二、学情分析
通过两年的英语学习，三年级学生具备了一定的英语听说的能力，能够围绕动物的话题，正确使用Look at …It’s… It has …来描述动物外形外貌特征，以及能正确听说giraffe, fox, lion, horse, zebra, gorilla等表示动物的词汇和thin, fat, tall, short, long, small, big等形容词。
三、重难点
重点：
1. 能听懂，会说单词lion, fox, wolf, zebra, gorilla, horse。
2. 能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容，拓展动物词汇，理解猩猩和猴子的区别，在教师的帮助下表演故事。

四、教学过程
（一）热身复习
1. 师生问候，齐唱歌曲歌谣——At the zoo.
【设计意图】通过唱本单元的歌曲，活跃课堂气氛，唱上学期所学歌谣，复习动物词汇的同时复习形容词。
2. 提出竞赛机制并复习
(1) 提出竞赛机制：全班AB队比赛，比赛哪一队获得的动物更多就获胜。
(2) 复习：玩guessing game猜测Zoom在动物园里看到的动物；以Free Talk的形式说一说其他学过的动物词汇。
【设计意图】通过猜一猜的游戏制造信息差,让学生在趣味中复习旧知；通过头脑风暴的形式激活学生对已学动物词汇的记忆。

1. 学生观看视频，数一数Zip画了几种动物，初步感知全文。

让学生2人一组，进行角色扮演，一人为Zoom，一人为Zip。
【设计意图】通过两人角色扮演，帮助学生更好地理解课文角色的说话语气和情感，同时培养学生的合作学习能力。
2. 改编故事
(1) 一只骄傲的狐狸也说“I know all the animals.” Zip会找哪些动物考他呢？
(2) 教师展示提供的动物照片并提出表演要求。
(3) 教师和一名学生合作示范表演。
(4) 同桌两人表演。
(5) 教师邀请1-2组学生上台表演。
【设计意图】通过改编课文，激发学生的学习兴趣，并加深对文本的理解。
在表演时，教师先进行示范表演，再到小组合作进行表演，最后展示成果，采用这种教、带、扶、放的方式，逐步加深难度，引导学生进行自主学习。
