Kramer vs. Kramer克莱默夫妇观后感2000字英文

Kramer vs. KramerThis is no doubt that a successful film. It released in 1979. And received the 1980 Academy Award for best film, best director and best actor and best supporting actress. This is a movie about family and marriage.Lonely wife decided to leave her busy husband. Husband began to learn how to take care of the child. 18 months later, the wife returned. She wants to regain Billy. In the climax of the story, the couple on the court in order to compete the custody of the child.I think the good role is the vey important reason that this film cans successes. Three very simple, but make up a touching story.Joanna Kramer is an ordinary housewife, but she did not want to do ordinary things. She decided to leave home, because she felt she could not stay in that family. She is a very unhappy woman. In her mind, she only has one way. I don’t know it is right or wrong, but I think Joanna must have been a long-term consideration that such a difficult decision. Joanna is a tragic figure, as she is still a brave person. After years of married life, she felt stifled and lonely. She did not want to just focus on the family life; she wants freedom and hard work. So she chose to leave, to find a new different life. The end of the movie, she finally succeeded. Yes, she was successful at work, but in the family, she failed. For the failed marriage and escape is not the solution. In my opinion, she left her husband is right, but she should not left her child. Billy was still in elementary school, he needs his mother. Even how much you are not happy, this is between you andyour husband do, nothing to do with the children. He should grow up carefree. A tragic marriage only brings harm, especially for children, and themselves.Ted seems to always busy and no time to listen to his wife. He work day and night, and thought a successful career, more money is the best gift to his family. But he did not know what the real need of his wife is. He didn’t even know the reason that his wife left him. He did not know where she was going, and did not know when she will come back. In addition to the family, he did not know his wife. This explains why Joanna to leave him. I think ted is also a tragic figure. He is not love his wife and son, he wanted to give them a better life, but does not know what they need is.But all things have a change after his wife left. Ted starts working as a mother. He began to care about his child. The beginning of things is always difficult. At the beginning, he did not know how to cook breakfast; he does not know what grade his son; he lack the patience; his cooking is too hard to eat; he and son because the food fight.Ted started to accept the fact that his wife will not come back; and also started to learn how to be a responsible father. He is no longer the day and night workaholic, he became a qualified father. To the child, he does every effort: he tells the bedtime story to Billy; he put the blanket to Billy; he began to learn how to tell the reason to Billy; he took part in Family Day events; he taught Billy ride; because the meet with teacher, he walked out on a client during a majorpresentation; because Billy was sick, he missed a deadline on theMid-Atlantic account and causing his company a great deal of embarrassment and considerable financial liability. In the movie, there are two impressive events to me. The first is Billy injured, Ted holding him ran to find the hospital. Ted is the most nervous man. He has waited at Billy’s side. The second in the end, the lawsuit with Joanna, the unfortunate unemployed Ted needs to compete for custody, he had to make compromises, he relying in 24 hours to accept a work that can’t match his actual capacity. Finally, when the courts award custody of Joanna, Ted is still looking for the last ghost of a chance. He wants to fight. But the lawyer told him, Billy must appear in court. He gave up. Because of he did not want to hurt the child.Ted becomes a real father. He is the father of the most extraordinary in life. He told us:Women can have careers and ambitions, men can also have a motherly love. He is a brave, strong and gentle father. He is not tall and not special. He even will angry if you are too noisy, and he will make mistakes in a lot of things. But he loves you so much. This is one of the most important loves of the world. The third one is Billy. There is no doubt that he is a very important role in this movie.Billy is a naughty child but also sensible. He was only seven years old. Between the parents in the end, he does not know what happened. Just one night, his mother left him. Only father take care ofhim. His father is very stupid; father did not know how to cook French toast; father’s hand always is sweaty; father always ferocious. But after the letter, he knows his mother never will come back. Although he want as brave as a real man, he still miss his mother. He remembered the brand that his mother likes; he likes the team that from mother’s hometown; he misses his mother’s gentleness. He misses his mommy so much. He does not even know why his mother to leave. Because of he was bad? Or like his father said, only because his father? But the mother has not been back. He could only wait, been waiting for. Because he was just a child, all this is that he can not be changed. In this case, he could only increasingly dependent on his father. Father assumed the responsibility of the mother. His father became an indispensable part of life. This is an opportunity for father and son closer. He loved his father. In fact, he loved his parents. Although they did not live together.Roles are very important in the movie, lines are the same, I was impressed with some lines in the movie.“How much courage does it take to walk out on your kid?”This sentence is Ted asked Joanna’s friend Marguerite. Marguerite said that Joanna is very unhappy and it took a lot of courage to walk out the door. So Ted asks this question to Marguerite. She can’t answer it.As a mother, the child is extremely important. Even if you are not satisfied with the family, you do not need to leave the children.Children need mothers. Ted can not understand Joanna’s mind, and perhaps this is the reason they can not live together. What is the main reason that Joanna must leave? Lonely? Heavy housework? The snub of your husband? Or the desire for freedom? Maybe all of them."Daddy, you've really lost a lot of weight.” "And it's all gone to your nose."This sentence is from a joke that Ted told. He said Billy noticed Ted have lost weight.During that time, Ted had to work and had to take care of Billy. Life is composed of these small details.“She didn’t leave because of you. She left because of me.”After the argument, Billy asked Ted the reason that Joanna left. After long thought, Ted knows the reason. He always imposes his own ideas to Joanna, while ignoring her real mind. He kept trying to make Joanna be a certain kind of wife that I thought she was supposed to be. But she just wasn’t like that. And Joanna wants to talk to him, but he is so busy that can’t listen.“Don’t let the bedbugs bite.”I think this is a very important word in the film.At the beginning of the film, Joanna say goodnight to Billy, and said, “Don’t let the bedbugs bite.” And in the middle of the film, Billy said the word to Ted after the argument that for the ice cream. It’s a word for love. Joanna wanted to leave Billy, but she still loves him. Billy can not understand the pressure of his father at the beginning;and then he understands.“I came here to take my son home.” “And I realized he already is home.”Joanna won that case. And she got the custody. But she did not take him. She was moved for the word that Ted said in the court. Children need stable life. And they need love. A real family is loved to keep going. In fact, all are for the kids. Joanna would like to paint the walls in the new home of the clouds, ted no appeal. They all just want to give children a good environment to reduce the harm from children parents divorced. This is love. The film received numerous awards. I think the reason is not only because the very good actor, director and actress. This movie has deep meaning. This film also reflected the problems for American middle class in 70’s. At the time, family and career has more and more conflict. More and more couples have conflicts and even divorce. This caused great harm to the child. Thus, in the film after release, many Americans are emotionally. It reflects the reality of the matter, it teaches people how to face and solve this problem. It helps people learn how to care for children, and in the child's perspective to solve the problem. At this stage are also facing this problem. Along with economic development, family and career have more and more problems. Rising divorce rate and increasing the number of single-parent families, so westarted can not care about this issue. In this film, we can see the sorrow of single-parent families, and we can feel the harm to children from divorced parents. Don’t hurt the children. They are the ties of family. The film also reflects the feminist issues. At that time, more and more American family women can not stand the life that without pursuit and meaning. They are brave to leave the family, to pursue the true meaning of life. This is the awakening of feminist consciousness. And this film also helped people to feel what true love is. I think love is the final theme of the film.Men pursue their cause, and women pursue self-awakening. They are more or less done wrong. But family and love forgive them. Love is the most important part of one’s life. In this film, Billy is the representative of love. Children love you, and he needs you. From this movie, young people will think of their parents; middle-aged people will think of their children. Everyone can find their lives in this movie. I guess this is the reason that the film won the Oscar. In fact, very common theme of the film, the story is very simple. But it is indeed a successful movie. It lets us see love in ordinary life.Film is very light, life is very heavy. Each person's life is different, but there are still common. Film is to show that the bright spot to you. In fact, most people moving are the most ordinary things.Even if your wife left you; even if your husband does not always go home; even if you lose a job; even if you want to start a new life. Please believe that you have love, everything will be fine.Movies giveus hope; and let us also learn how to face life.Marriage is not a game; the child is not a toy. Life is very ordinary, but it has the deepest love.。

内容The situation of the hero Kramer had been so serious that his wife decided to leave him as well as her beloved son because of his husband’s infinite working mission outside..However, through trial and error, he finally could build a life together with his son Billy.I think it can be a touch job to a man ascribe to that being a good parent,it has to do with constancy, patience, listening, confidence as well as love. What's more, the stereotypes of our society have forced us to think that man is naturally not a better parent than woman. But we can see that,Ted had proved that was wrong, and he eventually found that the loving relationship between Billy and him would be unshakable and eternal.....当时社会女性:Joanna,moreover,was the symbol to all of the housewives. Her behaviour had best demonstrated a woman's protest fot being neglected as a person with no right to live an independent life. And nowadays, many wives no longer spend all their time in housekeeping as well as babysitting. Not only would they struggle to find their own identity in the society, but also buildtheir career lives.......主题In my poor opinion, each family should stick to the constant heartful conversations, and all the family members should talk ot confide what have happened and what they felt in some period....'cause it's a best way to maintain our family relationship对白:you can't ruin his life twice(MR.Kramer的话)剧情发展分析The conflict and character lie in the various values of Kramer and his wife .Joanna has a high survival level that concerning about the enjoyment of life itself . This is the difference caused by the environment they grow . Kramer is a typical poor boy was born , he used his talent and hard work to win marriage , won a pretty good career. Probing into Kramer vs克莱默夫妇剧中矛盾分析

Probing into Kramer vs. Kramer from the Perspective of Conflicts Appearing in 1979, this film is an epitome of American society at that time. However, there is one thing in this film that also suits contemporary society, that is inequality of gender. The public tend to stereotype women as inferior to men in such aspects as strength, competence, and social value. What is ridiculous is that this prejudice is not rare in America where feminist is the most prevailing in the world and human rights never cease being emphasized. As far as I am concerned, there are two major conflicts throughout the film, one is the conflict between personal pursuit and family management. The Kramers are vivid examples of social people failing to balance between career and housekeeping. Mrs. Kramer, or we say Joanna, gave up her job to be a housewife for eight years. She was just like a vine twining about the tree trunk ,having no self-independence and self-esteem. As a woman of ambition and capability, she cannot stand her dream being suffocated, let alone at the cost of her sacrifices to the family being overlooked by her husband. That is why she decided to leave Ted and Billy. Speaking of Ted , absorbed in his work , he gave too little care to his wife and son. He should take some responsibility for the breakdown of the family.Another conflict is between social requirements and personal multiple roles. For Ted, he is an employee as well as a parent. Though as an employee, he is “an extremely bright guy and has got a hell of a talent”, he was let go for walking out on a client during a major presentation to protect his bullied son, and for caring for his sick son caused his missing of the deadline which resulted in his company’s embarrassment and financial loss. The society put a lot of pressure on individuals regardless of how burdened one may feel .That is the cruel part of the society and human being cannot help but face up to reality .。

The film tells the story of a divorce and its impact on everyone involved, including the couple's young son. It received the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1980.In Kramer vs. Kramer, Joanna Kramer (Meryl Streep), a Smith College graduate, is a stay-at-home mother for her son Billy (Justin Henry). Feeling confined in this role, and neglected by her husband Ted (Dustin Hoffman), Joanna leaves the marriage in order "to find herself."Ted (who has been focusing on rising in his advertising company in order to provide well for his family) is shocked by Joanna's decision and is left to raise Billy by himself. With the help of his neighbor and Joanna's friend, Margaret (Jane Alexander), Ted comes to understand why Joanna left. In the process, he becomes more invested in raising Billy than in his job (which he eventually loses).About a year and a half after leaving, Joanna returns to New York in order to claim Billy and a custody battle ensues.Kramer vs. Kramer reflected a cultural shift which occurred during the 1970s and the period of second wave feminism, when ideas about "motherhood" and "fatherhood" were changing. The film was widely praised for the way in which it gave equal weight and importance to both Joanna and Ted's points of view .BACKGROUNDWomen’s liberation movement is an important background of this movie. After The Second Sex was published in 1949, the concept of women’s liberation was born and women began to struggle for general freedom. In America, a period of female rebellion began in the 1960s. This rebellion was the largest and most widely publicized social movement of women in history. It affected women of all races and classes around the world. In this movie, Joanna, who was not satisfied with her isolated life style, chose leaving to find her own identity and become a whole person. Actually, women’s liberation is one important theme of this movie.THEMEThere are many themes covered in this movie, such as women’s liberation and children’s situation in divorced families. But what the most important is father’s love.In the latter part of this movie, when Ted and Joanna were fighting for Billy’s custody on the court, their neighbor, Margaret, was called in to give her testimony, and some of her lines are quite impressive. She said: “Joanna, things are not the same now. Ted is not the same man.You don’t know how hard he is trying. They’re beautiful together. If you could see them together, Joanna, then maybe you wouldn’t be here now. ” From Margaret’s words, we can easily tell that she was on T ed’s side, which meant she considered Ted as a good father. However, had Ted always been a good father? The answer is negative. Actually, before Joanna’s leaving, Ted was completely self-engrossed workaholic. He neglected his family, he was an inconsiderate husband, and he was an incompetent father. Fortunately, Ted was able of changing and growing, and the wife’s leaving acted as a catalyst. Growing is always painful, and T ed was no exception—he tried hard to learn to take care of Billy; he tried hard to strike a balance between work and Billy, however, he lost his job anyway. But his efforts were rewarded, because he had grown into a loving and caring father which was a symbol of maturity. Actually, the theme of father’s love was better conveyed with the help of Ted’s Growing process since the contrast makes the father’s love more moving, heart-warming and cherished. Therefore, in order to have a better understanding of the theme “father’s love”, we are going to study Ted’s growing process more closely. First, I want to show you several groups of interesting contrast. The day after Joanna’s leaving, Ted and Billy had breakfast together. And it was totally a mess. Ted hadn’t taken in the fact that Joanna had left, and he did not know what he was doing. When he screwed it, he couldn’t hold his anger anymore; his emotion erupted as he shouted: “Damn it! Damn her! ” and I guess Billy must have been totally confused and scared. Whi le in the end of this movie, when Billy was leaving, they had another breakfast together, but this one was completely different. Although most of the time, they were both silent, they cooperated with each other and everything was in order; they looked at each other and smiled; they hugged each other, both the father and the son with tears in their eyes. All these acts were filled with the love that had been growing between them, and we can actually feel how deep it was. Another contrast is about sending Bil ly to school. The day after Joanna’s leaving, Ted had to send Billy to school. Apparently, Ted had never done this before; maybe this was the first time for him to show any care about Billy’s school life. When he asked Billy: “what grade are you in? ” we c an tell how self-engrossed Ted had been; he even did not know his son’s grade. While in the middle of the movie, after Ted and Billy had lived together by themselves for some time, there was another scene of Ted sending Billy to school. This time, there was no anxiety or hurry—Ted tried to communicate with the boy by listening to his story; he tried to show care by helping Billy with his shoe lace; Billy kissed him goodbye. By then, Ted was no longer that self-engrossed Ted; he had grown into a father who loved his son, who expressed his love to his son and who also needed his son’s love. Another contrast was the conversation between Ted and his boss. At the very beginning of this movie, when Ted talked to his boss, the topic was about clothes, or some anecdotes of other colleagues. This was the typical office talking which showed T ed was a typical working man—he was good at getting along with co-workers, but he seldom showed care to his family. However, over the lunch during which he was fired, Ted kept talking about Billy to his boss. Although Ted himself might not have realized it, Billy had become the priority in his life and his love for Billy had grown very deep. Actually, having breakfast, sending Billy to school, and having conversation with the boss, these three things hadn’t change; it was T ed who was changing—from a workaholic who only cared about himself to a father with great love for his son. Besides these obvious contrasts, some other little things Ted did for Billy also shows that Ted’s love for Billy was no less than his mother’s, and he could take care of Billy as well as his mother. All the things said above helped Ted become a better Daddy, a better person;however, they did have influence on his job. How could Ted balance work and Billy? Actually, there was no balance—one part had to give in, and Ted was aware of this, and he had his own answer—after all these days of living with Billy and trying to be a good father, Ted found the love between father and son which he had lost long ago, and he also found that this love was extremely important to him since it could make his life happier and more fulfilled. Therefore, Ted chose to make some sacrifice over his job. The best scene in this movie to illustrate this point is the scene when Ted showed Billy his new office. He didn’t care the salary was less, at that moment, all he cared was Billy, all he knew was that he loved Billy, and all he wanted was to enjoy life with Billy. Work was an important part in T ed’s life, but Billy was even more importa nt; he would try to balance them, but if necessary, he would choose to sacrifice his work a little, and this sacrifice would be worth it, since his love for Billy was incomparable.REVIEWKramer vs. Kramer review by Roger Ebert"Kramer vs. Kramer" wouldn't be half as good as it is -- half as intriguing and absorbing -- if the movie had taken sides. The movie's about a situation rich in opportunities for choosing up sides: a divorce and a fight for the custody of a child But what matters in a story like this (in the movies and in real life, too) isn't who's right or wrong, but if the people involved are able to behave according to their own better nature. Isn't it so often the case that we're selfish and meanspirited in just those tricky human situations that require our limited stores of saintliness?"Kramer vs. Kramer" is about just such a situation. It begins with a marriage filled with a lot of unhappiness, ego and selfishness, and ends with two single people who have both learned important things about the ways they want to behave. There is a child caught in the middle -- their first-grader, Billy -- but this isn't a movie about the plight of the kid but about the plight of the parents.Hollywood has traditionally approached stories like this from the child's point of view, showing him unhappy and neglected by the grownups -- but what if the grownups aren't really grown up? What about a family in which everybody is still basically a kid crying for attention and searching for identity? That's the case here. The movie stars Dustin Hoffman as a workaholic advertising executive whose thoughts are almost entirely centered around his new account -- so much so that when he comes home and his wife announces she's walking out on their marriage, he hardly hears her and doesn't really take her seriously. But his wife (Meryl Streep) is walking out. She needs time to find herself, she says; to discover the unrealized person she left behind when she went into the marriage.Right away we're close to choosing sides and laying blame: How can she walk out on her home and child? we ask. But we can't quite ask that question in all sincerity, because what we've already seen of Hoffman makes it fairly clear why she might have decided to walk out. She may be leaving the family but he's hardly been a part of it. Harassed, running late, taking his son to school on the first day after his wife has left, he asks him: "What grade are you in?" It's the first. Hoffman didn't know. The movie leaves Streep offscreen during its middle passages, as Hoffman and the kid get to know each other, and as Hoffman's duties as a parent eventually lead to his firing at the ad agency. These scenes are the movie's most heart-warming. The movie's writer and director,Robert Benton, has provided his characters with dialog that has the ring of absolute everyday accuracy, but in the case of the kid (the young actor is named Justin Henry), he and Hoffman reportedly decided to use improvisation where possible.Situations are set up and then the young boy is more or less left free to respond in his own words, with Hoffman leading and improvising as well, and many moments have the sense of unrehearsed real life. What that means is that we can see the father and son learning about each other and growing closer. Another movie might have hedged its bets, but "Kramer vs. Kramer" exists very close to that edge where real people are making real decisions. And that's true, too, when the movie reaches its crisis point: when the Streep character returns and announces that now she feels ready to regain custody of her son.By now we have no inclination at all to choose sides. Our sympathies do tend to be with the father -- we've seen him change and grow -- but now we are basically just acting as witnesses to the drama. The movie has encouraged us to realize that these people are deep enough and complex enough, as all people are, that we can't assign moral labels to them."Kramer vs. Kramer" is a movie of good performances, and it had to be, because the performances can't rest on conventional melodrama. Dustin Hoffman's acting is about the best in his career, I think, and this movie should win him an Academy Award nomination and perhaps the Oscar. His performance as Ratso in "Midnight Cowboy" (1970) might strike some people as better than this one, but he had the advantage there of playing a colorful and eccentric character. This time he's just a guy in a three-piece suit, trying to figure out the next 24 hours. One of his best scenes comes as he applies for a job during an ad agency's office Christmas party, and insists on an immediate decision.Meryl Streep has certainly been having quite a year, and has appeared in what seems like half the year's best female roles (so far she's been in "The Deer Hunter," "The Seduction of Joe Tynan" and "Manhattan," and "Holocaust" on TV). In "Kramer vs. Kramer," Benton asked her to state her character's own case in the big scene where she argues for her child from the witness stand. She is persuasive, but then so is Jane Alexander, who plays her best friend, and whose character is a bystander and witness as Hoffman slowly learns how to be a father. This is an important movie for Robert Benton, who co-wrote "Bonnie and Clyde" and also wrote and directed "Bad Company" and "The Late Show." He spends a great deal of attention on the nuances of dialog: His characters aren't just talking to each other, they're revealing things about themselves and can sometimes be seen in the act of learning about their own motives. That's what makes "Kramer vs. Kramer" such a touching film: We get the feeling at times that personalities are changing and decisions are being made even as we watch them.。
