料，在完成课标要求的基础上训练听说能力，积累和丰富英语词汇和句式。
