英語老師給家長的一封信91. 9. 13. 親愛的家長您好：為了實現邁向國際化都市的願景，台北市國小英語教學於今年七月份訂立了新的課程標準，不但將實施英語教學的年段提前至一年級開始，更期望老師以多元化教學的新面貌，應用「溝通式教學法」（Communicative Approach），透過多元活動，讓孩子學會語言實際溝通技巧，並體會學習語言的樂趣。
今年的五年級英語教材，我們所採用的是何嘉仁出版的Happy English系列第五、六冊；此系列教材乃應用「溝通式教學法」（Communicative Approach），以「主題」（Topic）及「溝通功能」（Communicative Function）為編寫架構，每冊分別有八個主題單元、兩個複習單元、及一個節慶單元；每個單元主題為單元內容的核心，亦為單元內生字、會話、歌謠、韻文等教學活動相互統整之標的；並經由上述多元化教學活動，以引導學生充分練習，進而培養其英語基本溝通能力。
語言的學習需要大量的吸收與練習（Input & Output），由於每週英語上課時數僅有兩節課，故課餘的複習相當重要；教材除課本及作業本外，請家長務必督促孩子勤聽CD，作為課前預習，課後複習之必要活動，不但可以訓練聽力，亦可糾正自己的發音；此外，我們會要求學生將英語作業抄寫在聯絡簿上，請家長配合監督孩子確實完成指定的作業。

1、多听录音磁带:我们生活在汉语环境中，这对孩子们学习英语造成了一定的阻碍;而有的家长不会说英语或发音不准确，这些因素都会或多或少地影响孩子们学习英语。
因为，在家如果多放放录音磁带，人为地给孩子们造成一种英语语境，会对孩子英语学习帮助很大。
(注:在听的同时研究看着对应的课本内容，切记不要读“望天书”。
)
2、尽力模仿录音磁带:鼓励自己的孩子模仿磁带里的话语，并进行比较。
家长也可以和自己的孩子一起模仿，来一场比赛。
以活泼而有趣的方式激发孩子学习英语的兴趣。
3、听、认、读结合:所谓听、认、读结合，就是在孩子们听录音的同时能够指认出课本上相关的内容，并能模仿出比较准确
的语音语调。
家长们如果能够多抽出些时间在这个阶段陪自己的孩子养成一种“听、认、读结合”的学习方法，将会对孩子以后的学习能力培养有很大的帮助。
4、期末复习阶段中，可按照本年级制定的复习计划和复习要求对孩子进行督促和辅导，提高孩子的复习效率，使孩子在最后的期末考试中取得好成绩，英语学习能力能够切实提高。
