托福tpo75写作范文

托福tpo75写作范文# TOEFL TPO75 Writing Task.Integrated Writing.# Reading Passage. The reading passage argues that the "let it burn" policy in national parks is a bad idea. Firstly, it mentions that large scale wildfires can cause extensive damage to the parks' ecosystems. For example, many plants and trees are destroyed, which can disrupt the habitats of various animals. Secondly, it states that the fires can also be a threat to human lives and property. There are often visitors in national parks, and the out ofcontrol fires can put them in danger. Moreover, nearby communities might also be affected if the fires spread. Finally, the passage contends that the cost of dealing with the aftermath of such large wildfires is extremely high. The government has to spend a lot of money on restoring the damaged areas and preventing future fires.# Listening Passage. The lecturer, however, disputes the claims made in the reading. Regarding the damage to ecosystems, the lecturer points out that while some plants and trees are indeed burned, wildfires also create new opportunities for the ecosystem. Some plants, like certain types of pine trees, have cones that only open and release seeds after being exposed to the heat of a fire. So, in the long run, the fires can actually help in the renewal and diversification of the plant life in the park.As for the threat to human lives and property, the lecturer says that with proper management and monitoring, the risks can be minimized. Thereare modern techniques to predict the spread of fires and evacuate visitors in time. Also, the construction of firebreaks and better communication systems can reduce the danger to nearby communities. In terms of cost, the lecturer argues that preventing all fires through strict suppression policies is actually more expensive in the long term. When small fires are constantly suppressed, there is a build up of flammable materials, which can lead to even larger and more destructive fires in the future. Allowing some natural fires to burn under controlled conditions can reduce this long term cost.# Sample Essay. The reading passage is firmly against the "let it burn" policy in national parks, but the lecturer in the listening part disagrees. The reading claims that big wildfires wreck the park ecosystems. It's like a disaster movie where all the plants and trees are the innocent victims, and then the poor animals lose their homes. But the lecturer has a different take. He says that some plants are like "fire lovers." Take those pine trees with special cones. They need the fire's heat to pop open and spread their seeds. So, in a way, the fire is like a midwife for these plants, helping to bring new life to the ecosystem. The reading also frets about the danger to people and property. It's like the wildfires are big, bad monsters coming to gobble up visitors and nearby towns. But the lecturer says, "Hey, we can handle this!" With modern tricks like predicting where the fire will go and getting visitors out in time, plus building firebreaks, it's like putting up a shield against the fire monster. Finally, the reading complains about the high cost of dealing with the after math of wildfires. It's as if the government is bleeding money because of these fires. But the lecturer says that always stopping small fires is like sweeping dirt under the rug. Eventually, there will be so much flammable stuff piled up that a huge, super expensive fire will break out. So, letting some fires burn in a controlled way is like a smart investment that can save money in the long run. In short, the lecturer has some pretty good counter arguments to the reading's points.Independent Writing.# Topic.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is more important for students to study art and literature than it is to study math and science.# Sample Essay.Well, this is a tough one. Some might say that studying art and literature is more important for students, but I'm not so sure I completely agree. On one hand, art and literature are really cool. They're like the colorful paint on the canvas of our lives. Reading a great novel can take you to different worlds, and making art can be a super fun way to express your feelings. It helps you understand different cultures and the human experience. It's like having a magic key that unlocks all these amazing stories and emotions. But, on the other hand, math and science are like the building blocks of our modern world. Math is everywhere. You need it when you're shopping to figure out if you're getting a good deal. And science? Well, it's givenus things like smartphones, which most of us can't live without these days. Science helps us understand how the world works, from the tiniest atoms to the vastness of the universe. If students focus only on art and literature, it's like having a beautiful flower but no roots to keep it alive. Math and science give us the practical skills to get jobs and make a living. Sure, art andliterature can be a hobby or even a career for some, but most jobs these days require at least some knowledge of math and science. However, I'm not saying art and literature are unimportant. They'rejust as important as math and science, but in different ways. We need a balance. It's like having a delicious meal. You don't want just the dessert (art and literature), you also need the main course (math and science). So, in conclusion, I disagree that it's more important to study art and literature than math and science. We need both to have a well rounded education and a successful future.。

托福的写作范文
托福的写作范文When it comes to TOEFL writing, there are some really important things to keep in mind. I've been through this myself, and I've got some cool tips to share with you.First off, let's talk about the topic. You know, it's super crucial to understand what the topic is asking you. Sometimes, it can be a bit tricky. For example, if the topic is about the advantages and disadvantages of something, don't just list them randomly! I think it's much better to group them in a logical way. Like, you could put all the social aspects together and then the economic ones. It makes your writing look more organized, you know? Now, for the structure. Well, there's no one - size - fits - all kindof structure. But generally, having an introduction that clearly states your position is really helpful. You can start with a little anecdote or a general statement related to the topic. For instance, if the topic is about environmental protection, you could start like this: "We all love our beautiful planet, don't we? But lately, it seems that we're not taking good care of it as we should." This kind of opening grabs the reader's attention! In the body paragraphs, you need to develop your ideas well. Use examples! They are like the magic ingredients in your writing. I can't stress this enough. Let's say you're writing about the importance of reading. You could mention how reading has broadened your own horizons. "I used to be so narrow - minded, but once I started reading different kindsof books, I felt like I had a whole new world opened up to me. And this is just one example of how reading can be so beneficial." See? It makes your point more vivid. Also, don't be afraid to use different sentence structures. Long sentences can show your complex thinking, like "Although there are many factors that contribute to the success of a project, such as proper planning, efficient teamwork, and sufficient resources, in my opinion, the most crucial one is the leadership with clear vision." And short sentences can be really punchy, like "So, always use examples."As for the conclusion, it should tie everything together. You don'thave to repeat everything you've said word for word. Just summarize themain points and maybe restate your position in a different way. "All in all, we've seen how important it is to protect the environment. It's not just about the future of our planet, but also about our own well - being. So,let's all do our part!"One more thing! Vocabulary matters, but don't go overboard and usereally big words that you're not sure about. It's better to use words that you are comfortable with and can use accurately. I once tried to use some super fancy words in my writing, and it just made the whole thing look forced. In a nutshell, TOEFL writing is all about expressing your ideas clearly, using good examples, and having a somewhat logical structure. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it! Do you feel more confident now?。

2016年7月16日托福独立写作题目:Do you agree or disagree: the universities should spend more money in improving facilities (libraries, computer labs) than hiring famous teachers.托福独立写作范文【1】Advanced facilities, like libraries, research center, university hospital are indispensible parts of a good university while famous teachers are also a big component of a prestigious higher institution. Personally, I think it is better for universities to spend more money in hiring famous professors.Admittedly, research centers can be a place where advanced technology is incubated, a library that incorporates state-of-the-art technology can also be conducive to students' study, however, I still believe that famous professors play a more significant role in assessing the reputation of a university.First off, well-respected professors in a specific field can bring lots of benefits not only to the whole community but also to the university. To more specific, prestigious professors can come up with theories and solutions to the most intriguing problems faced by human beings, like treatment of cancers, diabetes and even heart attack. Economists can use data and economic models in their empirical study to predict the economy, and it can provide lots of information for the authority to make timely adjustment to their policies. Electronic engineers can designsome micro-chips that can sustain large-scale computation. The benefits that professors bring to the school can be also enormous. For instance, a Novel Prize laureate can attract countless research foundations and donations from both the private and public sectors, with this large sum of money, the university can in turn renovate labs, research centers and even libraries.Additionally, well-established professors and researchers can educate and enlighten brilliant young students and cultivate future scientists. Famous professors are usually expert in education, they might have been teaching and researching in their field for more than a few decades, thus have accumulated lots of rich teaching experience and developed the most effective teaching approach. Together with their superb charisma, lots of bright young adults will be motivated and inspired and therefore embark on the road of scientific endeavor and exploration. Such inspirations and motivations cannot be brought by improved facilities. Indeed, it is the expertise and charisma of these famous professors that attract thousands of brilliant young students to enroll in a college. To conclude, hiring more famous professors are more advisable than renovating facilities since the scientific discoveries brought by professors can bring colossal benefits to both the community and the university, and also the expertise and charisma of well-established professors can attract, enlighten and cultivate future scientists.托福独立写作范文【2】Cradles of cultivating talents, universities are supposed to provide most high-caliber education. Responding to the expectation, universities have to think the issue over. Comparedwith hiring more teachers, from my own perspective, keeping facilities and resources in the universities most advanced and updated is more essential not only for students but also for renowned professors.First of all, students are able to enjoy a better study environment if their schools utilize advanced equipment. With the assistance of exquisite inventions such as electronic screen and projectors, as well as laboratory equipment, like microscopes and chemical reactors, studying would no longer be a tedious and repetitious information engrafting process, but a way everyone would like to get involved in. Similarly, definitions and formulas of physics and chemistry will graven in students’ minds deeply if they are aided by the equipment when experimenting. However, hardly can professors crystalize abstract concepts into definite ideas without advanced teaching devices. What is more, as for famous teachers themselves, a university that does not invest in its facilities would be appealing. To be constantly enthusiastic on researching their respective academic fields, teachers have a great demand for exquisite facilities to maintain progressing on their own fields. The most sophisticated technological devices offered in universities enable these teachers to conduct successful researches and remain at the top, which is really attractive to those renowned professors. By contrast, old and obsolete teaching and studying facilities will certainly not inspire teachers to keep further academic researching. Also, practically impossible will teachers have interest in making progress.Granted, it is conceded that hiring more teachers in universities means guaranteeing education quality in some sensebecause every student will be concerned and cared about. Even slightest and most subtle academic performance changes of students will be noticed; therefore, teachers can encourage and guide frustrated and upsetting students in time. However, while weighing the benefits brought by investing in facilities and hiring more teachers, we can conclude that facilities are more worthwhile. In conclusion, I should reiterate that universities should update their facilities, making a top priority. Without advanced facilities, a university will not be helped further improved.下载全文。

It is more important to choose friends to have fun with than to choose friends that will help you when you need them.
When it comes to friendship, I tend to believe that the ultimate goal of making friends should neither be having superficial fun nor seeking ready assistance. Nevertheless, choosing a ready-to-help friend seems to be insightful and more desirable if we have to take one option between the two because having fun with others demands less effort or sacrifice than helping others does. For this reason and also considering the general situation of our society, I tend to disagree with the given assertion.
Not absolutely appropriate though, it make some point to compare the two types of friendship by evaluating the effort each of them requires. To have fun with someone else, one needs nothing more than a relaxed mood, plus certain amount of money and time. In contrast, to help someone else, one might have to sacrifice a lot more and sometimes have to suffer at first, which seems less desirable. This might be the interpretation for a common dramatic plot that when someone is in fortune, he often has a pile of ostensible friends around him cheering for his success; while he is in difficulties, few of his former friends would offer a hand. Anyway, genuine friendship requires a sense of responsibility and a willingness to make sacrifice which we rarely see in people who are used to pleasing or amusing others.
Moreover, in a utilitarian consideration, friends who can help us are more important and valuable than those we only have fun with. After all, life is never exclusively composed of happy moments; people have to face myriads of adversities where a reaching out hand would be so precious and thus having fun pales in significance consequently. Many people put this idea in this way: a friend in need is a friend indeed. Ostensibly, this seems to be what true friendshipmeans.
However, as far as I’m concerned, although friends who help us are more desirable and precious, I tend to suggest that we should never make friends with a utilitarian purpose for the reason that assistance or fun from our friends is nothing but the side products of true friendship the meaning of which is far more profound and pure.。
