From vampires and werewolves to ghosts and demons, these mystical beings have sparked the imagination of storytellers and artists for centuries. As for me, I have always been intrigued by the idea of supernatural creatures and the possibility of their existence. One of the most famous supernatural creatures in Western folklore is the vampire. These creatures are saidto be immortal beings who survive by feeding on the bloodof the living. The legend of Dracula, a powerful and seductive vampire, has captured the hearts and minds of people for generations. In popular culture, vampires are often depicted as charismatic and alluring, with theability to hypnotize their victims with their gaze. However, the idea of vampires is not limited to Western culture. InChina, there are also legends of blood-sucking creatures known as "jiangshi," which are reanimated corpses that hop around at night.Another supernatural creature that has captured the imagination of people around the world is the werewolf. In folklore, werewolves are humans who transform into wolves during the full moon. These creatures are often associated with primal instincts and uncontrollable rage. The idea of werewolves has been popularized in literature and film, with stories of individuals struggling to control their inner beast. In Chinese folklore, there are also tales of shapeshifting creatures known as "huli jing," or fox spirits, which have the ability to transform into beautiful women or foxes.Ghosts and spirits are another common theme in supernatural lore. In many cultures, it is believed that the spirits of the deceased can linger on earth, haunting the living or seeking closure for unresolved matters. Ghost stories have been a staple of horror literature and film, with tales of vengeful spirits and haunted placescaptivating audiences around the world. In Chinese culture, the "hungry ghost" festival is a traditional event to honor the spirits of the dead and offer them food and gifts to appease their restless souls.中文:超自然生物一直是世界各地许多人的一个迷人话题。

The hero and heroine of the Twilight Saga are a vampire boy and a human girl. This is the story about a human girl called Bella and a vampire boy called Edward. This series are based on the love of Edward and Bella, meanwhile, integrating the vampire legend, the werewolf story, campus life, horror suspense, comedy, adventure and other eye-catching element, of course, touching love is “the most intense emotions” of the books.Earlier Vampires were understood and seen are s monster. As a negative role in Western culture, people had negative impression with vampires being bloodthirsty, cruel, ugly, frightening and soon. However, in twilight saga, writer describes of another group of special vampires to us which are kind and interesting. According to the books, vampires are no longer taken as cruel monsters. The twilight saga contains four parts: twilight, new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. The Twilight Saga introduces Bella Swan, a seventeen-year-old who goes to live with her divorced father in the tiny town of Forks, Washington. Soon after arriving, Bella becomes drawn to Edward Cullen, a spectacularly attractive young man at her school, and soon learns that he and his family are vampires, though ones that feed off of wild animal blood instead of humans. Their love soon blossoms and they spend nearly all of their free time together. During one such instance, with Edward’s family present, a group of traveling vampires senses Bella’s human presence and a tracker vampire named James makes it his mission to drain Bella of her blood. The Cullens take Bella to Phoenix to avoid James’ danger, but the tracker tricks Bella into coming to him. As James is set to murder her, Edward thwarts the evil vampire’s plans, killing James in the process. The series continues with New Moon, which finds a newly-knowledgeable Bella eager to be transformed into a vampire. After an accidental paper cut triggers barely halted blood frenzy among the Cullen’s, they deem it best for Bella’s safety that they permanently depart Forks. The loss of her true love sends Bella into a multi-month depression that is only ended, though not entirely, by a powerful friendship she develops with nearby Quileute Indian and family friend, Jacob Black. Soon, she discovers that Jacob and his reservation friends are secretly werewolves, the sworn enemy of the Vampires, and that the werewolves have beenattempting to stop a string of murders by Victoria, James’ revenge-bent lover, who Bella believes, is after her. Meanwhile, when Bella’s recreational cliff-diving accident is perceived by future-seeing Alice Culle n as suicide, Edward feels responsible for Bella’s “death.” Guilt-stricken, Edward travels to Italy in order to publicly expose himself to humans in the vampire city V oltura, thereby guaranteeing his demise by the local world-revered coven, known as the V olturi. With Alice’s help, she and Bella race to Italy and barely stop Edward from completing his suicidal plan, though not before the V olturi force the Cullen’s to transform Bella into one of them as punishment for her illegal knowledge of vampire life. After a Cullen family vote approves of Bella joining their clan, Edward convinces her to wait until high school graduation and agrees to be the one to bite her if she will first marry him.In Eclipse, the series’ third installment, Victoria is still after Bella and tensions flare between the vampires and werewolves. Ever ready to become Edward’s immortal partner, Bella also experiences an increased sense of sexuality and a potential alternative in Jacob. Though Bella’s wishes of reconciliation between her two enemy friends are never realized, the sides do unite in the battle against Victoria and her army of newborn vampires, who have drawn attention to themselves with a killing spree in Seattle. The allied supernatural defense is able to destroy Victoria and her vampires, and after fully understanding that she is not meant to be with Jacob, Bella accepts Edward’s proposal of marriage, though she still remains a human.1 SynopsisIn The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second chapter in Stephanie Meyer’s phenomenally successful series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) tests fate for a glimpse of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). As she plumbs deep into the mysteries of the supernatural world that she yearns to become part of, she discovers a pair of ancient secrets that put her at more peril than ever before. Just after Bella’s 18th birthday, Edward decides to leave her behind in an effort to protect her. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year, numb and alone, she discovers she can summon Edward’s image whenever she puts herself injeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks, including a new taste for high-speed motorcycle jaunts. With the help of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), her childhood friend and a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, Bella refurbishes a motorbike for her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, who has a supernatural secret of his own. When Bella wanders alone into a meadow, she finds herself face to face with a deadly attacker. Only the intervention of a pack of extraordinarily large wolves saves her from a grisly fate and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the ancient secret of the Quileute tribe and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is quite unlike the one she had hoped for.2 Introductions of the Leading Roles in the Twilight SagaBella Gullen, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black are the main characters or the leading roles in the Twilight Saga. Other relative characters in this story are Carlisle Cullen, Esme Cullen, Alice Cullen, Emmett Cullen, Rosalie Hale, Jasper Hale and Renesmee Carlie "Nessie" Cullen. This section deals with the brief introduction of these main and relative characters of the Twilight Saga.2.1 The character of Bella GullenIsabella Marie "Bella" Swan (later Bella Cullen) is the principle and guiding character who is also the fictional protagonist of the Twilight series. The Twilight series, consisting of the novels Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, is primarily narrated from Bella's point-of-view.In Twilight, Bella moves to her father's home in Forks, Washington, meets the mysterious Cullen family, and falls in love with Edward Cullen. However, she soon discovers that the family is a coven of vampires. Bella expresses a desire to become a vampire herself, against Edward's wishes. In the second novel, New Moon, Edward and the other Cullen leave Forks in an effort to keep Bella safe from the vampire world. Jacob Black, a member of the Quileute tribe who is also a shape shifter taking a wolf form, comforts the distraught and severely depressed Bella. She comes to care deeply for Jacob, though less than she lovesEdward. In Eclipse, Bella becomes engaged to Edward, and they marry in Breaking Dawn. Edward then transforms Bella into a vampire after she nearly dies giving birth to their daughter, Renesmee. Bella has the ability to shield her mind (from mind reading, attacks, etc.), ability she's had from the beginning. But once she is transformed into a vampire, her ability is enhanced to where she can also expand her shield to protect others from mind control.2.2 The character of Edward CullenEdward Cullen (born Edward Anthony Masen) is a major character, implicated in all of the Twilight Saga films and books. As stated in the first and second novels, he was born on June 20, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois, and was frozen in his 17-year-old body while dying of the Spanish influenza, when he was changed into a vampire by Dr. Carlisle Cullen. As shown in Twilight, he only did so because Edward's dying mother, Elizabeth, begged him to save Edward. A member of the Olympic Coven, Edward only drinks animal blood and has the special ability to read minds. He falls in love with Bella soon after she arrives in Forks. Edward knows that he could kill Bella easily, a fact that torments him so much that, in the book New Moon, he decided to leave Forks with his family so they wouldn't be able to hurt her. He returned because he realized he cannot live without her. Edward marries Bella in Breaking Dawn and they have a daughter, Renesmee.2.3 The character of Jacob BlackJacob Black is Bella's best friend. He is a Quileute Native American and a werewolf. In Twilight, Jacob plays the minor role of a forgotten childhood friend of Bella's, and he develops a crush on her. In an attempt to learn more about Cullens, Bella flirts with Jacob, and he tells her tribe legends about "the cold ones", or vampires. After Edward leaves Bella in New Moon, she spends much of her time with Jacob. Though she only considers him a friend, Jacob falls in love with Bella. Although he spends most of his time in Eclipse trying to win Bella, in Breaking Dawn heimprints— an involuntary process in which a werewolf finds their soul mate— on Bella and Edward's daughter, Renesmee.2.4 Other Relative rolesCarlisle Cullen (also known as Stregone Benefico) is Esme Cullen's husband and the adoptive father of Edward, Emmett and Alice Cullen, as well as Rosalie and Jasper Hale. His first appearance was in Twilight and his physical age is 23. Carlisle is described to look like a。
