2学情分析
四年级小学生活泼好动,具有很强的模仿力和求知欲,第三
单元第13课已经学习过关于年龄和生日的内容,为这节课的学习做好了铺垫,学生学习起来比较容易。
在真实的情景中测量身高,学生会非常感兴趣。
这节课要加强对学生的听、说的口语训练,使学生能用简单的句子与他人进行英语交流,鼓励学生在小组合作中团结协作,提高学生的创新能力和合作能力。
3重点难点
1、学生能正确读出metres并了解它的意义及缩写m。
学生能正确读出小数,例:1.53m

学情分析：
（一）学习者分析：
四年级学生活泼好动，善于模仿，乐于参与活动，喜欢积极表现自我。
思维以形象思维为主，主要是依靠直观的、具体的内容。
他们的记忆强度不大，注意力保持时间短，有一定的观察能力，他们需要的是能够与他们“玩”到一起的老师，需要在趣中求学。
经过一学年的学习，对英语已有初步认知，少数学生有一些英语基础，因此教师要设计学生喜欢的活动让每一个学生参与进来，更要充分利用好有基础的学生资源，让他们起到配合，榜样的作用。
（二）学习内容分析：
本节课学习学校中的路线，尤其是远和近的位置表述。
far 经常与from 连用，构成far from 远离….一般疑问句Is it near/far from _____? 学生可以向书中那样回答：Yes /No, it’s ______. 教师也可以告诉学生它的肯定与否定回答方式，只要学生表述清楚，都要及时给予表扬与鼓励。
