以文化为题的英语演讲稿5篇以文化为题的英语演讲稿1The way of life that a group of people builds up over a long period of time becomes the people’s culture. Culture includes the people’s values and beliefs as well as their technical competency. Some aspects of culture are learned in a formal setting, such as a school, while other aspects are learned informally in the process of day-to-day living.A culture is always changing. Changes in s culture often come about by borrowing form another culture and by invention. To enrich the culture of our nation, we are constantly adapting new inventions and new ideas into our way of life.以文化为题的英语演讲稿2Traditional Chinese culture is beginning to capture the attention of the world. This is true even as popular culture that has traditionally been considered Western begins to spread throughout China.Kung Fu, especially, has had a great impact on the millions of people who first learned about China through it. From that, they may come to China and learn about other aspects of this culture, such as traditional operas like the Beijing and Sichuan ones. Asian nations have long known about the greatness of ancient Chinese culture. Their own cultures are a mix of native ones and those Chinese characteristics.Korea and Japan long ago adopted ideas such as Confucianism is somethingthat continues today even as it is challenged by Pop Culture. This strength comes from the ideas given in the Four Books of Confucianism (The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, The Analects of Confucius, and The Book of Mencius). These books built upon the ideas of an even more ancient period codified in the Five Classics. From them, the West learns such things as Fengshui and other concepts that are uniquely Chinese. China has taken steps to further this spread of its culture by establishing Chinese Cultural Centers in such places as the United States and Europe.以文化为题的英语演讲稿3A folk culture is a small isolated, cohesive, conservative, nearly self- sufficient group that is homogeneous in custom and race with a strong family or clan structure and highly developed rituals. Order is maintained through sanctions based in the religion or family and interpersonal. Relationships are strong. Tradition is paramount, and change comes infrequently and slowly. There is relatively little division of labor into specialized duties. Rather, each person is expected to perform a great variety of tasks, though duties may differ between the sexes. Most goods are handmade and subsistence economy prevails. Individualism is weakly developed in folk cultures as are social classes.Unaltered folk cultures no longer exist in industrialized countries such as the United States and Canada. Perhaps the nearest modern equivalent in Anglo America is the Amish, a German American farming sect that largely renounces the products and labor saving devices of the industrial age.In Amish areas, horse drawn buggies still serve as a local transportation device and the faithful are not permitted to own automobiles. The Amish scentral religious concept of Demut humility , clearly reflects the weakness of individualism and social class so typical of folk cultures and there is a corresponding strength of Amish group identity. Rarely do the Amish marry outside their sect. The religion, a variety of the Mennonite faith, provides the principal mechanism for maintaining order.以文化为题的英语演讲稿4China has the history of more than 5,000 years and we are so proud of the profound culture. Every year, we are so looking forward to spending the holiday during the traditional festivals. They are the important part of Chinese traditional culture. But for young people, the meaning of these festival is fading away. When young people are asked about the meaning of traditional festival, some of them have no idea. For example, some young people believe that Mid-autumn Festival is to in honor of the ancestors, or it is a day to eat mooncake. Actually, most festivals have been advocated by the commercial ads, and they show people to buy more products to spend the festivals happily. Some ads try to implant people the wrong idea about the meaning of festival, just to attract more customers. The loss meaning of traditional festivals brings the negative side to the preserve of traditional culture. The mass media should advocate the essence of the festivals, so as to let the young generation learn more about our cultureand be proud of it.以文化为题的英语演讲稿5Chinese there are a lot of traditional culture, such as the LanternFestival, the Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Glutinous Rice Balls to eat, to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival, summer egg fight...... 关于文化的初中学生英语演讲稿English:Culture is a multifaceted aspect of our lives that shapes our identities, beliefs, and behaviors. It encompasses a wide range of elements, including language, traditions, customs, arts, and values. Understanding and appreciating different cultures is essential for fostering tolerance, empathy, and global harmony. By embracing diversity, we not only enrich our own lives but also contribute to a more inclusive and peaceful world. Cultures serve as the foundation of societies, providing a sense of belonging and cohesion among its members. They reflect the collective experiences, struggles, and triumphs of a community, passing down wisdom and heritage from generation to generation. However, in today's interconnected world, cultures are constantly evolving and intermingling, leading to new forms of expression and exchange. 文化主题英语演讲稿范文

Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and deliver a speech on the theme of cultural diversity. In this rapidly globalizing world, cultural diversity has become an indispensable part of our lives. It enriches our society, fosters creativity, and strengthens our bonds as global citizens. Today, I will explore the beauty of cultural diversity, its importance, and how we can embrace and appreciate it.Firstly, let us delve into the beauty of cultural diversity. Diversityis the essence of life. It is what makes our world colorful and vibrant. Imagine a world where everyone looks, thinks, and behaves the same. It would be a monotonous and boring place. However, in a world filled with cultural diversity, we can witness the wonders of different traditions, languages, and customs. This diversity not only enriches our lives but also teaches us valuable lessons about tolerance, respect, and empathy. One of the most striking examples of the beauty of cultural diversity is the celebration of festivals. Festivals are a way for people to express their cultural heritage and share their traditions with others. From the colorful Holi festival in India to the vibrant Diwali celebrations in Nepal, festivals showcase the rich tapestry of our world. By participating in these celebrations, we can learn about the customs and beliefs of other cultures, fostering a sense of unity and understanding. Moreover, cultural diversity contributes to the development ofcreativity and innovation. When people from different backgrounds come together, they bring with them a wealth of ideas and perspectives. This cross-pollination of thoughts leads to groundbreaking discoveries and inventions. Take, for instance, the global success of technology companies like Google, Apple, and Microsoft. These companies havethrived by embracing cultural diversity and hiring employees from various cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.Cultural diversity also plays a crucial role in promoting social harmony and reducing conflicts. When people understand and appreciate the values and beliefs of others, they are more likely to coexist peacefully. Thisunderstanding can bridge gaps between communities, nations, and even continents. In a world where conflicts and tensions are prevalent, embracing cultural diversity is a powerful tool for building a more peaceful and inclusive society. Now that we have explored the beauty of cultural diversity, let us discuss its importance. Firstly, cultural diversity is essential for the survival and growth of societies. It allows us to learn from one another, adapt to changing circumstances, and thrive in a globalized world. Without cultural diversity, our societies would be stagnant and prone to decline.Secondly, cultural diversity fosters a sense of belonging and identity. Each culture has its unique values, traditions, and customs that shapeits people's identity. By celebrating and preserving our cultural heritage, we can strengthen our sense of belonging and pride. This, in turn, leads to more resilient and cohesive societies.Lastly, cultural diversity is a source of inspiration and joy. It allows us to explore new horizons, discover new talents, and experience the wonders of the world. By embracing cultural diversity, we can enrich our lives and create a more vibrant and dynamic society. So, how can we embrace and appreciate cultural diversity? Here are a few suggestions:1. Learn about different cultures: Take the time to learn about the customs, traditions, and values of other cultures. This can be achieved through reading, watching documentaries, or attending cultural events.2. Embrace cultural exchange: Participate in cultural exchange programs, such as language exchange or study abroad programs. This will allow you to immerse yourself in a new culture and learn firsthand about itsvalues and customs.3. Practice empathy and tolerance: Be open-minded and respectful towards people from different backgrounds. Understand that cultural differences are not reasons for conflict but opportunities for growth and learning.4. Celebrate cultural diversity: Attend cultural events, festivals, and exhibitions. By doing so, you will not only enrich your own life but also contribute to the celebration of cultural diversity in your community. In conclusion, the beauty of cultural diversity is undeniable. It enriches our lives, fosters creativity, and strengthens our bonds as global citizens. By embracing and appreciating cultural diversity, we can create a more inclusive, peaceful, and vibrant world. 文化英语演讲稿一:China is wonderous and awe-inspiring. It has a history of five thousand years. It is the only continuous ancient civilization. Other ancient civilizations have changed, discontinued, withered or perished. Why is it so enduring? Why is it so coherent, often sticking to itself, remaining undivided? Why is it so dynamic, always able to revive, regenerate and revitalise itself? Why is it an immortal phoenix able to rise again on its ashes? These are enduring questions. Nobody can give a complete answer, full stop. They will stimulate intellect, provoke interest, engage investigation.Chinese culture is rich and profound. It has the richest historical records. Chinese have been most historically-minded. Perhaps, China has more historical records than the whole world put together. This guess will not be far from truth. She has a great deal of historical records from the pre-Christian era, not to mention the matchless twenty-six history books of the imperial dynasties. She is not the home of Buddhism, but she boasts of the richest Buddhist scriptures.Another area of the profundity of Chinese culture is her pre-industrial revolution science and technology. Before this revolution China had been the pace-setter not only in history and literature but also in science and technology. Unfortunately, this area had been all along neglected by the world, including China herself. Fortunately, this has been discovered and proved by the world-famous British scholar Joseph Needham. Thanks to his efforts, this has been universally accepted by the world's peopleas a matter of fact. The richness of Chinese culture also finds expression in its diversity and pluralism. China has always been a country of many ethnic groups. No matter which ethnic group was dominant, be it Hans, Mongols, or Manchus, her various peoples always could live under the same roof, worshipped the same emperor. It is true that there were times of division, but division was transient. There seem to be cycles of division and unification, but unification has oulived division. All these peoples have their own legacies, but they share the same legacy as well. They form the Chinese nation. The diversity and pluralism of Chinese culture is a tremendous asset. This is very keenly felt now. Increasing value is attached to this national treasure. Many giant western intellectuals have looked up to Chinese culture. Enlightment fathers drew inspiration from Confucianism. Some contemporary philosophers and psychiatrists have found cures for western ills in Chinese mysticism, Confucian ethics and Taoist non-government.文化英语演讲稿二:For some students, English is very difficult to learn. It's true that English is different from other subjects. Because we learn other subjects in Chinese. We know Chinese much earlier than English. So Chinese influences our English learning. Do you want to learn English well? And then I'll be very glad to share the experiences. The most important thing is to remember four "C"s.First, "Carefulness". You must be careful when you do anything, and also, when you learn English. Many students make simple mistakes at times. 'Cause they are not careful enough. Also, many students don't regard English learning as animportant thing. But we all know that English is the most widely used language in the world. As we are growing up, English is becoming more and more important in our life. So, when you learn English, please be careful. Further more, you also need to "listen" carefully. At school, listen carefully when you learn in class. The teacher can tell us a lot. If you have chances to speak to foreigners from English-spoken country, you should listen to them carefully. ay attention to their pronunciations and ways to express.Next, "Confidence" & "Courage". Many Chinese students are troubled by spoken English. Of course there is a reason about the language environment. However, the more important thing is that some of us are not confident enough to "open the mouth". When we meet some foreigners, we hardly speak to them if they don't speak to us. "Confidence" & "Courage" are what we need. We can practice our English at home. Find a mirror and then speak to ourselves. Then you may feel more relaxed and comfortable than speaking to others. Don't afraid to make mistakes. But also be careful, don't make mistakes that you know what is right. The last one is "Curiosity". You need to keep curious. Interest is the best teacher. When you read an English article, see an English movie, watch some English programs or when you join any other events about English, you should keep curious. If you learn a new word, then guess the meaning before you use the dictionary. If you find a sentence that you consider very meaningful, then you can write it down and collect all of them. If you keep curious about English, you may find learning English is so interesting. Can't you learn English well then? These are my suggestions of English learning. And I hope itcan be helpful for you.And thank you all for listening文化英语演讲稿三:2008 Olympic Games, will be the product which the traditional Chinese culture and the traditional Olympics culture unifies.
Culture of EgyptThe Culture of Egypt has five thousand years of recorded history. Ancient Egypt was among the earliest civilizations. For millennia, Egypt maintained a strikingly complex and stable culture that influenced later cultures of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After the Pharaonic era, Egypt itself came under the influence of Hellenism, for a time Christianity, and later, Arab and Islamic culture. Today, many aspects of Egypt’s ancient culture exist in interaction with newer elements, including the influence of modern Western culture, itself with roots in Ancient Egypt.LanguageThe Ancient Egyptian language, which formed a separate branch among thefamily of Afro-Asiatic languages, was among the first written languages, and is known from hieroglyphic inscriptions preserved on monuments and sheets of papyrus. The Coptic language, the only extant descendant of Egyptian, is today the liturgical language of the Coptic Orthodox Church. The “Koiné” dialect of the Greek language was important in Hellenistic Alexandria, and was used in the philosophy and science of that culture, and was later studied by Arabic scholars.Arabic came to Egypt in the seventh century and Egyptian Arabic has since become the modern speech of the country. Of the many varieties of Arabic, it is the most widely spoken second dialect, probably due to the influence of Egyptian cinema throughout the Arabic-speaking world. In the Upper Nile Valley, around KomOmbo and Aswan, there are about 300,000 speakers of Nubian languages, mainly Nobiin, but also Kenuzi-Dongola. The Berber languages are represented by Siwi, spoken by about 5,000 around the Siwa Oasis. There are over a million speakers of the Domari language , mostly living north of Cairo, and there are about 60,000 Greek speakers in Alexandria. Approximately 77,000 speakers of Bedawi live in the Eastern Desert.LiteratureAncient Egyptian literature dates back to the Old Kingdom, in the third millennium BC. Religious literature is best known for its hymns to various gods and its mortuary texts. The oldest extant Egyptian literature are the Pyramid Texts: the mythology and rituals carved around the tombs of rulers. The later, secular literature of ancient Egypt includes the ‘wisdom texts’, forms of philosophicalinstruction. The Instruction of Ptahhotep, for example, is a collation of moral proverbs by an Egyptian administrator. The authors of the literature of the Old and Middle Kingdoms seem to have been drawn from an elite administrative class, and were celebrated and revered into the New Kingdom . In time, the Pyramid Texts became Coffin Texts , and finally the mortuary literature produced its masterpiece, the Book of the Dead, during the New Kingdom. The Middle Kingdom was the golden age of Egyptian literature. Some notable texts include the Tale of Neferty, the Instructions of Amenemhat I, the Tale of Sinuhe, the Story of the Shipwrecked Sailor and the Story of the Eloquent Peasant. Instructions became a popular literary gee of the New Kingdom, taking the form of advice on proper behavior. The Story of Wenamun and the Instructions ofAni are well-known examples from this period.During the Greco-Roman period , Egyptian literature was translated into other languages, and Greco-Roman literature fused with native art into a new style of writing. From this period comes the Rosetta Stone, which became the key to unlocking the mysteries of Egyptian writing to modern scholarship. The great city of Alexandria boasted its famous Library of almost half a million handwritten books during the third century BC. Alexandria’s centre of learn ing also produced the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, the Septuagint. During the first few centuries of the Christian era, Egypt was the ultimate source of a great deal of ascetic literature in the Coptic language. Egyptian monasteries translated many Greek and Syriac works, which are now only extant in Coptic. Under Islam,Egypt continued to be a great source of literary endeavour, now in the Arabic language. In 970, al-Azhar University was founded in Cairo, which to this day remains the most important centre of Sunni Islamic learning. In the 12th century Egypt, the Jewish talmudic scholar Maimonides produced his most important work.Egypt’s vast and rich literature constitutes an important cultural element in the life of the country and in the Middle East as a whole. Egyptian novelists and poets were among the first to experiment with modern styles of Arabic literature, and the forms they developed have been widely imitated. The first modern Egyptian novel Zaynab by Muhammad Husayn Haykal was published in 1913 in the Egyptian vernacular. Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz was the first Arabic-language writer to win the NobelPrize in Literature. Many Egyptian books and films are available throughout the Middle East. Other prominent Egyptian writers include Nawal El Saadawi, well known for her feminist works and activism, and Alifa Rifaat who also writes about women and tradition. Vernacular poetry is perhaps the most popular literary gee amongst Egyptians, represented most significantly by Ahmed Fuad Nigm and Abdel Rahman el-Abnudi.ReligionAncient Egyptian religion was a polytheistic system that saw the world as in conflict between forces of order and chaos. The Pharaoh, representative of order on Earth, was seen as divine and descended of the falcon god Horus. There was a strong cult of resurrection in the next life centered around the god Osiris.Coptic Christianity became popular in the Roman and Byzantine periods, andEgypt was indeed one of the strongest early Christian communities. Today, Christians constitute about 10% of the population.Islam in Egypt came to the country with the successors of Mohammed, and is today the dominant faith with 90% of the population adherents, almost all of the Sunni denomination.Visual artEgyptian art in antiquityThe Egyptians were one of the first major civilizations to codify design elements in art. The wall paintings done in the service of the Pharaohs followed a rigid code of visual rules and meanings. Early Egyptian art is characterized by absence of linear perspective, which results in a seemingly flat space. These artists tended to create images based on what they knew, and not as much on what they see. Objects in these artworksgenerally do not decrease in size as they increase in distance and there is little shading to indicate depth. Sometimes, distance is indicated through the use of tiered space, where more distant objects are drawn higher above the nearby objects, but in the same scale and with no overlapping of forms. People and objects are almost always drawn in profile.Early Egyptian artists did have a system for maintaining dimensions within artwork. They used a grid system that allowed them to create a smaller version of the artwork, and then scale up the design based upon proportional representation in a larger grid.See also: African art[edit] Egyptian art in modern timesModern and contemporary Egyptian art can be as diverse as any works in the world art scene. Many artists in Egypt have taken on modern media such as digital art and this has been the theme of many exhibions in Cairo, in recent times. There has also been a tendency to use the world wide web as an alternative outlet for artists and there is a strong Art-focused internet community on egroups that has found origin in Egypt.SciencePtolemyClaudius Ptolemaeus, given contemporary German styling, in a 16th century engraved book frontispiecePtolemy is one of the most famous scientists associated with Egypt. Ptolemy’s astronomical interests also appeared in a discussion of the music of the spheres.Tributes to Ptolemy include Ptolemaeus crater on the Moon and Ptolemaeus crater on Mars.Music and danceEgyptian music is a rich mixture of indigenous Egyptian, Arabic, African and Western influences. As early as 4000 BC, ancient Egyptians were playing harps and flutes, as well as two indigenous instruments: the ney and the oud. However, there is little notation of Egyptian music before the 7th century AD, when Egypt became part of the Muslim world. Percussion and vocal music became important at this time, and has remained an important part of Egyptian music today.Contemporary Egyptian music traces its beginnings to the creative work of luminaries such as Abdu-l Hamuli, Almaz and Mahmud Osman, who were all patronized by Khedive Ismail and who influenced the later work of Sayed Darwish, Umm Kulthum, Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Abdel Halim Hafez and other Egyptian music giants. From the 1970s onwards, Egyptian pop music has become increasingly important in Egyptian culture, particularlyamong the large youth population of Egypt.
