市英语口语等级证书考试（初级）初级简介：北京英语口语证书考试（Beijing Oral English Certificate，简称BOEC）是北京市教育委员会、北京教育考试院、北京英语口语证书培训考试领导小组在北京市率先推出的一项测评英语口语水平的考试。
该项目旨在提高首都市民的英语口语水平，以提高城市国际交往功能为主线，以营造良好的语言交流环境为重点，以学校教育为基础，以培养语言交际能力为核心。
初级要求考生具有简单的对话能力，能听、会说，适合一般交际场合和服务场合的英语会话。
参加初级口语考试的考生一般是学习过2年左右英语课程；或经过一段时间的英语强化培训；或自学了相同的内容。
考试采用利用电脑，考官和学生一对一口头交流的方式，时间5-7分钟。
此考试每年举行两次：5月和11月。
