国内一直以来都不够十分地重视鬼怪小说，中外对之的研究论著更是稀少，虽然有论者对《搜神记》、《聊斋志异》等作品进行解读，但涉及和西方鬼比较的论著很少，或者是研究的广度和深度不够，留下研究的空白。

说起中国的鬼，女鬼给人印象最为深刻；一提及西方的鬼，最深入人心的形象当属吸血鬼。

西方学术界对吸血鬼传说进行了广泛而持久的探索，尤其将吸血鬼文学作为吸血鬼传说的重中之重，加以了系统且深入的研究。

我国虽然己经引进翻译了部分具有代表性的吸血鬼文学作品，但国内学术界仍未对这一文学类型有所关注。

女鬼的研究以对《聊斋志异》等志怪小说的论著为中心有了一定的研究基础，但涉及女鬼与吸血鬼爱情观的比较研究还很匮乏。

鉴于这种研究的现状，本文尝试从宗教文化的角度对中西方最具代表性的女鬼和吸血鬼的爱情故事为分析入口，以中国人鬼恋故事的“圣经”《聊斋志异》和西方吸血鬼经典论著《德拉库拉》、《卡密拉》、《吸血鬼编年史》等为分析范本，为读者展示一个奇幻美丽的人鬼爱情世界。
