He is very persistent, even he can’t get the pass he still try it again and again. He is very smart, he tries to make money to survive, make a bed for himself, learn to speak fluent English by himself so he can live comfortably at the airport. He is optimistic, although there seems no hopes to get to New York, Victor lives a meaningful and happy life, he even try to pursue the girl he loves. He treasures his friendship; he would rather give up and go home than betray his friends. He is warm-hearted and he helps his friend to marry with the girl who his friend loves. He is honest, kind and he has professional skill.Because of his kindness, he helps a Russian to take the medicine home to save the Russian’s father (When I watched here, I cried.). Because of this event, everybody who works at the airport knows him. Then he gets the nickname “goat”and wins the respect of the staff at the airport. Viktor has never met the Russian before but he lies in order to help him, bravely and smartly.The life philosophies I learned from Victor are kindness, optimism and strong will. I cried several times while I was watching the movie. By the way, Steven Spielberg is one of my favorite directors. It is really impressive and it made a big influence on me. 刚看这个电影的时候，我被他在机场里因为不懂英语，在人生地不熟的环境里闹出的各种笑话逗得大笑，我开始以为这又是一个小人物凭借惊人的能力和运气逆袭的故事，然而当我随着观影的深入，我越发的觉得喜欢上了他的这种呆相。
我也渐渐的明白了，他的全部我开始不理解的东西，竟是我们不断在寻找的东西，幸福。
开始的维克多在机场里没有工作，只能依靠极为底层的活来养活自己，他为自己搭建了一个极为简陋的床，并且一直在这种环境下生存了九个月。
他一直这样卑微的生活，只是为了一个单纯又伟大的承诺，帮助他的父亲完成临终的遗愿。
为了这一目标，他只是安静的等待进入纽约的机会。
等待看起来是一件十分容易的事情，其实却在消耗着我们的信心，在一个看不见希望的环境中坚持自己原来的理想不变，在如今这个急躁的环境中是一件最难得事。
不因为别人的成败而改变自己，不因为外界的眼观而改变自己，不因为环境的艰难而改变自己，不是任何一个有信念的人都可以完成的。
能这样做的人，不仅有极为坚定的信仰，还会有自我牺牲的精神，哪怕一生都没有等来自己想要的，都不会放弃。
当然，只有他自己的坚持，也是很难完成前人没有完成的不可能的任务的。
他有这种牺牲自我的精神，不去太多计较自己的得失，自然而然的帮助了很多人。
在影片的最后，他的爱甚至感化了他原来的敌人，帮助他成功进入了纽约。

In order to realize his father's dream----getting an autograph of a musician he loved, he left his own country for The United States. But unfortunately, when he reached the airport, he was told that his country was in war and his license was invalid. This meant that he can’t enter America. So he had to live in the airport and waited. At first,
he had a lot of trouble. With time goes by, several months later, he got used to the condition. He made many friends and had a good time. He made a friend with a beautiful woman called Amelia Warren. She is an airplane assistant. Although there were a lot of men around her, a lot of men had loved her, she still felt lonely and unhappy. Because she still didn't know what she wanted and what she had been waiting for. Finally, love appeared between them, and they found that they loved each other. In the end of the film, Navorski got the permission of leaving the airport and got the autograph of the musician.
On the one hand ,I felt happy about the ending .Because the man finally could enter America and could realized his father's dream. On the other hand ,I felt sorry about the ending. Because the two persons who had been in love with each other can’t be together finally.
To be concluded, I like this film very much. The film tell us to be optimism about our life and keep our dreams alive, our dreams will come true one day, just wait.
