五年级学生在听说读写各方面都有一定量的积累，对于新句型的学习需要反复的操练才能够巩固。
针对本校学生的学情，我设计了以下教学过程：Ⅰ. Warm--up1. Greeting2Lead in ：Guessing game课件出示人物图片，学生根据提示图片猜人物的职业。
(设计意图：利用猜一猜的游戏，复习学过的关于职业的单词，活跃课堂气氛。
)New words & sentences相同方式教授新单词“factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer”。
并根据图片教学句型“What does he\she do?” ,引导学生回答。
(设计意图：利用猜一猜的游戏学习本课的新单词，在单词中贯穿需要学习的句型，在句中巩固单词，了解单词的运用。
在学习单词的时候，图片能让学生更直观地记忆所学单词。
)Listen and repeat出示所学单词的图片，教师播放单词录音，让学生模仿并跟读。
Read the words教师指定单词，学生一组一组地读单词。
（设计意图：先让学生模仿录音中单词的读音，然后再来检查学生是否掌握了所学单词，此时可以及时纠正学生的发音。
）Ask and answer通过课件出示职业图片，请学生根据所给的对话提示，说一说自己爸爸妈妈的职业。
（设计意图：这里设计的游戏一方面巩固了所学单词，也操练了了本课时的句型，同时也能让教师更好地了解学生的掌握情况。

三、新课呈现（Presentation）
1、教学单词或词组：factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer 。
（1）教学单词：postman
教师出示邮局的图片问： What's this ?学生回答： It's a post office.教师板书：post office。
接着教师拿出一张邮递员的图放在邮局的图上说：He's a postman.将板书中的office擦掉，加上man，构成新词postman。
最后教师用升、降调带读单词postman，引导学
生拼读记忆单词postman。
（2）教学单词：businessman
教师出示商人的图片介绍说：学生回答：No, he isn't.教师接着说：He's doing business now.教师板书并带读business，拼读记忆business。
教师再次拿出商人的图片介绍说：businessman。
教师在
板书business的基础上加上man，让学生根据教师的手势用“大小声”读单词。
教师出示女商人的图片，启发学生说单词businesswoman。
（3）教学词组：police officer
教师板书：police，提问学生：Where do you often see it?学生回
答:“警车。
”后，全班拼读记忆police。
教师继续说：Who work in the police car? The police officers work in it. 补充板书：police ，然后用升降调带读词组，并让学生拼读记忆词组。

教师出示工厂的图片，介绍说：板书：factory,用升降调带读单词，提醒学生注意单词中c的发音，接着全班拼读记忆单词factory。

（5）Say the chant:

2、活动：看道具猜职业
