本单元围绕着世界语言——英语展开。

这些话题与学生的英语学习息息相关，让人兴趣说的一个主题。
本节课是这个单元中的第三个话题Could you give us some advice on how to learn English well?围绕着英语学习策略展开，由王俊峰学英语有困难引出话题。
本课的学习任务源自真实的学习生活，语言学习（Language learning）的谈论也是《课程标准》要求学生达到的功能意念项目之一。
本课的学习也为之后的三个section英语学习策略的谈论打下了学习基础。
