一、说教材（一）、先分析一下教学内容:本单元是PEP小学英语四年级下册第四单元；课题是：At the farm.本单元的语言目标是：Describe some vegetables,some animals and learn how to use“These / Those are...They are...”在PEP小学英语三年级上册的第二单元Colours中学习了颜色red,brown,green,orange;在PEP小学英语三年级下册的第三单元At the zoo中学习了形容词long,short,big,small;在PEP小学英语三年级下册的第五单元Do you like pears?中学习了句型“I like....I don't like....”,可知学生已对描述蔬菜的特征有了初步了解。
通过学习这个单元，学生能够掌握更多关于蔬菜的词汇和会话，了解更多的饮食文化。
本单元第一课时的内容是A let's learn,是本单元的词汇课。
目标是掌握蔬菜类单词以及它们的复数形式。
（二）、教学目标1、知识目标（1）能听说读写tomato, potato, green bean, carrot 的单数和复数形式；（2）能在情景中运用句型These are…They are… 来描述蔬菜特征。
2、能力目标（1）能听说读写本单元有关蔬菜的单词；（2）能够用英语描述蔬菜特征；（3）能在实际生活中对别人是否喜欢某种类型的蔬菜进行问答，提高学生的综合语言运用能力。
