Well, this is actually a complicated question. My preference will vary from occasion to occasion. It depends on what kind of subject I am studying. If the subjects to be tested are fact-based subjects, such as science and engineering ones, I would prefer a sit-in exam. Because what I need to do is just to learn about the facts, truth, or formula by heart and write them out to make sure whether I have mastered them. I don’t have to express my opinions because they are simply true and have been put the test for years. If, however, I am supposed to study subjects in the humanities, I would prefer to write a paper, because there is no definite answer to the questions therein. I need to learn about something and then find relevant materials and then formulate my own ideas about it. A paper would provide enough time and space for me to explore the subject and think for myself.

The university is now planning to send all the students emails with all the daily activities everyday so that students can receive event information up to date. The girl agrees with the plan greatly. For the main reason, the local newspaper is published weekly and people who read the newspaper on Monday will probably forget the event held on Wednesday or Friday. The mails will be a good reminder of the activities. Another good aspect of the emails is that when an activity is cancelled for some reasons in the last minute, the email will have you informed and prevent you from showing up with no one at the entrance. Besides, everyone will check emails at least once a day so there is no need to worry students can not see the mails.

I wanna talk about the gym nearby my home and that’s the place where I go almost everyday after work. I like going there because I can do many kinds of exercise in that gym. The jazz dance training offered there, for example, has never failed to kick the pressure off. Also, I could get to know many new friends there. Most of them are from a different educational and professional background and having a talk with them from time to time can really broaden my horizon. So the gym to me, just like a cinema or bar to others, is a great source of joy and relaxation.
