MCM
The Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM), hold its 31th annual competition in February 2015. 6755 teams 17 countries participated in 2014. designed to stimulate and improve problem-solving and writing skills in mathematics. Students participate as team members rather than as individuals, creating an environment for sharing knowledge and skills.

美赛参赛规则和注意事项
美赛参赛规则和注意事项比赛开始前：1、所有的参赛队必须在美国东部时间2014年2月6号（星期四）下午2点前完成注册。
此注册过程需要由指导老师完成。
2、缴费。
注册完成之后各个队伍需要缴纳100美元的报名费。
3、完成缴费后，每个参赛队伍会获得一个控制编号，获得控制编号意味着报名成功，同时控制编号是识别队伍的唯一标志。
4、在比赛前或比赛中希望更改参赛信息的，都需要通过指导老师进行更改。
5、指导老师需在完成注册和缴费之后确认队伍的相关资料，并打印含有队伍控制编号和摘要的页面，这会在准备邮包时用到。
选择参赛队成员：1、各队需要在美国东部时间2014年2月6日（星期四）晚上8点大赛开始以前选择好参赛队的队员。
一旦比赛开始，就不能增加或是改变任何一个参赛队队员。
2、每个参赛队伍最多只可由3名学生组成。
3、一个学生最多只能参加一个队伍。
4、参赛队成员必须与指导老师来自同一所学校。
比赛开始之后：1、美国东部时间2014年2月6日（星期四）晚上8点竞赛开始时，可以通过竞赛网站得到题目。
美国东部时间2014年2月6日晚7点50分，比赛题目也会同步发布于一下镜像网站：/mcm/index.html/mcm/index.html/mcm/index.html/mcm/index.html2、每个参赛队伍可以从三道赛题中任选一道。
3、参赛队准备解决方案。
参赛队可以利用任何非生命提供的数据和资料——包括计算机，软件，参考书目，网站，书籍等，但是所有引用的资料必须注明出处，如有参赛队未注明引用的内容的出处，将被取消参赛资格。
参赛队成员不允许向指导教师或者除了本团队成员以外的其他人寻求帮助或讨论问题。
与除本团队成员以外的人的任何形式的接触都是严格禁止的。
这包括通过E-mail联系、电话联系、私人交谈、通过网络聊天联络或是其他的任何问答系统，或者其他任何的交流方式。
论文构成：1、摘要摘要是 MCM 参赛论文的一个非常重要的部分。
在评卷过程中，摘要占据了相当大的比重，以至于有的时候获奖论文之所以能在众多论文中脱颖而出是因为其高质量的摘要。

This limitat ion can be overcome by “repeaters,” which pick up weak signals, amplify them, and retransmit them on a different frequency. Thus, using a repeater, low-power users (such as mobile stations) can communicate with one another in situations where direct user-to-user contact would not be possible. However, repeaters can interfere with one another unless they are far enough apart or transmit on sufficiently separated frequencies.In addition to geographical separation, the “continuous tone-coded squelch system”(CTCSS), sometimes nicknamed “private line” (PL), technology can be used to mitigate interference problems. This system associates to each repeater a separate subaudible tone that is transmitted by all users who wish to communicate through that repeater. The repeater responds only to received signals with its specific PL tone. With this system, two nearby repeaters can share the same frequency pair (for receive and transmit); so more repeaters (and hence more users) can be accommodated in a particular area.For a circular flat area of radius 40 miles radius, determine the minimum number of repeaters necessary to accommodate 1,000 simultaneous users. 2011年全国大学生英语竞赛校内通知
2011年全国大学生英语竞赛（NECCS）报名通知各院（系）：接高等学校大学外语指导委员会、外语教学研究会通知，第十二届全国大学生英语竞赛湖北省赛区初赛将于2011年4月10日在我校举办。
本次竞赛是测评全国大学生英语综合应用能力的竞赛，旨在促进大学生英语水平的全面提高，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，鼓励英语学习成绩优秀的大学生。
这项竞赛活动，既有助于学生打好英语知识基础，又可以提高综合运用英语的能力。
现将有关内容及报名注意事项通知如下：一、竞赛内容及题型竞赛内容：主要包括大学英语学习阶段应掌握的英语基础知识和读、听、说、写、译五方面的技能，特别是英语综合运用能力。
竞赛题型：初赛由全国统一命题，初赛包括笔答和听力两种方式。
笔试满分为150分（主观题占90分，客观题占60分），其中听力为30分。
二、奖励办法奖励等级分为特等奖、一等奖、二等奖、三等奖。
其中二等奖和三等奖通过初赛产生。
特等奖和一等奖通过决赛产生。
参加决赛的学生必须从参加初赛的学生中选拔，按初赛成绩确定。
获二等奖和三等奖的学生由全国竞赛组委会颁发获奖证书。
获特等奖和一等奖的学生及其指导教师由全国竞赛组委会分别颁发获奖证书和荣誉证书。
凡参加本次比赛的同学可按《湖北汽车工业学院课外学分管理办法》规定获得相应课外学分（创新学分）。
三、竞赛时间初赛将于2010年4月10日（星期日）上午9：00-12：00举行。
四、报名方法和报名费用1、参赛对象：2010年全国大学生英语竞赛分为A、B、C、D四个类别，A类考试适用于研究生参加；B类考试适用于英语专业本、专科学生参加；C类考试适用于非英语专业本科学生参加；D类考试适用于体育类和艺术类的本科生和高职高专类学生参加。
2、报名时间：2011年2月21日－2011年3月5日；3、报名费用：7元/人（其余部分由学工部和教务处支付。

美国数学建模参加注意事项
2011年美国数学建模竞赛参赛、培训和注册事项（1）参赛事项2011年美国数模竞赛将于北京时间2011年2月11日（初九）上午9点开始，至2月15日上午8点结束（必须提前一小时以上发送答卷电子邮件至solutions@，所以我们特别规定在上午8时结束）。
要求所有参赛学生参赛前都仔细阅读竞赛的规则和指南。
我校学生（包括公费和自费）参赛地点在石牌校区数学楼三楼实验室。
竞赛期间，可以在实验室过夜，但是晚上10点至早上7点期间不要出入数学楼，以免妨碍值班人员休息。
可以用数学楼三楼实验室的打印复印一体机打印所有参赛队（包括公费和自费）的答卷。
每一队要印答卷两份、印摘要页两份、印控制页一份。
其中，一份答卷上加一份摘要，钉一起；另一份答卷上加另一份摘要，再加一份控制页，钉一起。
答卷的每一页（不包含摘要和控制页）必须以页眉方式显示控制号和页码，形如：Team # 321 Page 6 of 13答卷以及摘要页不可以透露任何参赛队员和教练的个人信息。
发送电邮提交电子版，需各队自己在2月15日上午8点之前使用自己的任何电子邮箱，发送至solutions@ 。
电邮统一以COMAP 加控制号为标题，例如COMAP 2222 。
必须保证发送电邮的电子版与交给章老师的电子版和纸质版是一致的，也就是说，发送电邮以后，论文不可以做任何修改。
2月15日早上8~9点，所有参赛队都要按时前来石牌校区数学楼三楼交纸质版和电子版答卷，由章老师集中一起寄往美国。
由于需自行解决住宿问题，所以整队来自大学城的同学可自行在大学城参赛，于2月15日早晨前来石牌校区数学楼三楼交纸质版和电子版答卷。
竞赛开始后的当天，所有参赛队要登录美国赛网站，填写三名队员的信息并选择题号，完成下载摘要页、控制页的步骤。
但是，控制页和摘要页的word文档统一由章老师制作并提供给各队。
竞赛结束时，所有参赛学生务必在各队的控制页上签名和填写地址（都用英文）。
竞赛结束后的当天，所有参赛队要登录美国赛网站，完成其余的步骤。
